  1. This is a good app for transferring files from one device to another. It’s better than clone phone transferring ability apps such as Samsung Smart Switch because you can select in a customized way just what you want to transfer from one device to another. You can select individual files, a folder with files, and files of a large size, and the transfer is considerably fast. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it’s a good app once you understand how to use it.

  2. This was the slowest transfer I ever attempted. And it relies on the internet so I don’t know why they say it doesn’t. And a 2 gig file and an estimated transfer time of 15 minutes; except for the fact that the countdown stalled for most of the time, causing me to give up after 20 minutes of “downloading” while the timer sat there stuck at 14 minutes.

  3. Almost worked. Transfered a few files then couldn’t connect. Not sure why it needs location access when it looks for devices on the same WiFi connection. It doesn’t transfer apps and data just apk’s and even then, if it isn’t in the right folder it won’t install. I wanted the data not a new install. Update – transferring between two android phones that are sitting on the table in front of me. I was hoping that “app transfer” brought all the settings and data… nope. Reinstalled, still no luck

  4. Awesome App Of Convenience. It doesn’t get much better than this fellow homosapiens, especially for a free service. Not too sure about the privacy aspect, but if you’re moving files among devices, this should be one of your go to options. Works excellent, especially if you possess a fast connection. There are multiple ways to transfer also, by link, or directly to devices registered. I’m very pleased with this application. Keep up the awesome work, can’t wait to see how this app evolves.

  5. This app provides a variety when it comes to transferring data and files. It performs as you would expect, although I have recently came across a concerning issue, in that when I send an album from my PC to my phone, some songs from that album won’t make the transfer. It shows that they sent from my PC, but when I check the history on my phone, they’re missing. Same when it comes to receiving pictures, some are left out. This app used to work perfectly but not sure what happened as of late. I hope they pick up what they seem to have left behind.

  6. I absolutely love this app because it’s the one of, if not the only app that can easily transfer any files quickly and easily between all of my devices (I use Android, iOS, Windows, and MacOS) while maintaining all original properties and their full quality. Sometimes I have issues getting my iPad’s history to refresh, but it’s not even worth losing a star. I highly recommend to everyone and I’ve put several clients and friends on it as my go-to for quick transfers.

  7. Android file transfer just up and bugged out on me, forcing me to look to other apps for file transfer to and from my phone, obviously preferably ones that don’t charge. I’m taking one star off because it was a little difficult to find out how to send files directly from one device to another- (I had to disable a couple things on my phone in order to do it) But very efficient, in fact, it is better than android file transfer in several aspect. Definitely recommend.

  8. After using it for a couple of times, too much advertising which interferes with using the program. This program is not worh using for me. I have no problem with advertising, you need to do that so you can offer free use of your hard work. The issue is that, your adverting does interfere with the functionality of your program. My original review was 5 Stars. There are many great programs with adverting that have no interference with the functionality of their program.

  9. I tried it once. It didn’t work. I attempted a simple file transfer of six .wav audio files from my Android tablet to my Win 10 computer. 7% of the way through the app failed and crashed. Whatever caused the aborted transfer was never known. All I got was “Error” — if there were any explanation of what had gone wrong I would have tried to fix it on my end. But this was a one-and- done.

  10. Tried other apps that work with http protocol, but this one is much easier, and no clunky web interface to deal with. The UI is streamlined, you can even send directly to another user/device by selecting the person without entering a code on the device. I haven’t tried the wi-fi direct yet, as there hasn’t been a need to do so, but there is an option. There is a PC version that’s avilable from the Dev’s website that allows transfers of files to and from computer to your android devices as well. This solution is very well rounded. I even upgarded to remove the ads in the app.

  11. the only app that I can use to send pics and videos to someone’s iPhone. This app is great, and I hope it becomes better and has better updates. there’s literally no way to send to an iphone otherwise. its 2019, sending from device to device should be with a tap of the screen. instead we’re stuck in a corporate war, that makes interaction between things really hard.

  12. Great program. No problems so far 🙂 I do have concerns that the number used for downloading could be hacked. It would be nice to be able to verify/ok the download once the request comes in. So, I send the link, the request comes in to download, then I ok. I send financial documents and that would be terrible if they were downloaded by someone else. So far, I love it!!!

  13. Not sure how it works but love it. My tablet never would let me bluetooth anything and this works perfect, faster anyways. Same thing with PC. Super easy to use, just open program on both devices, select what you want to tranfer and you get a code. You don’t even have to point to where you want to go just enter the code and you can download.

  14. Sadly, one of the best apps I have ever used simply no longer works. App no longer allows me to transfer images from my phone to my computer–every attempt ends in an failure/error. Devs say it’s a server error–bottom line is the app doesn’t allow transferring of images from one device to another, and is therefore now uses. Used to be one of my highest rated apps. I hope they fix it.

