  1. Storage was my main concern and this is a great solution. Everytime I use it I find new things. I am older and some things are more difficult to navigate. But I recommend this picture saving service to friends all the time. I save recipes, travel photos, art ideas, and of course, friends, family and moments to remember. Who has time to go back and look!!!!? But all are there if I do.

  2. Since I already pay for Prime, it was a no-brainer to switch from Google Photos. There isn’t much storage for videos, but I save those to a hard drive, so no big deal. Most options are very similar to Google Photos, which made the switch super seamless. I love that I can share a family vault with my parents and they can see those photos as a slideshow on their Firestick TV screensaver. I do not like that if I create a video using Amazon Photos, I can’t download it to share and must use a link.

  3. Great app! Lots of options on controls like privacy, editing, notifications, etc. It’s not annoying. My favorite feature is that with the memories that pop up, if there are times/people/experiences that you want to avoid for whatever reason, you can easily control that. I find it exceptionally helpful. We had a fire almost 7 years ago. My 2 young kids and I were in ICU for 3 days for smoke inhalation. I have pics of the damage, but I don’t need them in my face every January; so I turned them off

  4. Update : Still can’t rotate my phone to view landscape photos. This is the most basic feature that works everywhere in the phone, but no longer in the Amazon photos app! New update doesn’t show which photos are still needed to be uploaded, but only after they have been. The photos also cannot be shown on landscape mode! It is more difficult to find albums. Someone needs to fix or will cancel the subscription.

  5. This most recent update is so frustrating. This app has become completely unusable. Takes me 20 clicks to find who I’m sharing photos with and to find albums. There is nothing intuitive about this app. Please bring back the ability to delete photos from Amazon photo and the device at the same time. The navigation is absolutely horrible. Even though I have selected not to send to family vault, it still does. PLEASE restore the old app, and go back to the drawing board on this one. HORRIBLE!

  6. The latest update sucks. The redesign is confusing and not helpful. For one, I’ve lost the ability to remove photos from my phone if I remove them from photo app. That was useful so I didn’t have to go to multiple places to delete the same photo. Then adding/delete to an album doesn’t seem to be working. It looks like its doing it but I don’t see it in the album no matter how many times I’ve gotten in and out. There’s so many annoyances with this ap I’m considering uploading my photos elsewhere

  7. Terrible! It used to be acceptable until November 2022. The Good: backs up all my photos with zero effort and included in my Prime account. The Bad: everything about the user interface. Cannot view on landscape mode. Can only multiselect in gallery mode, which means that you can only do important categorization on thumbnails. Any action for any photo takes a minimum of three clicks. All of this means that managing your albums, deleting bad photos and sharing with friends is a lot of effort.

  8. I used to have a better experience on Amazon photos. There has always been frequent crashing but now it’s worse than ever. The update has ruined many features that used to work fine. For example, I look back at some of the oldest photos on my gallery but anytime I want to open a photo for a closer look, it opens the wrong photo and the app reloads so I have to scroll all the way back down and try to find the photo I wanted to see.

  9. Wow, this app went from 5 stars to 1 star with the recent update. The interface is now terrible and most importantly, you have to select each individual picture for upload. So if you go on vacation and take 125 pictures that day, previously you could select all the pictures by selecting the day they were taken. Now, each picture has to be individually selected. So it went from 1 click to 125 in this example. No way to get around it. Can’t believe amazon allowed this in their app.

  10. Val Perry dice:

These are my cons. Had to switch back to Google photos. When adding items to albums it reverts back to last photo taken instead of taking me to the photo I was working with. It’s hard to find pictures based on date. There is no way to search for pets like Google photos. I like the app I like the unlimited photos. With something as important as memories there needs to be more features and easier ways to navigate pics without starting back to the very beginning each time I hit back arrow.

  11. I used to love this app! Now it’s basically unusable. It’s so bad, I had to switch back to Google photos to backup my pictures. Which I’m very limited on for storage, so I have to back them up with a lower resolution. 😞 That really sucks because my Prime membership comes with unlimited photo backup at full resolution, which is an included benefit I absolutely love! But the app has an awkward Ui now, that’s NOT intuitive at all, which makes using it difficult, and very frustrating!

