Splits Training is designed for all levels to get full splits step by step, even if you are a beginner. The mixing of static and dynamic splits helps you improve flexibility effectively and achieve results faster than you think. With about 10 min a day, you’ll get closer and closer to the floor!

Productive stretches for splits in 30 days are suitable for men and women, adults and kids. You can customize your splits training based on your own preferences, no equipment needed.

Whether you want to do a full split for dance, ballet, gymnastics or martial arts, this training will help you get there.

Why splits?
Splits have been proven to prevent injuries, increase muscle strength, relieve muscle stiffness and give you better circulation.

Improve your flexibility & balance
Flexibility and balance are key to reducing the risk of injury during exercise. Splits stretch all your lower body muscles to increase your range of motion.

Loosen your hip flexors
Due to sitting at a desk all day, most people have extremely tight hip flexors, which can cause pain, especially in your lower back. Splits open up these areas to relieve your muscle tension.

Deeply stretch your legs
When doing splits, your legs will be stretching the whole time. Doctors will recommend splits as part of your exercise routine, especially if you’re doing activities such as running or biking.

Boost your circulation
Splits lengthen your muscles and improve your circulation by increasing blood flow to your muscles.

Please get your muscles warmed up before doing the splits. Splits need time; your muscles need time to stretch, recover and adapt to the new demands. Be patient, and stick to it; you’ll soon see progress.

  1. Really like this app-it is easy to follow along and the stretches really helped improve my flexibility. I also like the pacing-there is rest time built in between stretches and the stretches are not too long or short. In addition, you can set your level to beginner, intermediate, or advanced. The only thing I wish this app had was that I wish you could see the full stretching list while doing the stretches.

  2. Excellent structure. Doable sessions that are still challenging. Great about making room for adjusting to yourself. Videos, animation, timer, written text, and audio during each part are all great features. And I love the other features as well. It’s been only a few days but I’ve seen more progress faster his way than I did over the last year I’ve been working on my splits and flexibility. That says a lot because I was naturally very inflexible, especially in my hips and legs.

  3. Love this app!!! Really easy to use, structured, yet accommodating, and efficient! Good explanations and even gives you video links to show you exactly what to do. Starts you on your skill level but you can change it at anytime. Nice variety of workouts so it’s not the same every day. Scheduled rest days, 30 days in each level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) (so 90 days-not 30), but it makes a lot more sense now that I’ve started. I’m a complete beginner but I’m doing well. Really really nice

  4. I’m on day 8 and feel great. Its free and easy to use. Although some of the stretches get repetitive, by doing the same ones you get really good at them, then can advance into doing the accelerated versions. I just started and I went from not being able to touch my ankles for over 5 seconds, to now being able to touch the ground and hold for a minute. Also, there are minimal adds. There is a 5 second one at the end of each work out but it’s hardly noticable. Really good app.

  5. Works great, needs minor (but essential) improvements. During the quarantine, I did the 30-day program of Advanced-level splits training. It worked awesome. One more cycle and I’ll be in full splits. However, it desperately needs a dark mode, AND to be able to function with the screen powered off. I usually do this as my nightly wind-down in a dark room, and the white screen is blaring. I try to limit screentime prior to sleep so it would be a major improvement. Otherwise, I love this app!!!

  6. Using the app for 2+ months now, 4-5 days a week. The app has been very helpful to motivate me exercise, so 5 stars. Don’t expect the advertised splits in 30 days though. For two months my longitudinal splits improved just a little (and I think it’s a very good result). The “feet apart” split hasn’t improved an inch, but no surprise — I’m generally very inflexible in that direction.

So far this is a great little app with a low barrier to entry. Loving that the daily excercises are short and include both the warm-up with the stretches, and the reminder is gentle and not abnoxious. Not a guaranteed 30 days to splits – I am almost through the beginner month now and I am seeing progress, but I’ll probably need to give it a few more months before I will be able to do the splits proper (probably 2 – 3, judging by the progress so far).

