Easy Pose is a human body pose app for people who draw or is learning to draw. Have you ever wanted a personalized model to show various poses while drawing animation, illustration or sketching? Easy Pose was developed for these people. Various angles of different poses can be inspected. Now you do not have to draw with a wooden joint doll or figure as a model. Even yoga or exercise poses can be checked from various angles.

1. Sensitive Operation – Easy Pose allows control over the main joints in an amazingly smooth manner. It provides multiple functions previously unavailable in other pose apps such as a highlight on movable parts, initialization of joints and manipulation state, and finding a symmetrical pose with the mirroring function. Experience controls that are more convenient than with a mouse.

2. Comic Style Models – Previous pose apps had many realistic eight-head ratio men and women, making it unsuitable for animation, webtoon or game illustrations. Easy Pose is prepared with models with various body types.

3. Multi-Model Control – A scene can be made with a made with a maximum of 6 people at once! It is now possible to make a scene of a soccer player avoiding a tackle or a couple holding hands and dancing.

4. Tens of poses that have already been completed. Poses that are used often are already made. About 60 poses have been prepared and these poses will be regularly updated.

5. Other Characteristics
– Sensitive light expression using direct and backlight settings
– Able to observe various poses at various angles
– Realistic shadows such as shadows of models being cast over other models
– Able to change the angle of view (possible to use an exaggerated vanishing point such as a panorama)
– Provides a wire mode that allows lines drawn over models
– Able to download models without the background in a PNG clear background.
– Automatic saving, making it safe whenever there is a device error.
– Able to easily control hand movements.

6. Functions Provided in the Free Version
– Model poses can be freely controlled.
– Moods can be freely controlled by controlling the light angle.
– Able to save the image in PNG. Use it when using Easy Pose with another program to draw!
– A scene can be made by freely controlling the camera distance

7. Paid Version Upgrade Benefit
– Completed poses can be saved and recalled.
– A woman (normal), woman (small), man (small) is provided other than the original model.
– Several models can be brought on screen at once.
– There are no ads.
– All “Completed Poses” can be used.

Pretty easy to use on mobile; had a little trouble on computer, though. Considering it’s meant for mobile, though, it works as intended. Only complaint is that it the bends are slightly anatomically incorrect with a lot of the poses that involve harsh turns [elbow by hip with the hand up, sitting on the legs, etc.] Would like an easier way to pose the fingers individually, as well as a silhouette / base lineart feature, though. Again, my 1 real complaint is the slight inaccuracy with anatomy.

  2. After trying 6ish posing apps, I found this one to be easiest to use for quick accurate results, allowing the most control and variation, though it would be nice to have a greater variety of models or the ability to alter their details. I had some previous confusion about versions; the bundled DLC pack does NOT include Pro access, but is still very worth the price for the huge amount of content it offers! Great job with the app, and thank you for the good communication!

Takes a while to get a hang of. There’s a panel that comes up to move the model instead of directly dragging it with your finger. You can change the lighting too. A good amount of stuff is free (you will have to watch a ad but after that your good till you close/restart the app) Been using this app for a couple of years, tried some others but this is the easiest to use for me personally.

  4. Pretty good and easy to use. Tends to crash a lot, though. No auto save feature, so if it crashes before you can save, you’ll lose all your progress. Some of the posing looks a bit odd, like moving the neck or lower back. But other than all that, this app is pretty good for making loose guides, it even has presets you can use as starting points!

  5. This app takes a bit of getting used to, but It’s really great and I do reccomend it. As an artist, this helped me out a bunch, but I do wish there was a clothing option, which there isn’t, other than the bare minimum. Another option I really wish they had is an autosave, because more times than one, I have accidentally swiped the app out, deleting all of the work I have just done. This is an great app, there is some DLC, and there could be improvements, but overall, it’s a great, helpful app.

  6. Pretty good, but missing one tiny thing I think it’d be nice to edit models proportions, I paid for premium to see If there were better options but I couldn’t find a way. You can scale thing like hands and feet, so I don’t see why we shouldnt be able to scale the waist, neck, chest, etc. Although I still love the app, helps a lot with art and is fun in it of itself somehow. 4/5 Nice!

