As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces “sight words”, the most commonly used words in school, library, and children’s books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word “dog” as a barking dog, and the word “up” reach for the sky!

** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words you purchase in the app. **

Features:
– 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase.
– Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way.
– Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition).
– Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

  1. Good app. It says single letter phonics. For instance, this might confuse a child that is learning ‘three’. As they are putting it back together the ‘t’ and ‘h’ are sounded out seperate from each other, rather than together to make the ‘th’ sound. So, it doesn’t do phonics blends. But it’s good for recognizing words by sight and learning letters and letter sounds.

  2. Love it!!! My 2 year old is OBSESSED with this game! My only complaints are: 1. There aren’t more words available 2. The example sentences are the same each time for every word We got the full package for level 1 & we’re about to get level 2 but we would still like more words, even at the cost of another package. And could there be an update to mix up the example sentences somehow? GREAT game tho!!! Update: Customer service is above & beyond!!!! Thank you so much!!!

  3. This is one of the best apps ever, I’ve used it for years now. My only problem is recently every time my kid plays it on my Google pixel 6, the screen zooms in and it only fixes itself after I restart my phone, but then it does it all over again as soon as I open it and my child starts using it again. Again, this app is amazing! But Idk what’s going on 😀 lol

  4. I truly cannot say enough good things about this app. Our son was born with apraxia of speech (a motor speech disorder, where the mouth/tongue muscles are weak and receive no signal from the brain). Kids with apraxia of speech often have reading difficulties later on, so we included this app not only as part of his speech therapy to learn how to make individual sounds, but to also learn to recognize the letters of those sounds. It was used as a ‘reward’ during his speech therapy sessions and he couldn’t get enough of it! The characters are soooo cute and funny 🙂 As adults we actually had fun doing it with him day in and day out!! We ended up buying the full extended pack and it was worth every single penny – to us it was a small investment for something so important. He is now in Kindergarten and not only has almost totally overcome his apraxia, but his teacher said he’s WAY ahead of his peers with reading and language. I can’t thank the creators enough for the difference it made to our son – the love that went into making this app is obvious! Thank you so much!

  5. My two years old loves this app! The phonic component is great and I love how there is a sample sentence for every word that includes the other sight words. A suggestion would be to make a way for the child to record their progress, say when they ended the app at letter ‘k’, it restarts with ‘k’ or ‘l’. This way younger child don’t have to struggle trying to find the words they want to work on again. Also, a tracker of progress would be useful for parents.

  6. We started using the Endless Alphabet with our son when he was 2yr old ,he is now4. He has all the learning apps by Originator and is way beyond his classmates with vocabulary and eagerness to learn. We turn our Wi-Fi and cell phone to airplane more and let him play while shopping or eating at restaurants. He loves playing them and he is learning in the process. We especially love the numbers. I wish they would come out with a math game. He is so ready to do addition and subtraction at 4 yrs old

  7. I have used originator apps for years. Having 24 grandkids. This is a great app for recognizing letters, sounds of letters and learning words. I start them at 2 years old. By 3 yrs old they are whizzing through words♡ The only thing that I would change with the app not allowing letters to be put in wrong order. Teaching children to spell English words from left to right. I find that so hard to teach them when the app lets them put the letters in where whenever they want

  8. I don’t have enough positive words to express my appreciation for this app and creators. I have a 1.5yo and an 8yo and both of them absolutely love this app! And it’s so simplistic that my little one can navigate it on his own. What’s even better is that it doesn’t have annoying music or phrases that get stuck in your head so I happily play along with them! I even had a small issue but customer service fixed it same day! I will definitely purchase all of their apps. Sooooooo worth it!

  9. Both my kids have autism (one with advanced speech abilities, the other with significant difficulties with communication) and BOTH were reading before Kindy (entry age 4yo) because of this and other Originator Endless word apps. They both adore them all! I thought I couldn’t get it to update the purchased levels (the complete pack was a birthday gift) on a second device but when I reluctantly went to buy it again, it recognised my Google account and updated without a second purchase. PHEW!

