BikeComputer Pro is possibly one of the best apps for cycling. The Pro version contains all the features you need:

✓ No login, no account necessary. All data remains on your device unless you decide to upload it. BikeComputer Pro is completely ad-free

✓ Quality from Germany with personal email support

✓ Support for Ant+/Bluetooth power meters, heart-rate, cadence, speed and temperature sensors

✓ Share your activities via Strava, Komoot or other training platforms

✓ Import Strava & Komoot routes

✓ Easy route setup : create a route in a few steps

✓ Recalculation when you leave the route (BikeComputer Premium necessary)

✓ You can use multiple offline map files simultaneously

✓ Synchronisation – plan a route on your tablet, synchronise and use it on your mobile

✓ Turn-by-turn instructions : the app indicates you when to make a turn on your route

✓ You can load turn-by-turn instructions also for imported GPX

✓ Rotating map : the map follows your direction to have the upcoming area always on top

✓ Audio Feedback – BikeComputer Pro informs you about your average speed, the current elevation, the remaining distance on trail, your climbing speed, your heart rate and training zone, when you have lost the actual trail and other information

✓ Import GPX tracks or POIs and follow the track of a friend on the map

✓ Take photos or set waypoints during your ride

✓ Use the barometric sensor to achieve exact elevation change data (if your devices features it)

✓ Modify the resolution of the offline map and the font size of the driving values

✓ Plan your route! Touch the map where you want to go. BikeComputer Pro will calculate a route with distance, elevation and elevation profile for you and will save the route to follow it while riding

✓ Adjust the GPS sensitivity as you want, which means you can determine in which intervals the GPS values are refreshed

✓ Arrange and setup your session values as you want and the app saves this order

✓ Additional driving values as number of currently used satellites, accuracy of the GPS signal and the direction according to the GPS position

You can import your sessions from the free version as well.

If you change your phone, backup your session to SD card and restore them on the new phone or use the synchronisation!

  1. I love this product. I just signed up for Premium, not because I wanted it but because I thought the developer’s deserved some more money from me after using the app for the last year. It turns out that I really like Premium as well. It has a lot of small things that add up that you aren’t told about before you have to subscribe like lots more statistics including gradient and bearing. I do have two questions on Premium: What does the “Autonomy” statistic mean? How do I recalculate the route when I am off track? I bought a holder for my phone on the bike that has a built in battery to keep my charge up. That really makes for a good experience. Thanks for an excellent product. It does what it says it will, I have had no problems with it.

  2. i used the free version for a year. kept forgetting to upgrade! pro is nice and shiney, and no ads! this program accomplishes a lot for very little $$s! Gives me a lot of options in a good format that the others didnt. I rode my bike over 3500 miles last year, so I’ve really put it through the paces. easy to quick manipulate while biking, maps are awesome!

  3. I have been using this app for a year now, mostly for biking. It is a great app with all the features of an expensive bike computer. The battery use is the best advantage of all. It will last my three hour ride. I did upgrade to the pro version, but the price was worth it. I have it paired with two sensors, cadence and speed, and it is working well. My only wish is to be able to edit my route online using a larger screen.

  4. The app could be the best bike computer app and is the reason I bought the premium version, unfortunately it has two main problems for me: 1. The sensors reading are not very stable, I have cadence, speed and HR sensors and their tracking is hit and miss while they work on other apps 2. Turn by turn navigation does not work with arbitrary GPX files but has to rely on grasshopper that always changes the route for me. For me following a predefined route is very important and this inhibits voice.

  5. Refuses to run unless it can track your location 100% of the time. This is unacceptable. GPS tracking while using the app should be enough but they want that sweet sweet data to use and sell.

  6. I have had excellent results with this app. It auto paused and restarts after a break without interference. Other bike apps have locked up. Monitors my battery and gives me reports on batt usage.