  15. This app does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m just happy to FINALLY have an app that I’m able to send/receive VISIBLE videos from my Galaxy Note 9 to/from my husband’s iPhone without them looking like 💩 poop! The one thing that I will say is that it helps if both devices are connected to wifi when transferring large files, otherwise it could take an hr+ to send. So if you’re sending multiple video files without a wifi connection, send them ONE at a time & it won’t take near as long.

  16. So far I’m amazed. Fast and actually works. Unless some surprise is waiting around the corner I absolutely love this app 💥Had to go back and confirm that this app is incredible. I bounce big video files back and forth between my two phones and my computer all the time. It’s FAST with no bugs that I noticed. The ads (still pics) are small and interesting to look at for the one or two minutes I have to wait.

  17. Casey C. dice:

Did not expect this app to be as good as it actually is. I use it between an Android, iPhone, and PC laptop. It absolutely works between all three platforms and is ridiculously fast. You’re not limited to your internet speeds, just whatever your Wi-Fi network is capable of, which is usually far faster than the internet speed. Ads are not too intrusive either unlike other similar apps. Bravo.

  18. FLLOYD dice:

I love this app. The best file transfer app i have ever used. So easy and fast ! I paid to remove the ads, totally worth it. I highly recommend this. Love it. The only problem i am having is that the ads are still on my desktop version. Only a little annoying …. but annoying. UPDATE : Once you send something to your phone , line music, you need to move it to the proper folder, like Music folder, because the sendanywhere folder disappears and you lose the file.

  19. Goodbye apple airdrop! I use two phones and two different computers for my jobs, and this app does everything I need to transfer files! As an artist it was pain to keep hooking up cabls beofre this app. extremely easy to use, but I can share all the types of media from text files to photos to Applications! I absolutely adore this the application has several ads, but they are hardly intrusive. even if I had to pay a dollar a month for the web services I would, it’s just that good.

  20. The most easy and simple way to quickly send files between devices and to friends! Since I started using it, I totally skip out on options like dropbox and google drive. There’s often no need to store data I am sending between devices on the cloud, nor do I always want to “login” on both devices, or go through the process of generating a shareable link. This app is perfect for avoiding all those inconveniences when one wanta a simple data transfer. Send-anywhere has never failed me. 5 stars!

  21. Definitely worth getting. So much so that I’m going back and signing up for the Plus version. It allowed me to take an older app, whose installer was long gone from Play Store, and install it on a new Android phone! Unbelievable. I would NOT have bet on that. And the best part? The transferred app WORKS! Perfectly. Obviously this would not work across platforms (Android <-> iOS) but data files might. Haven’t tried that yet. Bottom line … GET IT. It’s seriously worth it. —B. Ogburn

  22. I was having issues backing up larger videos (over 500mb) from my wife’s iPhone to our windows computer. I tried another app which was ok, but only sometimes converted them (unplayable). And it was limited use before becoming a paid app. Then I found Send Anywhere. it is like magic. besides solving my original problem, we now use this app to transfer files between multiple devices (iPhone, Android phone, Android tablet, windows 10 computer, laptop). This app handles them all and it’s very fast!

  23. Got a new tablet running Android. Used Send Anywhere app to transfer 1.6 GB music. Worked perfectly and quickly. The transfer was from a Samsung Note 9 to an Onn tablet. I’d like to have a way to clear the history on the app rather than “Don’t Show this Card.” but that’s pretty minor. This was easy to do, fairly intuitive, and I’m impressed. Time to recommend it to family members.

  24. Simple & fast. Send whatever you want to another device. Very user friendly, straight to the point, & fast! The only “catch” (if you want to look at it that way) is the receiving device has to also have the app downloaded, but that’s how the whole process is as simple & easy as it is. One person clicks the send button, the other person clicks the receive button & next thing you know, it’s transferring, possibly already transferred & done! Great app w/ amazing speeds! Thanks Devs!

  25. I personally love this app. Me and my friend send videos to each other, but we have to cut the video because we can’t send the whole thing. But with this app we can just tell each other a 6 number code and get the video or file! I tried other apps but none are really like this! It’s simple and useful! Plus it doesn’t require you to download other apps, give you tons of adds, or force you to put any strange wifi connections! I will recommended to my friends if they need a app similar to this!

  26. Kiran B dice:

It’s tough to be the only Android user in a group of friends with all iPhones. Since my Google storage was running out I had to send photos from my phone to my friend somehow and this app worked perfectly! With a reliable WiFi connection I was able to send over 2GB of photo files in less than 30 seconds! All photos transfered in original quality too. It was exactly what I was looking for! Great app!

