Pinterest is my favorite app. I like it because you can find multiple things in one place, from food to home decor. It is a great place to learn and explore. The images are mostly of high resolution, appealing to the eyes and beautifully organized. The best part part is, you can organize your collection of pictures in different boards. It never makes me feel bored and is one of the best stress relievers. I am thankful to the creators for this beautiful application.

I admit it’s a nice version of the pinterest app that’s much smaller. But I have to say that it does crash from time to time, you can’t comment in posts, and you have a harder time pinning to boards-theres no press and hold option you have to either go to the pin itself or click on a very tiny button to get a pop up asking to pin. This app is good for on the go and doesn’t take up too much space but it’s a bit worse than the full app.

  3. Away from Pinterest for a few weeks, came back and found two instead of one. Tried the regular app first and was unpleasently surprised in the worst possible way . What have you guys done to it!? Luckily I eventually noticed and tried the “lite” version. THANK YOU for keeping most of the original versions elegantly polished look and functionality intact. Please keep the lite version around it’s what brought me here in the first place without all that pretentious gimmickry of the new version.

  4. Overall pretty good, but scrolling is very annoying lately. The search bar along the top and the four buttons along the bottom disappear when you scroll and reappear whenever they feel you have stopped, sometimes disappearing again a moment later. The feed is bumped downwards frequently, making it difficult to read or click on any single post. If possible, please fix.

  5. I didn’t like this app at all, to be honest. I expected a lighter version of Pinterest as the title says but it’s just the website’s quick link. it also runs my Chrome app which I find to be completely unnecessary; I can access this version without an app at any time. I also had a lot of issues with lagging between what I click on and when it shows up. not sure if that was just my WiFi or because the app runs through Chrome.

6. Prefer regular Pinterest, but don’t have the space, therefore I settled for this version. Is functional with some small inconveniences: does not show the pop-up menu when you press the picture, I had to configure “open by default” to this app, otherwise it kept sending me to playstore every time I tapped on a pin. And when it takes me back after looking at a pin, it doesn’t go to the latest position. Sharing options are limited too, although it lets you copy and share the link.

I’ve never had any problems with the original pinterest and I read the reviews and everyone was saying how it’s myluch better, but to me its exactly the same. Its much more slow and takes a while to load. Plus you can’t add things to your board my pressing on it, you have to click on the actual board, which isn’t that big of a deal, but compared to the original pinterest this can’t compare.

  8. As a new and casual user of Pinterest this app had all the functions I need, but unfortunately it’s very glitchy. For example, almost every time I saved a photo to my board it would get stuck there, and I had to close the app to get out. This meant I lost the photo and its recommendations all the time. I’ve moved to the full app and there’s no problems, though it’s a shame because it feels busier than the lite version.

  9. This app is very good and helpful. Here you can get several different and amazing ideas on every topic. They have a very good advantage of saving and organising your choices. It is a bit difficult to understand the features of the app first but later it is very easy to use . Not only this they allow you to add your ideas as well but there is a problem that the view of your uploads are hazy to you and come in an opposite direction. To other users it might be different. Rest all ok.

  10. For me it’s better than the full version. My needs are simple, I like pinning pictures and looking at them. Fullfat Pinterest had recently started displaying pictures sometimes less than 1/2 screen size, with the rest of the screen taken up with marketing matter and the fun was gone. On Pinterest lite you see the pictures clearly displayed. An easy switch and one tenth of the data.

  11. I love that you can find anything on this app, but you can only download 1 image at a time, then you have to close the app and reopen to be able to download another image, so I have to save a bunch and download 1 at a time after opening and closing the app 10 times for 10 images. I am a teacher and I like to find colouring pages and worksheets on here, but it’s very frustrating.

  12. it’s clean, as it should be. the lack of some features is helpful — like not holding on the image to access shortcuts, or even access comments in posts. but the fact that i cant change the language, save the images directly, or even receive notifications its pretty downgrading. it should have a little more features available, i think it lacks too much.

  13. It doesn’t really work at all for me. Idk if it’s incompatibility with my phone, but every picture takes minutes to load and everything I try to do just takes way too much time. It’s a frustrating experience :/. I’ve tried on data and three different wifis, so I really don’t think that’s the issue.

