Ups and downs with this app. It definitely is a good app. I use it to make YouTube and TikTok videos for the most part. Problem is all the bugs and variety of songs, effects and materials. Also the bugs and constant crashing is chaos when making a long and very edited video. I have to constantly restart in some parts or delete it. Also when I finally export the video a lot the time I get blank parts when the screen is just black where my video supposed to be.
This app has all the bells and whistles, and it runs great, but there are major limitations. For example you can only have 100 clips. So that doesn’t mean 100 imported videos. No, every time you make an edit it counts as a clip. So 100 edits means 100 clips. Which is unsupported. I don’t know where the line is, but additionally every time you open the app it spams you with five notifications saying “save 50% by buying” ETC. I pay for this service but I am cancelling the service because of this.
Tried to start something new today, only to find that the audio doesn’t work for the imported clips or any other imported music or sounds when trying to preview/play the project in the editor. Just silence. It will export projects with audio fine. I can also listen to previews of the clips/audio in the file select browsers. Anyway this is an obvious problem because it makes syncing clips with music/sound impossible for me now. Seems to be an app problem. I have the pro version. Help please?
So far, amazing. It started out cool, and with updates it’s gotten better. Some things are difficult, like trying to scroll through your entire video, frame by frame, which is totally tedius: and you have to do this EVERYTIME you have to leave the app, which after a long time of editing the app gets a little wonky (just like a person after too much work – so I don’t get mad) so, I have to leave the app and reload, fixing the wonky-ness. Then to scroll and scroll and scroll… But awessome app!