  10. takes long time after purchase to be able to use on diff device. very creative app. it rewards kids by turning sentence into short story scenr with every success. it makes reading to him very interactive. my son repeats the game a lot to watch the animations. this app is dangerous on mobile data. i installed it on wifi and went out to the store. when i opened it in store it downloaded almost 1 gig data, or $10 worth on my plan. it does not preload the animations until after open!!

  11. my three year old immediately loved this. after a day or two i had to download the whole thing! i had some issues when i tried to buy the levels separately…they never did download…so i went ahead and got the full package which showed up right away. my little boy is already putting together sounds and words.

  12. My son loves the app and plays often. I just dont understand why as soon as I bought more words now his tablet freezes everytime he plays the game. It is very frustrating. I installed it on my phone as well and the same occurs. This app is amazing I just need the issues fixed!

  13. Lovely, entertaining, original characters and presentation of words. I struggled to install the purchased pack but it seems that as soon as you switch the primary storage on your phone to internal instead of SD card, the download works perfectly. My son LOVES this app!

  14. Here’s why the 2 star. The content is useful but, it doesn’t engage a child very well. The constant repetition should in theory work. I find that it’s just a “going through the motions” way with minimal learning. All of this content is on YouTube for free. I’m not amused at the $30 spent on this. For that price I would expect access to everything including math. You barely get anything here. This was a rip off. Don’t waste your money. Go to YouTube.

  15. Worth the $ for full version! And i never buy apps. My 3 year old loves this. She is behind in her speech and It helps her sound out letters and words. Very fun to play and watch. Not full of ads or nonsense. Love it!

  16. The “Endless….” Apps have helped my kids learn many basics to several subjects. This app is a great addition especially if you feel screentime should be more learning because (my) kids feel like it’s a game and not a class, but learn A LOT in the process. Highly recommend!

  17. Yoni Lavi dice:

My kid loves it and has gone through all the words, but I wish there was something more. In particular, I think it would have been cool to have some kind of “advanced” mode – perhaps removing the voiceover at the start, and letting the kids try and identify the word themselves before then hearing it after assembling the letters?

  18. This app is amazing. I got it for my daughter after Endless ABCs. At 17 months old, she already knew all her letters, upper and lower case, all thanks to this game. The full package may seem expensive, but this kind of quality education, coupled with a MASSIVE amount of fun, rewarding visuals, is worth its weight (or uh, megabytes) in gold. My only complaint might be a lack of “child lock” , but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.

  19. Rin Enny dice:

Total waste of money. I paid for the full package, but when I click on the level 2 and 3 options, the screen says, “Loading..”. Been doing this for a full year. I am only leaving this review since I am just about to uninstall to free up space. We are using an android tablet.

  20. I’m giving this one star not because my daughter didn’t love it because she absolutely did, but because if you want to buy more than just the first five words, you have to buy it on EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF TECH your child uses. There is no account or registration functionality to this app to be able to link the purchase with an account and log in on a new device. My daughter uses 3 different devices occasionally depending on the situation. That’s 12.00 for EACH device. That would be 36.00!

  21. I give it a 3 star because this app is definitely helpful in teaching kids to read, dont get me wrong Both my kids were able to read before they were 3. BUT I just wish i was able to transfer purchases to other tablets. I have 2 sons and I bought the whole $30 package and realised that I couldnt use that package on the other tablet. I’m sorry but that’s a little too expensive if you ask me…I guess they will have to switch off. 🤷‍♀️

  22. Kerah B. dice:

Very engaging app. Exposes kids to a lot of sight words. Easy for kids to navigate. We love the repetition of letter names and sounds. Overall, great app!

  23. i purchased these for my computer on windows…and they want me to buy it again for my android tablet, and then yet again for an iphone. at $8.99+ per game thats $27.00+! Dont even waste your time! I emailed them and explained and they said I had to re-purchase for each platform! Most developers will credit you once you have paid for them once…what a shame I kind of liked this game, but not for $27.00+

  24. It lets me get all words without even buying! Thats very great! Another thing is this app has no ads like some other apps I have. Best app ever! This is better than any spelling app. There is funny adventures like “here” for example. I hope this never gets deleted.