  12. Lastalas dice:

This used to be a fantastic app. Now the navigation in wonky. It used to be ready to look at a date in previous years. I loved seeing how the day was in previous years. Now the year links only work part of the time, and the back and forth navigation is totally screwed up and it takes you back to modern photos and not the the previous year navigation.

  13. Update – Was a 5 star app, but removing the feature that controlled both my phone storage and cloud storage together SUCKS. I used to, for example, hit delete on a photo in the app and I’d get a challenge screen asking me to confirm that I want to remove it from the cloud, from my device, or both! Awesome! After the latest unnecessary version, this feature seems to be removed. In app controls only work for the cloud; local storage is only available in Gallery. Garbage! Roll back!

  14. Bad, not a user-friendly interface. There is no way to see all the media in the cloud and organize them as you wish. If you have one photo in one album and you want to move into another to organize better your memories now, guess what? You have twice the element, and if you delete one of them in one album, it dissappear from both albums. You cannot just create an album and upload directly to there this is nuts, the worst interface I have ever used in my whole life

  15. Jack MZ dice:

I like the app, and I really like being able to have my pictures shown on my television. That’s shockingly such a great future. And of course, I have a couple echo dots, so Amazon music meshes with it well. I’m not sure if I would choose Amazon music if I wasn’t in Amazon prime number; I’ve also used Spotify and YouTube and Google. I haven’t devoted the time to creating playlists then going through the machinations of the Amazon music app. It is what you would expect from Amazon.

  16. It’s always “waiting for wifi” on my S21 ultra, but my older S10 has no issues. Toggling metered connection only works sometimes and only for a limited time. Uploading a 2-minute HD video is impossible. Why I can’t use my unlimited data cell plan is beyond me. Update: The above is still true, and now, with the updated version, there appears to not be anyway to add photos to the family vault. I think I’m going to need to find a new service.

  17. Update is terrible. Seems like this happens often. You find an app that may not be flashy but is practical. Then they completely change things, moving things around or eliminating useful options. I think developers get lost because, since they know everything about the app, they don’t realize how much these changes impact people who actually use it. I’ll be looking for a new photo storage app that I can share photos with others.

  18. The new update doesn’t work at all. Half the time it doesn’t open. The half of the time that it does open, it freezes. Haven’t been able to look at my pictures for a week. Nor have I been able to even upload photos. I never had any issues before this giant revamp recently happened. Hope they undo the update…. this new app does not work.

  19. I don’t like the new Amazon photos at all. Photos from text messages no longer download into photos. If I didn’t have Google photos, I would not be able to view and print. It’s almost as bad as the new Amazon music, which has deleted quite a few free downloads disappear. They have replaced apps that worked well, with new apps that are overwritten.

  20. I would give this app 0 stars if I could. Latest update doesn’t fix that issue. It’s hard now to add photos into album for entire day. I have to select each photo individually and if I have couple hundreds that’s a huge pain. Please add back ability to add photos into album based on date photos were uploaded or taken. UI is not intuitive to navigate.

  21. Unknown G dice:

New update has made this app useless. Can’t tell if you’ve already uploaded a picture. Can’t edit photos anymore, can’t upload photos directly into albums anymore. UI is terrible. Amazon really took big steps back. Update: The latest update to correct the previous updates issues didn’t help much. UI remains worse while functionality is lost. Still can’t do things such as upload photos from your phone straight to an album. Lost ability to tell which photos were already uploaded or added to albums

  22. melanie u dice:

Amazon is a good alternative to Google photos, but with a couple of reservations: (1) you can only add captions when you share a photo – not otherwise. (2) when you edit a photo, it doesn’t give you the choice to EITHER save a copy OR replace the original photo. It’s forces you to make a copy, which is annoying. Otherwise, it’s pretty reliable and fully featured

  23. Rapter dice:

The app just recently updated, and now it sucks. The UI is awful and exceptionally unintuitive. It’s confusing to find what you want. Also, even though I have all options checked to upload everything using data, it’s not uploading unless it on WiFi and I have the app open. Before the update I would have given the app 5 stars. I’d change it if Amazon fixes these issues. Device:Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Software:VI8

  24. Jason C dice:

While the new interface is much slicker then the old one and doesn’t confuse cloud vs local, it makes manually uploading and creating albums tremendously harder. Before you could select all the photos from a day at once. Now you must do them individually. So just now I had to manually select 100 photos twice – once to upload and once to add to the album.

