Worst app ever. After ID verification, the app tries to show ads which we have we can skip for another 14 days if we click the box on the lower left corner. However, after clicking, it stopped and errored there for 2 times already.
Just purchased a New Phone to install and use the app. Sadly the latest version requires face detection which (in this case) will not work if you have abesrd.I’m notgoing to shave too! Rubbish app. Can not be used on a tablet (needs phone connection) absolutely useless.
REMOVE ADS from this banking app!!! There are unhideable ads on the main screen and ADs that popup when you start, this is horribly bad design! We use these apps to perform banking functions, and we pay for it in fees. Putting ads everywhere only slows the app down, it gets more bloated and slower to load with every update, and makes the user experience worse. Give us the option to permanently remove ads or do us all a favor and make that the default option.
App ran fine until recently. Now, I’m prompted to uninstall “apps2sd” due to Next app deeming it “unsafe.” Uninstalling it temporarily fixed the issue, but now Nova 7 is flagged as unsafe, preventing Next app from starting. Next app advises installing only from Google Play Store, although both apps were from there. Bank’s interference is exhausting. Transferring funds to a bank that prioritizes banking, not app choices.
Absolutely awful. You can’t login again on a new phone or factory reset phone without being asked to do a face scan that always fails. Contact center is clueless. I ended up going to a branch and they set me up as a new user again and it currently works. As of April 2023, the app now won’t work unless I disable Bitdefender, Link to Windows and Microsoft Launcher. Apparently they are threat apps. Ridiculous!
This app is extremely slow. Also, if you ever change phones the only way to reactivate the app is by using a facescan system that does not work at all. Then you will be required to go in to a branch which means you will waste at least 2 hours waiting in line to talk to staff who do not really care about listening to you or who cannot even be bothered to speak loudly enough to be heard. Absolutely do not recommend this app or Krungthai bank.
It always shows Not Responding. We could either Wait or Close the app. But when I chose Wait, the app works fine. It always pop up every 30 seconds. Really annoying every time I’m going to transfer or scan for PromptPay. I consider to move to another bank app with more stability.
I don’t get it. On previous phone it worked normally. But on a new phone after few seconds app is crashing. Without any visible reason. Only force stop and many attempts to open it (about 10) allows me open it eventually. Please fix it. It’s unusable at this moment.
Ever since the update the app refuses to do anything. It just keeps asking me to uninstall/disable all my apps with the accessibility permission. Just because there are accessibility apps that use the accessibility permission on my phone. Those apps are useful and in my case, necessary.
jun23v12.6.1 fixed run normal on Prcess of FaceScan, it is really Something PLANNED!! Mar23 version Freeze30sec each time. Pls fix it urgently. The earlier like v. 12.2.9 is very Fast and Stable. On my android 13 and 10, 11 . Tested.
Just done the latest update and it tells me it will not work with my virus protection software unless i verify it at a bank. I went and to the bank and let the staff sort it out, but it still will not work.
The pop-up ad makes the worst, generally this app was really great and it ran smoothly without the pop-up ad, please remove it and use somewhere else for advertising