  25. I thought this was just a fun educational game for my son to have quiet time but he really can read thanks to this app and the spanish version too! He can read and recognize all the words he’s learned from the app because they turned it into a fun and silly game. Worth paying the money!

  26. blue8309 dice:

I purchased all available words and have no regrets. Only improvements I see are to add more words but more importantly highlight each word in the sentence so it helps improve reading.

  27. Very limited and useless unless you spend $30 on more letter packs. the game only comes with a through f with the rest of the letters being visible but subtly blocked. clicking on these letters takes you to a different screen where you can buy letter packs. If your child accidentally clicks on one of the letters you haven’t purchased, it’s difficult for them to get back to the free part. instead of learning about letters my son learned about deceptive advertising and overpriced in-app purchases

  28. I bought the entire pack for level one and the new words just sit there saying waiting for download. It’s been a day now and nothing has changed……… Update – So it took a day to load, but finally did. The comoany was quick to respond. So If you ever have any issues, email them, they get back to you right away

  29. Alan Day dice:

The app is great but if you purchase packs it doesn’t allow you to use that purchase via the family library so can only be used on my own phone and not the kids tablet setup with family link. Google could fix this but so could the developer by releasing different downloads rather than in app purchases.

  30. Not having a family library option is unexceptionable for an app aimed at children. it’s the most expensive app I have ever bought but because i bought it on my phone instead of the phone my kids use, i flushed that money down the toilet. Adults aren’t playing this game kids are and only for about a year, so give it family library access. Until they do dont buy this app.

  31. NEEDS ability to lock out levels. Purchased levels for my son as he learned. 2nd child naturally selects levels she hasn’t mastered, leading to overwhelm & ZERO learning progress.

  32. My son like the game but there’s a problem 1 you need to buy the all the level 1 to 3 levels 2 my son likes to buy the levels but I think this game is fun and he got learn in this game so I gave it 3 stars so please fixes this problem. Thank you☺️

  33. Lord MooX dice:

Originally installed on child tablet. Went to purchase and unlock all the levels. App seems to be “locked” to the original child account. Even after an uninstall and a reinstall under my account, when attempting to complete the in-app purchase, it defaults back to the child account, which is not the account under which I want the license to be listed. I guess we looked for another alternative. Update: clearly the company didn’t read the review and just posted a boilerplate response.

  34. This is the cutest app for my 3 year old, I never by apps ever but I bought this one. I should be logging into work right now but instead I clicked on this app instead of my login for work so I can play a quick word and they asked me for a review, which I also never do but this app is so worth the time and money!!!

  35. J L dice:

I bought levels 1-4 back in 2017. My kids told me they lost those levels and now I can’t get my in-app purchases back so they can use the app levels. No response from support for over a year after contacting them. Not happy at all.

  36. It only lets you use level one only if you pay but other than that it is fun but all the levels in level 1 are not available also make sure that you have to have money to buy them thank you have a good day or night if you’re on if you’re about to sleep by that’s all I have to say it was pretty the apples is pretty good .

  37. I have two boys who love this game. My youngest is on the spectrum and speech delayed. He is always excited about this app. It is a window to what he has going on. He can read some words better than he can say them. He is engaged with learning and laughing the entire time.

  38. Both of my kids used this app as toddlers and they have always been very ahead with their reading. Their ability to sound out words amazes me and I think this app played a large role. Highly recommend. Thank you 💗

  39. Paid for all words to be open costing a considerable amount… Been waiting for words to download but nothing happens. Tried reinstall of application and still will not open new Paid for words… Application developer very helpful and have helped a lot, issue not application. Again a Go ogle issue which unable to resolve…….

  40. Cool Education is the best thing for all students and teachers that the students are doing great for your children as you learn from a good time to get them in your own way in order.