I am running BikeComputer Pro on a Nokia 6.1 phone and prior to that ran the free version for a couple of years – it was so good I upgraded which ran perfectly for a year until yesterday (13 July) when both versions stopped recording my sessions. Has something been changed to cause this to happen or am I missing something? The only thing I changed was to enable audio feedback. I’ll give it the top rating when it works again! Good reply from Robert so have upgraded my rating!

  8. This is far and away the best bike computer available for android. Great mapping and accurate satnav directions. All my sensors sync’d without issue and having all GB map available offline means I can use an old phone without a SIM to preserve my “best” phone and it’s battery. I love the ability to customise and order the stats screen. Just one small setting I’d request; Map Off (full screen for stats). For training rides where I want more stats visible when I know the route already.

  9. This is just brilliant. It does look complicated but it is not. Easy to set up and use. I use it for commuting to i9work and back. Good to check on my times to see any improvement. I am experiencing some niggling issues. 1. The app sometimes is unable to find my location. 2. The logging with Google fit has now been fixed. Thanks

  10. Probably the best all round cycling computer app. Or it used to be – a change last year made it hard to upload new routes

I’ve been using the pro version for years now, and I’ve just added a new category, besides cycling and walking, which is tracking my electric scooter rides! 😜 It all works fantastically, and on the scooter front my idea is to work more or less work out the range I have. The app may be called BikeComputer Pro, but I think it’s more versatile than just that. 👍🏽

  12. App is almost perfect so far. Things to improve: I dont like the intransparent premium purchase offer after buying the pro version. Makes me feel like a stupid customer. Yes, information may be somewhere, but well…. Second the session stops recording my gps coordinates when screen is off on redmi note 7, this is a bit annoying.

  13. The maps are terrible will not show any terrain imges off road. No satellite imaging available and no plan to add it. you can’t zoom in very much the graphics are poor. Free apps with adds have satelite imaging. I know 5 or 6 dollars is not a lot, but I wich I could get my money back and Donate it to charity or something. Update: Satellite maps “ARE” important to me. You do not need to know why!. And your app has no options for refund,

  14. Worth every penny. Takes some getting used to… theres a lot here which can be confusing to start. that said… Syncs with most popular tracking / route apps. Allows upload / download of GPX routes. Position, speed / avg speed, distance, cadence, HR, climb and so much more are tracked. Indispensable on a recent three day bike tour. Highly recommended.

  15. The app has potential but the one thing that makes it from a 4 or 5 star to a one is that I was riding my bike as usual and for no reason the session decided to stop itself and as a person that likes to keep track of speed and distance and so on this has really caused issues for me

  16. Everybody could benifit from this app. The overly detailed map and sunrise/set info alone makes it a lifesaver in higher alts. 5★ right there. Then it does this bahzillion other things while easily uploading to many other services. I’ll never use half of what the app offers but that’s plenty enough. Plus I can choose to log on strava or not. I can keep track of bike rides/maint. on several different bikes easily via two options. 5★ for the best cycling app I’ve ever seen. Thanks

  17. things to improve: 1. maps are loading very slowly and are not clear. 2. In review of your journeys you have some statistics, but map is virtually unreadable. you’re unable to see your journey on the map. 3. No purpose for entering your home address if can’t choose this address as destination.. 4. no way to simply enter address and be routed there. so basically I returned to Google map…

Works very well. Is occasionally cranky about finding offline map. And sometimes can’t find me if I’m not moving. I have have also been able to use this to GPS map trails and export the files! Just have to adjust the spacing on the readings ’cause im moving much more slowly than on my bike!

  19. Developers responded quickly and provided great service. They fixed initial issues quickly and everything was taken care of within one day and the app has worked great with all my bikes and sensors ever since. I have used this to replace all bike computers and have been impressed with it’s function and utility which have far exceeded the performance of equipment I had used previously.