  14. When I downloaded this app , in the start it was all good except the glitch l experienced. But after a few days the app wouldn’t open . Also another fact about this app is that it automatically opens chrome which is quite irritating. Just download the ‘actual’ Pinterest!! That’s a far better option.

  15. When you click on a pin to open the page it comes from, it will never open the pages, there’s always some kind of error. You can only download a pin once & then never again unless you restart the app. If you follow a pin & then try to go back it takes you all the way back to the start of your feed. Everytime I get asked to rate it , it lets you click the stars & then kicks you out when you try 2 write. The only plus is that it’s the lite version & it’s using less data & space otherwise it sucks

  16. Ehm… I didn’t know this was basically just a redirect to pinterest’s site on chrome. Now every single entry is flooding my history. Nice. Also creating and deleting boards (+managing them, creating sections, cleaning it up by sorting) is all messed up and impossible to do on pinterest lite. It sucks, just download pinterest or let it go.

  17. I seems like it’s just a shortcut, it opens in some browser. I can’t share from other browser by clicking share. With this much effort I suggest you to just place a shortcut of the website on your opening screen or whereever you want it. I feel like it will give you the same experience. Actually its not that bad, but its really weird, couse I expected an application to open not a browser.

  18. Just a waste. Just use Pinterest. It automatically opened from Chrome. And said. cannot load the page. The page to login I cannot find anything. I re-installed and checked but it didn’t work out. I really don’t know why it opened from the chrome and says cannot load the page even when my network is fine. Very fine. I thought of restarting my phone and did so but didn’t work out. Didn’t workout. I’m so disappointed.

  19. pretty much the same as the original version. There are no such features where you’re allowed to hold an image and then swipe them to pin it. It’s kinda lag (?). And please fix the dark mode because it’s a pain, i can’t see the letters because they didn’t turn white like the original version.

  20. How is it that all th ed ” Lite ” apps work so much better than the original?? This is beyond my expectation. Never had a problem with it, it’s been almost 2 years now.. it has all that I’m looking for examples would be crafting, nail 💅 and hair ideas I’m looking for. Highly recommend this as app..

All this “app” does is run Pinterest’s website through your existing browser. Not really sure what the point of it is. It only works as well as the default browser you already have (and I’m a beta tester, so it’s too janky). Going back to the full app. I’d be interested in a light version of the Pinterest app if it wasn’t run through my default browser.

  22. I love Pinterest. Though I have to say, this app tends to crash. And it’s hard to make a comment under pins. In order to comment on anything, I have to do it through the ‘Pinterest’ app on my computer. This app did crash quite a few times as well. Please fix this.

  23. Topaz_13 dice:

When I try to add a pin to my collection it takes 45 secs because of lag and after that the videos stop working. Your also not able to veiw the amount of likes shares and comments on any of the videos. + You can’t comment on anything. And when you scroll to reset the video above you it just pauses where it left off until you scroll back. And you have to watch the entire video over again to get it to reset because you can’t pause or set to a certain time in the video. Pretty disapointed. 🙁

  24. I am fond of using pinterest app, so I’ve thought of using the lite version. This app is very glitchy, there are times wherein I’ve already clicked the “download” button but the image wasn’t downloaded.

  25. Straight to the point: Better than the original :> Why you may ask? Cuz the original doesn’t let me enter anymore but not only that it threw me out more than you think. You may be thinking it’s probably my WIFI or my phone is bad , but rest assure it’s not because of that and I don’t have any problems in other apps nor games. Or it could be the app doesn’t like me 🤣. But this app let’s me search for the things I like and without any problems so it’s a 10/10 for me .

