Need to switch to a tablet. Too much time wasted ordering and waiting on food. Also, the curbside orders need to be more transparent. I don’t like getting there only to be overwhelmed by the size/number of items (and then having to drag them up 3 flights of stairs sometimes). Out of 1500+ orders, I’ve only ever met the promos a handful of times. They stop sending you orders within 2 or 3 deliveries of reaching promo payouts. They basically expect you to stay out the entire day.
Waste of time. Do yourself a “favor” and skip this gig. In San Antonio the zones are huge and you may end up driving 15-20 min both directions. If they don’t tip you you get nothing but $2. I drove 30 minutes to get to a restaurant and found out it was closed. I got $0. If customers placed the order first it would save a lot of trouble. As it is the runner has to place the order and pick it up. The app itself is not user-friendly at all, the scheduling is really weird and glitchy. Pass!
My complaint is the same as everyone else-the location notification. Before the update, an icon would just be there with no sound. Now, I have the option in settings to change how the location services notification pops up or sounds, but for some reason, it doesnt work. Apparently, the location notification is linked to the general notifications (new favor, tip from customer) so I cant really turn it off or else I wont know when I have a new job. Also, getting a notification that I’m in a hotspot is really unnecessary.
This app runs like normal for a while and will run slower and slower until it crashes. None of the other apps I use run slowly do I don’t think it’s a lack of memory or storage. The app screen often doesn’t refresh when I get new orders, press leaving store or stop running. It doesn’t do anything so I have to go to a different screen and back again to get it to refresh. There should really be a button to reject orders, I either have to log out and log back in or text the moderator and wait.