  25. Last update ruined the app. The app was more useful before. You could see which photos were uploaded with the little cloud symbol in the bottom corner of the thumbnail. It is also harder to find your albums to view them as well. All in all, it is much more likely you will have duplicated photos.

  26. Newest update is HORRIBLE. Everything loads incredibly slowly. Tapping my “on this day” notification no longer opens that section, it just opens the app in general, so then I have to wait for the first page to load before it gives me the option to view my on this day section. If I full screen an image in that section & then go back to the photo list, it takes me all the way to the top. If I delete an image, it takes me all the way to the top. Also ugly. Wish I could revert to previous version.

  27. Loved this app back in September/October but now I can’t find the “folders” I transferred from my device, now I have to look at each and every photo vs the system I had set up. The disorganization of trying to find a folder is mind boggling. The update really took away from the value of this app.

  28. Latest update has ruined an app that wasn’t broken. It is no longer possible to tell the photos that have been uploaded from the photos on my device. The blatant attempt to induce me to use auto upload leaves a bitter taste that remains across the totality of the Amazon realm. Jeff captained the ship much more effectively. I have now uninstalled, when the great minds at Amazon restore this app to it’s previous functionality, please come find me(the customer) to see if I’ll return.

  29. The updated version is really awful. There’s nothing about it that’s better. It’s confusing. Not user friendly whatsoever. I even hate the notification because it’s barely noticeable. Just idiotic to completely revamp the app when it didn’t need it. Update 12/21- I’m shocked there hasn’t been an update. As another review said, the app is basically unusable. I know Amazon won’t care, but if it’s not fixed I’m going to cancel the unlimited monthly charge and I’ll go to Spotify or Pandora.

  30. Jude Wynn dice:

I like how Amazon prime photo description is included with a prime membership. I’ve been using this for the past year and this my experience has been mixed. I think it’s generous with the storage options. My biggest peeve of this app is a lack of tools to sort your albums. There’s no sort or filter tool in your albums and libraries and that is really annoying. If the developers of this app read thIs reviews PLEASE CREATE SORTING/FILTER TOOLS IN THE ALBUMS.

  31. D dice:

I do not like this new redesigned update for the app. The app is horrible. When I go to look at memories for the day, it automatically keeps scrolling back up to the top. I’ve Uninstaller & reinstalled and it isn’t going away. It is very annoying. Half the time, it doesn’t upload my pics and hardly ever let’s me see all my memories for the day.

  32. Too many bugs since update. Can’t edit photos or rotate any longer on app. Albums titles won’t stay sorted when you want to add a photo to album you have to scroll till you find album. The sort by title does not work. Prefer older version much more. I had less issues and better reliability with Google photos. I’m thinking about switching back

  33. This app went from great to absolute garbage. They redesigned the layout, meaning it’s confusing. The app tries to sell you on stuff way more now. But the most frustrating thing bar none is that when I’m viewing all of my photos from a certain day via memories, if I click on one to view it and go back it jumps to the top of the list for that day, sometimes several years back. This means I have to scroll all the way back down and find where I was (and sometimes the thumbnails have to load again).

  34. Aes D dice:

Lots of stuff fixed, THANK YOU!! Just one thing – When I select a photo to add to an album and I see my list of albums to choose from, they are in a crazy, mixed up, random order. PLEASE put this list in alphabetical order. It’s so time consuming looking thru a gazillion albums for the one I want. I take tons of photos and I try to keep them organized. I really need this. I can’t be the only one. Please fix this for us! Thank you!