  7. Honestly, I used to love this app as an artist and was thinking about getting the pro version, but the app keeps crashing when i’m in the middle of making a pose or scene, as you guys know even losing 5 minutes can lose a lot of progress, its been doing this on both of my devices. If it didnt crash so much like this I would definitely give 5 stars

  8. This app is excellent for storyboarding as well as coming up with base designs to build on. Lack of much body type variety aside, I highly recommend this app for anyone getting into comic drawing and would go as far as to say it perfectly covers the very first steps of designing I just wish there was a scale slider for every segment of the body and not just hands/head/feet. I think that would solve a lot of people’s requests for more body types and I think (?) implementing it could be easy.

  9. Started downloading a months ago but used it a month ago and I still liked using it enev today. Yes, there are crashes and my purchases won’t come through but I contacted and fixed the dlc problem. Also I do get used to the crashes on occasions, it’s still fun and it never hurts to start over again. Greatly recommend using it for the reference and anatomy lessons to sharpen your drawing skills.

The Pose are amazing and the editing is easy to use on a tablet. You do have to pay for most of the items, but it’s worth it. Great tool if you love to draw and need references. Also, customer service was quick to respond and were helpful on fixing any issues I had. Great app and service.

  11. It’s pretty powerful as a free posing app. The xyz sliders help out a ton for small phones and although the majority of the options aren’t available of free, you can just work around that. The only gripe I have to far is that when you load in a saved file, the camera is reset to default. So then you have to rotate to the angle that you wanted before. (The thumbnail saves a snapshot of the file, so you’d think the camera angle would be included as well.)

  12. This is the best mannequin app on Google Play. Highly detailed models, and very simple interface. The Pro version even lets you load your previous scene. I that being said, this app definitely needs the ability to load/save multiple scene projects. It’s hard to imagine why this isn’t in the Pro version. Other than that, it’s a good app with good features.

  13. I love the app a lot! It really helped me with drawings but I do wish that there were more body types on here. Like more chubby charters, and shorter ones. It would help a lot because I would have to use the fish eye view to make my characters bigger when i wanted a different body typed person. I don’t always want skinny characters. It would be a nice update or something to add, and I also wish there were more shoe options, but other than that it’s great! Please consider adding shorter and fatter characters, even if it has a bar to where we can make our characters shorter depending on the bar it would still help. Thanks! 🙂

  14. Easy poser is fairly intuitive, and does what it was made to do (provide references) fairly well. I have found it an invaluable resource as I draw more complicated poses, and have reccommended it to friends on occasion. I do wish more of the features are free, but I understand that that’s just one way to cover costs and allow for further development. Overall, great app, thanks!

  15. This app is great! There’s lots of choices of models and poses. You can very easily and precicely move the model’s body parts. At first I had a couple issues getting the pro version, but I contacted them and it was fixed right away. The devs are on top on emails because the reply came in minutes. I highly recommend, even if it’s just the free version.

  16. This app is really good for getting out of your comfort zone as an artist! You can view models at many different angles and types of lighting, offering a lot of potential for dramatic/dynamic art. The app offers a few basic free models and some that you can unlock by watching an ad, as well as some basic props for additional reference to your custom scene. Also! You can save scenes that you like in case you want to reference them again! Overall, I enjoy this app and I highly reccomend it!!

  17. I had used this app ever since it first appeared. I loved it! Then I bought the pro version on February 7th 2018 for $5.29, that was even more amazing. I had deleted the app so my device had more space and later returned to it……. only to find that I couldn’t access the pro features. I had spent $5 I couldn’t get back on something I didn’t have. Other than this flaw I’d say that the mechanics are beautiful and easy to use, as well as being a helpful drawing tool.

  18. I love this app I’ve been using it for almost a year and a half now! My only request is to be able to change the expression (Ex: Smile, frown, angry, scared, ect), and be able to scale other parts of the body for maybe a bigger character or scale the hair to be shorter or longer but not necessary. But otherwise I reccomend this app! Very easy to use and use friendly!