  8. On my 11th day, and for the first time noticed a major improvement in flexibilty. App is so simple, but well thought out. Gives timed stretch exercises with visual and verbal cues for proper execution. Difficulty level can be selected. Keeps track of your workout days and extra features include a weight tracker. There are ads, but I don’t mind them at all. I actually look forward to my 15 minute sessions. Even if I don’t ever achieve a full split, I’m sticking with the app. It’s excellent!

  9. This app actually works extremely well. I wanted something to work on flexibility but was skeptical about the “30 day promise”. I started on intermediate and by day 7 I am getting within 3 inches of the ground. Amazing improvement! Very easy to follow along and the descriptions and images are super helpful. There are ads but it’s free so it’s fine.

  10. Overall a useful app that could be improved or expanded. After only 9 days I already see and feel a difference in my body, which is great! But this app is clearly meant for a certain baseline of flexibility and body type, even for beginners. I wish that the animations and descriptions included guidance/visuals for modifications using blocks and straps in the earliest stages, though I appreciate the general lack of need for any equipment besides a mat. But in general, I enjoy working worth it!

  11. Pretty cool app. The exercises have easy and advanced modes you can toggle between. If you need more time during or between stretches you can easily adjust for that. You’ll get a notification everyday at a time of your choosing to engage with the app. It also tracks your progress on a calendar which is nice! BMI rating is not 100% accurate but it’s in the ballpark.

I have done 1 exercise. I like the robot voice and the clear instructions. My goal is not to do the splits but to regain some flexibility in my hips. The ad is at the end of the 15 minute exercise. I will be adding this to my rowing workouts. It made me set a reminder. I might go through and see if I can turn this off. I hate getting phone notifications.

  13. Wonderful app! Great workouts, not too long but efficient! I like the daily reminders and the planned breaks. The womans voice is a bit robotic but small thing compared to how great the rest of the app is. Big recommend! I’m a week in and definitely feel like if I stick with the program, my splits will come, or be very very close, by the end of the 30 days. I’m currently on the intermediate track.

  14. I’m on my 3rd day & I really like this app! Its fast, easy to use, & is user friendly. I like how the work outs are set up. Each move is listed with times & has a description of the moves. The only thing missing is stretching after the workout, but I understand this is a splits workout only. The ads don’t get in the way of the workouts, so far. Thank you for the free use, it’s awesome so far & I’ll keep recommending it.

  15. Great app, easy to use and easy to follow through the exercises. I love that they break up 3 levels from beginner to advanced in 30 days each. I just started Day 1 yesterday, and I’m glad they have a daily reminder to keep me focused and motivated! It also let’s you track your weight and logs your stats on a calendar in the app so you can see your progress.

This app is amazing for obtaining and gaining flexibility! It has different levels for how flexible you are ( beginner, intermediate, advanced) I am a ballet dancer, so staying flexible is important for me. I love the design of the app and I like how it’s free. It doesn’t make you pay for certain workouts and it’s very motivating because it sends you notifications if you turn them on. ( they sound something like this; your body needs energy, or splits are obtained over time) I love this app!♡

  17. The app is great for providing you with a curated stretch and light exercise program so you don’t have to. There aren’t any glitches that I found though I didnt participate in the weight tracking/calorie burning program it offers. Areas of improvement: Some of the animations are anatomically unrealistic or don’t show proper technique. Some of the videos are nonexistent, are too long, or dont provide enough info to know if the stretch is performed correctly.