  35. I like this, however, there are some things I miss when I moved from google photos. I’d like to have an option to delete backed up photos from my local device automatically (like at the push of a button). Also i liked the previous update where you can see a small cloud icon on the bottom corner indicating whether the photo has been backed up for not. Additionally, I’d like to have a tab or something where you can see all the non backed up photos so you can upload them manually if needed

  36. Since the recent update, it is harder to use. I can’t tell where the shared information is and where it isn’t anymore. The new search is fine but didn’t add much value in comparison to understanding where and how you’re albums were being shared. It’s confusing and not very helpful now. It’d be nice if they would scrap the update and go back to the old interface where you could get things done and organized easily from your phone.

  37. Randy B dice:

The new update is frustrating, as I scroll down the photos, it constantly forces me back to the top of the page and I have to start over again. After a few times of this, it usually scrolls normally. A bigger issue is the tracker that comes with this app. Whatever “Branch Metrics” is, tries to collect my data almost 40,000 times per hour, even when I haven’t opened the app in days. This is absurd and very invasive.

  38. The most recent update is terrible. It took away a lot of functionality. I used to be able to make quick edits; no more. I could delete photos from both my phone and Amazon at once. No more. I could directly send images to people through a bunch of ways – now I have to use a stupid link. I went from loving this app to never wanting to use it.

  39. Sarah dice:

Update: uninstalling. I literally cannot find anything anymore. Nov 24 2022 The update is terrible. Its so much harder to find the pictures im looking for and really inconvenient. I liked them being grouped by the day taken and the settings and filter option being separate. Everything being on the same page makes it so messy and hard to navigate

  40. Very user unfriendly on phone. Update even removed ability on computer to upload a whole album. Doesnt show what photos have already been uploaded. No option after uploading photos to put them in an album, i have to reselect them manually, One by one to add to an album. So much is difficult to use and this is extremely disappointing. The old app had a couple flaws that needed fix but overall it was working great. Now it is useless

  41. The redesigned app coming out of nowhere was certainly annoying, but I have largely gotten use to it. The core features are fine, and it backs up photos as expected. But, PLEASE bring back the feature where when deleting a photo, you have the option to delete it locally as well. Just realized the app doesn’t do that anymore when I discovered many local photos I thought were deleted. The prompt was so helpful and a big time saver.

  42. Latest redesign sucks! Don’t get me wrong. I love that I can back up my photos to Amazon and have them available to print or share. But the redesign while good features shouldn’t be the home page! If I don’t remember where or when a photo was taken, I can’t find it. Maybe there’s a way to view all photos at once but I haven’t found it yet. Update: still hating this app! If nothing changes within a few months, plan to remove app and just use Google cloud/app ☹️

  43. Nar Whale dice:

This new update is terrible. Who in their right mind approved this change in UI? Please take note Amazon of these recent terrible reviews and do something about this. It is nearly impossible now to navigate my pictures or find what I am looking for. One gripe I haven’t seen yet is that when you pick a picture to look at in Daily Memories and then you go back, it doesn’t take you back to where you were in the thumbnails, it scrolls you back to the beginning. Terrible feature.

  44. The recent update falls short of being useful on Android. The photos jump back and forward when deleting. the “on this day” feature is clubnky at best always bringing you to the most recent photos even if you were looking at something from ten years prior. There is no way to see “on this day” in a family vault. You can not “search” in shared or family albums for photos. They should really go back to the old one. This design team has to go.

  45. Much is available here for unusual creations … without including unnecessary Templates, . .for kids, etc. They also, seem to arrange all your photos in a nice display for You … exluding all your own mistaken screen shots,,,as well..and duplicates. They allow you flexibility in this program. Much appreciated. Only wish for the the translucent look on the paint brush. Thank you, Jane. Now recently some things were altered. Everything was perfect . ..

  46. 1/10. One star is that it stores and saves your photos. -9 stars on accessing and viewing in the app. We’ve had Amazon photos for over 4 years. With the new UI upgrade, the experience is trash. You can’t replay old video, as it crashes. Also, when you need to go back to find another photo in the same year, it starts you back all the way at the top. What’s the point of having this storage if you can’t access it? Time to move on to another cloud storage. BRING BACK THE OLD APP!!!