  19. I really love this app and it’s pretty customizable! I just wish you can shorten each body part if you wanted to, to have more individual control, like on height, breast size, how fat they are, eye shape and size, the mouth shape and size, and moving the fingers, such and such. I just don’t want to be limited to preset heights, since some of the characters I draw look different from the models in the app. Besides that, it’s really cool! I just wish we could have more customization, that’s all!

  20. This app is great for people who can’t come up with poses off the top of their head (me) or people who struggle with anatomy (me). The models aren’t perfect and distort in some poses, but with some practice and common sense its an easy thing to fix in your art. I bought the pro version on my iPhone, and when I got my new Samsung, I couldn’t transfer my purchase. I reached out to MadCat and they answered within 1 day, and resolved my issue promptly and kindly. Great app, great customer service!

  21. Absolutely amazing app! I’ve been using it for months now as reference for my drawings. They constantly update the app, pro version is awesome, the models look great, the different packs all look awesome. They respond super quickly, if I had to nitpick, it can be buggy at times, and the system for certificates can get frustrating, but besides that it is amazing. It takes some time to get used to the controls but once you do it’s a very helpful app with a deticated team.

  22. I had such a hard time drawing bodies before this app came out. It’s super useful once you get the hang of posing the character correctly. Being able to move the lighting around and being able to tilt every part of their bodies is super useful. All I can recommend at this point is a little more options for pre set poses. Otherwise I definitely recommend this app for any artist.

  23. A friend recommended this app to me and it’s been really amazing. It’s easy to move the dolls around and i like that u can place different shapes behind them to kind of get the perspective lines. The lighting option is also really helpful. I didn’t like the ads, but the pro version was not expensive at all. At first, the app didn’t register that I paid but the company got back to me within an hour and fixed it. So i definitely appreciate the great customer service!

  24. This app gets a lot of hate for needing a ‘pro’ version for things for hair, hats, etc.. I have one thing to say: THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER CREATOR This is a pose reference app. Granted, I wouldn’t mind having some more free options, but this thing is really good for making poses when you need them and have precise control, unlike DesignDoll. You can also change body shapes if you need them, although only to a certain extenr, but this is still something most apps don’t do. One thing I would like to see (or two, really) is some more free props, clothes and hair, maybe as rewards for the amount of time you spend total in the app, etc, as well as some new body types (I’m not as fan of choosing between hard-core realistic and hard core anime style, as my style falls inbetween).

  25. Honestly a super helpful app for artists like me who struggle with poses. I use this app for pose references constantly and it’s super easy to use once you figure everything out. But I wish there was more variety with the body types other than chest and muscle size. If there was a way to change the scale and size of parts other than just the head, hands, and feet, then this would be the perfect app.

  26. Used to be fantastic. I loved the ease of use and how you could adjust the shapes. The body structures were great models and graphically clear. Simplistic, but in the best ways. I had used it a lot previously, but stopped drawing for awhile. When I got my new device, I downloaded it again, but everything had changed. I couldn’t get the ads to play in order to use the features I wanted and the given ones weren’t enough to encourage me to buy more. Time to find a new app.

  27. Ray H dice:

Absolutely perfect for making poses for reference on art! My only problems are there’s been a few times that I would be posing a model and a joint would end up twisted and I can’t figure out how to untwist them, there are very few free hairstyles, and the clothes are hard to find and there’s only one outfit for girls and one outfit for boys. Please add more clothes, and some clothes that can be interchangeable between Male and female models please. Other than that, it’s an amazing app.

  28. It’s a good app for free poses. There are ads u have to sit thru to unlock certain features and can upgrade for a reasonable price. I did had an issue with upgrading this and luckily the support team kindly responded and fixed the upgrade issue. It is confusing at first but as you get used to it, it’s very useful. I highly recommend this for others!

  29. This app is VERY helpful and I can honestly say that I don’t regret paying for it. My only issues are that it is unavalable for the pc (which I understand is being worked upon, i think), and that there aren’t truly too many customizable options for the models outside of the presets. Apart from those two things, that I personally see as improvable, I absolutely love this app!