  27. The best thing since… I don’t know when. I have a Windows PC, a Chromebook, an Android phone and an Android tablet. This allows me to easily – and instantly – transfer files so I can work on my images and documents without having to faff about with uploading to the cloud, waiting for the files to become available, and then downloading them again. I would happily pay good money for a premium version of this app as the time it has saved me has been priceless!

  28. i was having problems transferring some of my files from one phone to another as they were not files that Verizon’s content transfer app could transfer and i couldn’t back them up to the cloud and neither the old phone nor my new one used sd cards. this app was the solution to my problem. this is the BEST solution for transferring files that can’t be saved to the cloud or transferred through other means! this app is amazing! it makes transferring files quick, easy and simple. highly recommended!

  29. It actually does, what it says it does. I transferred hundreds of pictures and videos from my old deactivated metro phone, to my new Sprint S10. Free of charge, and in only about 10 minutes using wifi. Most of the other transfer apps I checked out required two of the same service phones or devices. This was waaay easy to use as well. 10/10 from me. -Sif

  30. Good app, but it has a few issues. 1.The transfer is canceled when the screensaver kicks in (after figuring it out, I had to disable the screensaver). This should be fixed. 2. The estimated transfer time is fluctuating wildly, from a few minutes (a lie) to several hours, also a lie. To make it more entertaining, the estimated time on the PC is substantially different from the same on the phone, at the same time.

  31. This file transfer app works very well. However, it is insecure, because it requires you to let the program through your firewall. You are sending your file to a server in another country. How do you know the file is not being accessed by anyone else? I decided it was more secure to send my files to OneDrive (Microsoft) or Google Drive, and then download the file to my other device. How do you know that your are making yourself susceptible to ransomware? Again, the program worked flawlessly for me for the few times I used it before I thought about the security issues. The owners of the remote server are most likely honest, reliable, and trustworthy. But how do you know?

After getting a new phone I realized some apps and data did not transfer from my old phone but did exist in part on my tablet. After trying SideSync and one or two similar apps it became obvious that my phone would not connect to my tablet. As a matter of fact the only app that worked, and work very easily, was this Send Anywhere app. If you’re having problems transferring items don’t waste your time with others just use the Send Anywhere app!

  33. Yes, it has ads, but for $5 there’s an ad free upgrade. That’s fair. This app uses Wifi Direct if you turn it on and your devices have the capability. This is SUBSTANTIALLY faster than normal Wifi. This app also allows you to send entire folders easily. I’m uncertain if the file tree structure carries over, but I can live with it because the speed, options, and ease of use. Thanks, Devs.

  34. App was amazing being able to constantly send files between my PC and phone. Strangely however, about 2 months after I started using the app, it has began to just not be able to send the data from my phone to my PC for whatever reason. It will begin and then just slow down to a complete stop. My internet on my phone and PC are both reaching 5G speeds. Edit: added another star because the devs replied within an hour of me posting to try and help. Didn’t work however, as it still downloads slow :/

  35. This app solved a big problem for me dealing with photography. So far all I use it for is to move files back and forth between my smartphone & laptop. Every previous file transfer thing I tried was a nightmare to use. Within a couple of days I was so impressed I paid for and there’s very very very few apps I do. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and have had zero problems or complaints.

  36. They claim you don’t need a net connection to send & receive. Every time I try to send the the phone right next to it, it says “unstable internet connection” and it won’t send. It doesn’t matter what I do or how I alter te settings. I get the same message every time. It also cannot see all my files. I just used “Nearby Share” by Google. Worked immediately, super fast, and it was simple. Just a couple of clicks and I had a problem free transfer every time.

  37. I’ve used this for almost a year and had great experiences with it. Videos are sent in the quality they’re being recorded in and sent fast (based on your internet or network connection and speeds). I like that you can edit videos and/or combine videos to make a large single video file. At this point I’d recommend this app

  38. Absolutely stable app on wireless. Not the case with best-rated app.I share only with myself between PC and Android. Fabulous history feature. Indentifies recently captured and modified files. I send images created on PC to Android app that is superior in finalizing the image. Then I send the finalized image back. Has doubled the number of files per hour in my pipeline. Ads are interesting. I actually follow a few. Not intrusive or interruptive. Thank you for that consideration!

  39. I have been using this app to transfer files for years between Windows, iOS devices, and Android phones. Very easy to use the 6 digit code to initiate transfers. I am not sure how secure it is to trust it to send anything super sensitive or private. For transfering pictures and documents it is a great app.

  40. I’ll give it two stars since it works wonderfully with the windows app, but my problem is the horrible ads. If you purchase the ad free version in the app, which I had no problem with, it only removes the ads in the app. The windows companion app has clickbait articles with disgusting photos popping up when you transfer and half the window is advertising premium which is $5.99 monthly and is the only way to remove the ads in the windows app. Really disappointed since it worked well.