  47. Update in 2023: loving the unlimited space and that I’m uploading my images in their original resolution. Re: bang for buck, as an Amazon purchasing junkie, there is no comparison for photo storage. However, I would like to see the interface improve in terms of navigation, for example, landing on the initial page after signing in, I’d much rather see albums than individual shots, and that my uploads automatically land in an album with today’s date. Still, I’m thrilled!

  48. When I go to the “on this day” section to see photos from years past it will let me scroll down for a moment then sends me back to the top automatically. If there’s a year with a lot of photos taken, I can’t even get to the beginning of that day without it sending me right back to the top in 2022. I use this app for only 2 reasons, photo backup (not for long since cloud drive is being discontinued) and to see the photos in my history. Fix your app functions if you want anyone to use it.

  49. Saves photos fine, but new UI is bad and doesn’t have a dark mode like any other app on the planet from a company as big as Amazon. The new UI is ugly, hard to navigate, buggy, and unintuitive. I have to click the uploads button to get to my account, the drag up on the bottom is in the way of actually using the app, and navigating photos is way harder than it should be.

  50. This app was great and the new update ruined it. Half the time it kicks me out. It no longer let’s me add older memory photos to an album. Do better Amazon. Update 1/21/23. This app has become unusable. It kicks me out. I’m unable to order prints, look through items and maybe every few days it will allow me to see memories. I’ve been saving photos with Amazon since they started it and I’m about done. I’m on the look for a different photo saver bc I’m sick of waiting for this to be fixed!!!!

  51. DIY Dave dice:

The worst app update EVER, it’s broken now! When looking at a photo and I click back it goes back to the top of the main screen instead of back to where I was and auto rotate doesn’t work any more! Also, when I add photos to my current Albums it doesn’t add them! Unlimited Photos storage with Prime but this app is garbage now! So long Amazon Photos, thanks for f@#&ðing up a good thing!

  52. Recent changes have made this app virtually useless. I want to share a daily memory photo (even getting to daily memories is more difficult than previously), but texting is not an option? If I can share, it seems to want to send a link, instead of just sending the picture file. These are MY pictures not Amazon’s. Let me do what I want. No ‘settings’ available for like a dark mode.

  53. I loved the old version of this app, but this new version has some terrible problems. The biggest problem is it is locked in portrait mode (if you rotate your phone to landscape, the app doesn’t rotate). This means if you have photos or videos taken in landscape, you can’t see them full screen! This is TERRIBLE for viewing. PLEASE FIX! I also dislike the continuous stream of pictures instead of how it used to separate by day, and you can’t see which pictures are waiting to be uploaded.

  54. Katie W. dice:

While the app is great for backing up photos from my phone, updates in the last year have simplified the interface by removing helpful features. Now when I view photos in the family vault, I can’t filter them by family member or quickly jump to a date in the past. I just have to scroll and scroll forever. And by the time I get there and click on the photo I want, it just loads a black screen and I can’t do anything (e.g., see file info, download the image).

  55. It’s easy to use. Only thing I noticed is that the pictures appear to lose some of the definition. On the screen I clearly see patterns in the clothing , in the prints it’s like it’s been airbrushed . The colors are also off a bit. Good for snapshots, but for professional pictures or larger photos I’d go elsewhere.

  56. I love the Amazon Photo storage and integration, but I don’t understand why Amazon ruined the excellent mobile app. The previous app allowed me to easily navigate multiple years of photos, but the latest version doesn’t and is broken. I used to be able to rotate photos but can no longer. When I view a single photo in another year and click back, I don’t return to the year I was viewing but get pushed to the top photo and have to navigate back. The new app is painful to use, so please fix it.

  57. Kathy dice:

Not a good update. Used to actually like this app, but not so with this latest update. Why did you get rid of so many abilities?! Select All? The ability to just drag your finger to select multiple pictures? The ability to just select a date and automatically select every picture for that date? The ability to set how you viewed the order of pictures without literally having to RESELECT it every time you open the app? I don’t really want to use this app anymore, I’d rather just use the website.