  26. This app hasn’t been working at all for few weeks. Nothing’s showing up in my feed, that’s strange. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, disconnected and connected my internet and done almost everything I could to see any change but it’s not working, just a blank feed

  27. It’s more comfortable than the full app but there are a couple of glitches that need to be worked out. For example, every time you exit the app (without closing it) and come back it puts you back at the top of the page and you have to scroll all the way down again. Also you cannot visit any of the original sources for any of the pins, it always shows you an error page. If these glitches were to be fixed the app would be ideal

  28. This app is entirely useless. This is not a ‘lite’ version of the app, this simply uses chrome or it’s own browser to open the Pinterest website. Certain core features actually force throw you into the full app if you have it and returning from anything always sends you to the top of the page. So using it on a smaller or older device? Just bookmark the website and you’ll have the same result.

  29. Benny dice:

Really slow and glitchy but it gets the job done. Lag is really bad. It constantly runs my crome app and you can’t watch videos after like the second one. It’s basically just a glitchy quick link. 🙁

  30. Update-problem fixed itself, loving app Installed Pinterest Lite app, repeatedly tried opening the app. The app keeps telling me to open the app…which I’m already trying to do…Also, the app confirmed one Google account but actually connected to my other Google account I didn’t select or approve.

  31. I luv finding my crochet projects. So many cute & nice things hard to choose from. Top it off with the recipes to choose & pick from. You can get lost. What ever you are craving, by hum you luv to follow, just learn new things in cooking you will find it here. You can even learn to make identical recipes without going out to eat or go out to buy. The fun I have at creating doubles.

  32. I like the idea of the app but it keeps directing me to the full app when I want to save something to a board, which makes no sense to have this app. I gave it 2 stars because I like the idea and the simplicity of it but it doesn’t function like the desktop or the complete mobile version.

  33. I had the original app, but read that this one doesn’t use as much storage and is overall easier on space. Does the exact same thing as the original, but is extremely annoying. It lags bad, freezes, won’t stay signed in when app closes, will randomly make me sign in after I’ve been signed in and using it for several minutes and is overall slow. It’s suppose to have less storage, but acts like the file is too big for it to process anything. Going back to good ol’ reliable, never using this again.

  34. It’s just the mobile website. I don’t mean it is just like it, I mean it is actually identical. It even tells you that Pinterest is better with the app (Yeah the irony). However, I’ve never had any problems with it. It just works and it is lightweight but you can just replace this app with a shortcut to the Pinterest’s mobile website and have an identical experience.

  35. Exactly the same thing as Pinterest, only it doesn’t take as much of your data apparently. Either way, you’re still surfing so I don’t understand that in the slightest bit. However, I do recommend downloading this if you like Pinterest and you think you’re saving on your data by downloading a lite version.

  36. This is actually a very honest rating. Pinterest is a place full of funky, weird and wonderous pins which helps people to expresa themselves and their personalities through making boards. You can message your friends and exchange pins! Pinterest is full of beautiful pictures and aesthetics which you will, no doubt, be able to give the most aesthetic presentations in class. You can find so many people just like you! my Pinterest📍: mariam 🙂

  37. Nice app! Would still recommend using the non-lite version (just my preference) but it works just as well as the other one. If you’re tight on phone space, this is a great option. I’d prefer if it was slightly more user friendly, since you have to do lots of navigation just to download 1 photo lol…but it’s still a great app! Thanks, developers☺️

  38. Works great for low-bandwidth situations when you are stuck using a slow connection. The missing features are frustrating if you are used to the normal app. It would be great if there were advanced options to turn image-downloading on or off.

  39. MV C dice:

This app cannot swipe to page through pics. It’s a schlep to go in and out of the pictures. Uninstalled. EDIT TO ADD::: More than a year later and this app is still a tedious experience. 1.Everything is huge! 2.No swipe options to flow through pictures. 3.The app is buggy/laggy/slow. I am flabbergasted how THE MOST IMPRESSIVE platform’s got their name associated with such a bad product. Pinterest Lite should be scrapped – it’s garbage. I’m ashamed on the behalf of Pinterest. Uninstalled. Again.

  40. I think tHis app is rather impressive ConsIdering the amount of memory it uses as opposed to its MUCH bigger sister. It is incredibly slow but it’s a small price to pay for breaking my good phones as often as I do and having to switch back to my VERY outdated phone I use between phones. The only functIon I’ve noticed missing is the hide conversations option. All in all I’m imPressed