This is a great exercise app with lots of variety! So far I have tried the splits workout on easy mode, and it has been really helpful. They have three plans – beginner, intermediate, and advanced – and within the plan you can choose whether you would like to do easy mode if you’re not too flexible yet, and standard if you are. Overall, a very good and easy to use app. 👍🏼

  19. Very helpful. Not difficult or pushy, and there’s a break every five days to make sure you don’t pull anything. I have never been flexible so I am taking the ninety day course. If you are advanced, you start on advanced and do the thirty day course. If you aren’t very good, you do the sixty day or ninety day course. Either way, it is surprisingly good for a completely free app. Plus, you only get one add per half hour session, and you can adjust the in between breaks depending on your skill. 👍

  20. i’ve always wanted to learn how to do the splits! You can pick what level of flexibility you’re at currently to grow from there. I like that it tracks your weight, exhaustion levels, & when you did the exercise. I learned that you need to do some cardio to help the stretches not hurt yourself. The moves are explained if you need it & you can set your rest-in-between time. Love it!

  21. Quin HK dice:

I LOVE this app! I used to be able to do the splits, and decided to download Splits in 30 Days on a whim. As it turns out, I missed doing the splits. It”s one of those things where you dont know how amazing it is untill you’ve lost it and then found it again(like toiliet paper). I lift weights and do some home workouts to keep in shape for my wrestling team, and I also use this app to warm up for my workouts(from another app). Home Workout is another great app(the one i use for my workouts).

  22. Shyla Rox dice:

The exercises are well-paced, the verbal cues are excellent and clear, and if you’re unsure how to perform a particular exercise you can hit the (?) icon and find a thorough description. I’m only on day 4, but the app reminds me every morning (as I set it to) and gives me all the tools I need to get a good stretch. I really recommend doing a warm-up before you start a training session, though, because I have overstretched my “cold” muscles twice now. Take care and be well!

  23. After 2 months of strictly adhering to the advanced program and making the best out of each exercise, I have not been able to achieve full splits. The advanced program only has 2 weeks of exercises, which I repeated 4 times. If there was an option to purchase a 30 day program I would’ve paid for it, but did not see one. Overall I am very pleased with the app. It’s free, the ads are not intrusive and although I’m not at full splits yet, I plan to continue until I get it.

  24. Havent been using the app for too long, however for a free app i think its amazing. You cam customize workouts or stick to the scheduled days, there are even different levels. The app isnt confusing at all and its pretty simple. My only minor complaints is that the coach that speaks during the exercises is a robotic voice and can be annoying after a while. But you can listen to your own music while using the app to mask the voice. Good app.

  25. Overall solid app. I love the timer and the feature that informs you when you’re halfway through a particular movement or exercise. I wish the interface didn’t seem so geared towards women as it discourages men to want and achieve a full split when they very much can, and it would be beneficial for their health.

  26. This app is perfect: The workouts are challenging but not impossible. The exercises are explained clearly and are accompanied by an animation that shows you how to perform them correctly. I especially love the helpful audio tips that play during the exercises. There is also a built in timer so you don’t have to flick back and forth between exercises. It’s great for tracking your progress. All of this and there are still many more features I have yet to explore!

  27. Best splits app!! I’ve been looking for a splits app for years and this is the best one by far. I have improved tremendously just this week alone. The only thing I have a problem with is the November calendar being messed up. The days are off as the calendar has two Nov 3rds on it. Other than that it’s a great app! I hope y’all make more stretching specific apps. Maybe one for other poses!

  28. Amazing. I’m currently on day 9 and I’m a lot better then in the beginning. You can pick if your a beginner in the middle or close so it gives you the right stretches. Also every now and then it asks you if it’s too hard too easy or just right so you don’t overwork yourself or your not really getting better. Would recommend

  29. My only problem is that they clearly target the app to women. Men like to be flexible too! Otherwise, I love it! I’m not sure if I’ll actually be able to do the splits in 30 days, but it’s only day 8 and I am seeing many unexpected results. My chronic back pain is on vacation👏, and my hips don’t creak and crack as much when I walk. The app is super easy to understand because of the animated illustrations, videos, and additional instructions.