  30. Nexlyte dice:

It’s a pretty good app. Easy to pose, and works well for simple drawings.. mainly because you have to pay for a lot of the props. I can’t really do much. One thing I was really looking forward to though was the guitar prop. I had a great idea even! But none are free, not even with ads.. I understand some things you have to pay for, I just wish there were a few more prop options for people who can’t buy that stuff. Maybe if there was an in app currency? It would be a lot more helpful

  31. Overall it is a top grade product. It’s useful for helping me improve my drawing overall. The one caviot I have is there is no way to restore your previous purchases. I had the pro version then I upgraded my phone and it will not allow me to access features that were available previously. The support staff were fast and helpful. They fixed my issue right away. I’m upgrading to 5 stars.

  32. For a free app, its very useful. If you are an artist and need some assistance, this can help you. I’ve only used it to draw once or twice, and I intend on using it more. I only wish I could have more control over the Model’s body type, such as making longer arms or legs (cuz Waluigi) or making larger muscles. That may be a part of the pay to use bundle, along with more props and animations, but its a good app nonetheless. Just beware, its a little clunky getting used to.

  33. As of writing this, this app has 3.9 stars, and while I think I know why, I don’t think it’s deserved. Yes, the controls to pose the models can be a bit fiddly and time consuming at times, but for an app, they’re done as well as they could be. I also saw some complaints about watching ads to unlock things, but I don’t see this as a problem; it only takes 30 seconds to unlock many items FOR FREE, and it supports the developers. Overall, this app has provided everything I could have asked for.

  34. There should be options to customize the characters in clothes without having to use a costume and completely change the facial expressions. This isnt exactly what I need because of not having those options but I personally found the controls for posing easy to use. I do wish you didnt have to pay to get so much stuff, there was better prop options, and you were able to have more models at once though..

  35. It allows you to make specific poses much cleaner and easier than other apps (Like Magic Poser). Although you may have to watch a 15-30 video for some poses, almost everything is unlocked by doing so, so ads aren’t intrusive at all. If other pose apps are giving you trouble, I highly recommend this one. On a side note, it would be nice to be able to scale limbs and body proportions, it does not advertise that you can do that, but it’d really help with more diverse characters.

  36. I don’t think it’s really the BEST app for character design, likely due to its tendencies to take you to chrome any time you even merely touch the ads. It was really annoying when it started doing that, and every time I opened the app it gone black and then went back to chrome. To get any of the good things for posing you have to buy Pro or a pack. I think this is really annoying. Of course its not repetitive ads over and over, but I DO think that you should consider actually putting some of the poses and hairs up instead of having to buy Pro, then having to buy a bunch of packs. Please take it into consideration, and fix the ad thing please. Thank you.

  37. After using the free version for a few hours I happily upgraded to the Pro version. I do wish there was a color wheel instead of pre-set colors. More clothing options with the ability to mix and match would be amazing. Pre-set facial expressions or the ability to adjust facial expressions manually would make this app even greater. A cleaner, more optimized user interface would also be appreciated. Great app overall though!

  38. I would like to clarify that this is an amzing app if you know how to use it. I see some complaining that the joints twist “like a plastic bag”. To fix this, you can choose a joint preset so the joints do not look messed up. Some also say the anatomy is off… but this is anime styled, so I don’t understand what else they want. Just the free version alone is great and gives you plenty of freedom. I love this app, keep up the great work 🤗

  39. This is an awesome app to use for drawing reference. I’ve tried a few others like Easy Pose but this one definitely has the most options as far as different types of characters, costumes, props etc. I had an issue with one of the add on packs I purchased and they were super fast to respond, and while it took a couple emails back and forth for their support team to realize the issue I was having, once they did it was sorted out immediately. Most definitely recommend.

  40. i love working with it, it has helped me elevate my art a bit more. I however can’t alter the eyes as much as i would like, they’re static to the set positions and would love to be able to roll them around, i also would like to be able to alter the mouth so i can get better with drawing that as well as being able to enhance or diminish the hips shoulders, bust, or gut to open more drawing options. not to mention adding humanoid animal models and larger frames.