Some functionality is not available (error 80000). Tried to reinstall the app and now can’t login into it, service is not available (error 80001)
Always error and couldn’t capture face registration then crashes leaving you behind hopeless. Not really recommended.
As with all foreign reviews here, the app is very poor if you have to reinstall onto a new device. Don’t bother trying to go through the ludicrous face recognition it just eats your data and then rejects you. Only way to resolve (this from memeber of staff – thankfully a competent one) is to go to the branch with passport and bankbook and re apply for the banking online… Also, on one phone or tablet for the app…not across several…lol I’d give it zero stars if I could.
Don’t start anymore after last update. Try to force me to delete a system app of MIUI. But that’s not possible. So from now nobody with Xiaomi phone can use this app anymore. The bank knows about this fact and they tolerate it. “It’s a security feature not a bug”. After 10 years I have to change the bank like hundred thousandths others. Good work KTB! Thank you for this amazing security feature! You are very intelligent.
This app has been getting worse every update. It now doesn’t work if I allowed some of the apps, that I paid for, to have access on the Accessibility settings. The pop-up ads whenever I open the app doesn’t help too.
Such a horrible app. I can’t use it to scan a qr-code or transfer money cause it always shows a mistake, and now I can’t even reinstall it cause the face recognition doesn’t work. It’s not a game, it’s a bank app which is really important, how can it be so horrible? At least I have another bank, or I’d be caught in many terrible situations
App freezes at start up every time, even with high end phones. Please fix this.
This app crashes a lot. A lot of delays when using… I’ve been a user for previous versions which is ok. But latest versions are very buggy. Almost unusuable. Please have developers take a look at it!
The worst idea is that users disable Eset Mobile Security and Bitdefender Security to unprotect them from malicious websites. Your mobile banking app has an insecure design vulnerability because Block Eset and Bitdefender have taken control of accessibility for malware attacks when accessing a malicious website. My antivirus cannot get through to this part of the system. The malware will attack my Android phone directly without anything protection. I will transfer all of my money to other banks
Really? Are you going to force me to uninstall 3 other apps because I’ve given them accessibility permissions, just to use your app? It’s not even enough to revoke the permissions from the other apps, I need to F:ing uninstall them? I’d rather switch banks and uninstall your app than uninstall my favourite home launcher, a trusted password manager and the app from Asus that makes my external screen touch capable.
Very slow!!! The interface design doesn’t feel cohesive. All buttons and ads are scattered all over the place. The redesign ruined this app.

Every update and it keeps getting worse, I couldn’t use the app anymore no matter what I did. Uninstall and reinstall it, factory reset my phone, clear cache and data? Nothing work!!
The KTB NEXT APP NOT worked anymore after update to 12.4.1! I needed to uninstall NOVA LAUNCHER & SAMSUNG LEVEL. FURTHERMORE I needed to disable the “NORTON 360 SERVICE” under the ACCESSIBILITY menu to start the NEXT APP. NORTON 360 is an ANTIVIRUS and MALWARE PROTECTION that should not be disabled! So only if i let my security down the NEXT app starts. GREAT PROGRAMMING in the year 2023! SAMSUNG S22 ULTRA / ANDROID 13 / ONE UI 5.1
Facial recognition scan is not working. Holding still for 20+ seconds is impossible and at some point I was even able to use a photo(!?) as that was easier to lock down any movements, just fails. It goes green, starts showing all sorts of colors during scanning and then returns, flickers green one more time and asks either for: can’t see your mouth or get closer.
I did face scan for a hundred times to login but it always said error code 2000 how can i do with that? No foxing? I’m still in the problem
Just give me a proper reason on why the heck to I have to disable Microsoft Authenticator just to use this app. If not for the case that work kind of forced me to use this app I would just outright close my account and delete it.
Awful experience. Every time I try to register I have to go to the bank because the app can’t scan a face. Third time now.

The worst app I’ve ever come across. I’ve already gone thru all the steps of identification and verification check, even at the atm machine. But when I was going to finish off the loop on the app, I’ve to go thru all the steps right at the giving consent page! Then, going through the same steps again and again. And now the app said it couldn’t find my phone number!!! I’ve gone through this many times, and still can’t get thru. I had enough with this app and going to remove it!
since last update, the app was horrible. too slow to enable popup ads, and is affect to shut the app before i can login. so now i cannot do any transaction.
Can’t access the application because your application detect the anti-virus program as a threat and force you to remove it before you can access. But I think the phone without anti-virus is more vulnerable to threat and risk.
This app used to work great, now it is requiring me to remove a system installed app to continue using it. My only option is to close application. The app is completely unusable at the moment.
the app request full access to your phone and list of apps, and once it detect the build in screen shot or recording. its block you from open NEXT banking app. if you called the customer Service, they will advice you to switch off phone for 10minute and reboot, but it didnt work, app still block. i do hope the CEO of KTB understand that you had discontinue your web-based online internet banking, and focus on banking app only, by applying blockage feature on the app, you had block your customer
I hate it! It’s hard to register. The face recognition cannot easily detect the face. I patiently follow all the instructions but still cannot register!!!
register account yesterday and they give 5 updates to the apps within 24 hours and each update produces more headache than another. Ask to turn off accessibilities to apps such as lastpass, prey and to uninstall all launcher & ebook readers before we can use the apps. Just plain stupid.