  30. Lisa Luna dice:

I have only used this once, but it was really nice!! I am so tight I highly doubt I will be doing splits in aonth, but I really like the app. There is a little picture that shows you how to do the stretch during the rest in between each stretch, a count down timer to let you know how much longer on that stretch, and a voice instruction with a tip basically, to tell you how to do the stretch. Something like keep you back straight or point your toes to help you to do the stretch correctly.

  31. So far (a week into it) it’s a great App, even with the advertisements. For me, it’s like having a personal trainer at home. It’s also like having an exercise partner waiting for you (having the reminders set up), which is great since I need the motivation. I like that the exercises vary so that you’re not doing the exact same exercises everyday. It keeps me interested in seeing what’s planned for the day.

  32. Stylo G dice:

I completed the whole 30 days on the beginner level, and j still can’t do splits. My flexibility has improved, however. I don’t blame the app for my inability to do them, because I may not have always had the correct format and I had many days between workouts. The app introduced me to many exercises, and its an app I enjoy.

  33. Great app for doing the splits it shouldn’t be too hard for you to do the splits. Very easy (if you do the beginner spot) but, I am seeing progress. It says there are ads and there are but, they aren’t really effective in any way. (Most aps have ad after ad ect.) I would give the app 10 stars if I could.

  34. I absolutely love this app! I’m almost 43 and it’s always been on my bucket list to be able to do the splits and I’ve never been closer than I am now! I wasn’t even this flexible as a kid! I just finished the 30 day beginner level and am now onto intermediate. I could never even bend over to touch my toes before and now I can put my palms on the floor and fold almost all the way in half! I’m not able to actually do the splits yet but I’m way closer than I was before I started using this app and I’m DEFINITELY more flexible! I’m going to keep going and *fingers crossed* hopefully fully be able to do the splits eventually! Also, the app itself is very simple and easy to use and is also just pleasant to look at (I also love the little “cheer” every time you finish a workout!)

  35. I’ve seen drastic improvement. Beginner is difficult. Keeping back straight to stretch hamstrings is difficult when the picture assume you can rotate your hips to 90°. It feels bad to be leaving backwards to keep back straight while stretching hamstrings, but it works! The app could offer more ways to track improvement, such as measuring improvement by using triangle calculations.

  36. Matt G dice:

This app is great! (Just finished day 1). Im in martial arts, but lost lots of flexibility in 2020, & am trying to get back to where i was physically. The app leads you with little animations that even show transition movements, which I’ve only really seen on ads for paid apps so far. Im so glad this is free, because i would not have downloaded it otherwise. When I used to try paid apps, I often dislike the user interface, so I feel like i wasted my money. Im looking forward to the next 29 days!

  37. This app is great for any level of flexibility. Also ads in this app are minimal. It usually only shows you a five sencond ad after a session. I found this very useful and easy. I definitely reccomend this to people trying to do the splits, or just people who need to stretch out their muscles. It also tells you how many calories you burnt during that session. Each session is about 15 minutes long, so it doesn’t take up too much time. ☺😃

  38. This app is great because it helps you learn new stretches and it’s very well made. You can even make your own stretch routines!! I’ve literally only been doing it for three days and im slready so close to the splits. I cant wait to see what a month’s training will do! I highly recomend this app if you want to give the splits a whirl. Definently try it out.😉👍

  39. This free app is amazing! It’s easy, fun, and it is teaching me alot of simple, good stretches. I can almost do a split, maybe in about a week I’ll be doing them. The 30 day thing, I believe it will take much less time fo me, as I am 10. I’m very interested in this app, and my two-day experience has been wonderful. I totally recommend this app. ☺️

  40. I like that you select a level to start at. It gives great fitness tip reminders during the workout. I am already almost flat again in my front splits and I’m on day 11 so it is obviously working. I look forward to the workouts and I’m enjoying the progress I’m seeing. I liked that it syncs with Google fit as well. Now theyjust need an app for flying poses like crow. 😉