  20. Have been using this app for cycling for a number of years now and am completely satisfied with it. Used customer service once, and they replied to my email within hours and sorted the problem. Can be a bit fiddly planning a route, but probably more to do with my fingers!!! Very useful downloading gpx files for organised rides, and Devon C2C. Excellent value for the money, highly recommend it. About to change android phone now so hope transferring data goes smoothly.

  21. Update: Very responsive developer! Fantastic app. Captures everything I’d want, comparable to dedicated units costing hundreds of dollars. Very configurable and accurate tracking. Easy route creation. Would like option to export .fit file.

  22. With the pro version I can pre-plan and save rides on a map, right on my phone. Planning rides has allowed me to ride through neighborhoods, and get off busy main roads. As I ride with my phone mounted to my handlebars, I can see where I need to go as well as hear riding instructions. Below the map on my screen I can see up to 9 configurable statistics including how long I’ve been riding, how far, and my average speed. Rides are automatically uploaded to Strava. Better then Garmin devices!

  23. Great app! I have been using this for a few years and pretty much love it. Sometimes it gets a little wonky with the GPS and shows me riding across the Chesapeake Bay (and that is the phone’s fault, not the app), but not very often. Overall this is a great bike computer at a very good price.

  24. Good app but has a few issues. Battery usage is very high so I cant use it on rides much over 30 miles. Data integration with Strava typically changes stats from what was recorded.

  25. Just came back from my first ride and I love it! I live on a very hilly island so I am not concerned about watching speed. I left for my ride, started on offline map and after a 2 hour ride the data acquired was fantastic – great stats. I highly recommend.

  26. Katjpat dice:

One of the best and most complete bike apps that I have tried. Works great for me.

  27. Mark dice:

Does not pickup my sensors, even after installing Ant services. Worked on my S10, but not on Moto One 5g Ace.

  28. Very bad experience, wanted to follow GPX route but it is too hard. It never follows the route, GPS location stays far from the route and freezes randomly. Time and money waste, very unreliable.

  29. I’m new to using my bike as a stationary, and this app is functioning perfectly as my default bike computer. The connectivity to sensors is seamless (speed and cadence), and this app offers everything I need to track and build on workouts.

  30. You’d be insane not to put this app in your toolbox. It does everything a cyclist wants to do! Seriously, create a route on your phone, import gpx files, export gpx files, upload to Strava (with a title! No one else does this! Not Strava, not wahoo, not bryton). Kudos all around for this app.

  31. terrific. Good for both tracking history and as a cue sheet replacement. I have just a little experience so far as the latter and will try to update later.

  32. DD dice:

Reset? Resume? Quit? BUT NO Save Session. Somehow the devs made Saving a session incredibly confusing and difficult to do. Go back? No, I don’t want to resume. Unbelievable bad interface and outdated maps. Requesting refund.

  33. Super useful and accurate app. Does basically everything my bike computer does, including ant+ hrm and power meter. Only downside is that it is limited by the battery capacity of my phone.

  34. Having problems after I break for a couple of seconds to minutes, doesn’t start all the time even when I click on resume even shows the time is working. Lost a lot of my trips because it misses my movement🤬

  35. this app is hard to use. the screens load up very slowly. I cannot work out how to draw a route to follow- maybe you can’t do that. the video tutorial is useless.

  36. not as great as it looks. I purchased and installed this app thinking a paid version would have superior stability etc. but boy was i wrong. when i got home i got an error saying my gps crashed and it stopped recording my route.

  37. I’ve been using this app for a few months now and I really like it. It meets all my needs and has stopped me from buying a dedicated cycling computer. In addition, support when needed has been terrific.

  38. Best route tracker I’ve used yet. Highly recommend. Never let me down. Details are precise and really usefully. Tried the free version and upgraded. Been using this for a few years now, and being honest should have left positive feedback ages ago!

  39. T C dice:

Great app. Has all the info I need + the ability to hook up a range of sensors. I personally use a heart rate sensor.

  40. R P dice:

Really complete, customable and intuitive app. Easy to use and never had a problem with it until now. 👍