  58. I love the Amazon Photos system, but the Dec ’22 app update turned a good, usable mobile app into a frustrating POS. The old filtering options were better and more intuitive to filter by date/type/etc. The Family Vault (the main reason to even have this service) was a short logical hop with the same filtering capabilities. Now it’s virtually unusable — just swiping up and down an infinite scroll without any filtering… Not even a scroll bar! We need to be able to download from the Vault again!

  59. The new update sucks. I used to be able to delete photos in Amazon and my device, can’t. I used to have a setting that only backed up photos while charging, can’t. And instead of getting rid of the home view that displays all photos ever, rather than just the photos that haven’t been added to an album yet, they doubled down on that. I would really like to see albums treated as a primary sorting function, rather than an afterthought.

  60. The latest update completely changed the UI and it’s terrible. The older UI was much easier to navigate. The new UI has a huge bar at the bottom that hides pictures, I can only see 9 pictures at a time now I used to be able to see many more. I have my preferences set up to only back up photos when my phone is charging, and every time I take a photo or download a picture, I get a notification telling me I have new images to back up. YES I KNOW I DO.

  61. Edit: From 5 stars to 2 stars. Putting the search and filter options in the middle of the page doesn’t make sense. Every other app and web page (that I’ve seen, and I’ve worked in app and web development so I’ve seen a lot), puts the filters at the top. Therefore, since the inception of search/filter features, users have been trained to look for them at the top of the page.

  62. Since they updated it’s horrible. Recent screen caps don’t appear, it takes a day or so for them to show up, I could take 50 screen caps of the same thing and they don’t show up, but they’re all there in Google photos. Also, since the update, if you multi select and add to an album, it automatically opens the album, which is fine, but if you click back, it doesn’t pick up where you left off, it starts with the most recent picture (but not a screen cap if you took one recently.) Unusable now

  63. Jake Pf dice:

The UI is pretty doggy in my opinion. I don’t like how clunky it is to navigate. It’s not buggy or broken but it’s clunky. One thing I really dislike, is that you can’t quickly select a large portion of photos by clicking and holding and dragging your finger down to select a bunch. Instead you have to go through and click every single photo you want to select. Very inefficient. Overall I like the service though, only considering when I have a prime subscription.

  64. Was working great for the past couple of years, and now with the latest update, I can’t even figure out how to load my pics manually anymore. I don’t want to turn on autosave because I might not want to save every single thing I take a picture of. Great, I can see the pics I’ve loaded in a prettier format, but my primary use was photo storage. If a user can’t figure out how to load a pic in the first couple of taps, then its useless. UX design planning is evidently lacking in latest release.

I hate the new UI. When I view “this day” photos, a feature I love, I can no longer select them to add to my various albums! The one reason I really liked Amazon photo app. Can’t edit them either. Finding and sorting might be easier…but not worth the change. I like that I can now select all the photos for a day/year with one click. But then all I can do is share them. Totally sucks.

  66. It’s a great app and great way to back up all your photos.. but videos, videos are another story. Most of my memories are videos and the app is always sending me notifications that it can’t backup my videos due to lack of video storage (it has about 5 videos saved, that’s it!). So the storage for videos is not so good to say the least. Other than that it’s great! It backs up my photos as soon as I take them and I really like that cause my phone gets beat up.

  67. They took a great app and made it useless. I really don’t like anything about it! Why would you take away basic features like auto-rotate and the ability to edit photos. This new version is horrible!!! The old version was leaps and bounds ahead of this one. It is like you are moving backwards with this app…you can’t even download photos from text messages anymore. It is basically just storage with no useable features now. If the old features are not returned it is pointless to keep this app.

  68. Forever uploading. The uploading notification doesn’t go away. I can’t clear it, and it never finishes uploading. It’s constantly stuck. I even force stop the app, and it eventually is back trying to upload. I’ve restarted my phone, too. I’m about to turn off notifications, but it’ll probably continue to run in the background, killing my battery, as it tries and FAILS to upload my photos.

  69. Not a fan of the new update at all. It creates a horrible user experience if you don’t have it set to automatically download your items. I can get over the extra steps it takes to upload items manually, but the lack of feedback on that screen is horrible. I can no longer tell which photos have been uploaded and which haven’t. I can’t easily quick scroll by month or year.

  70. Important features removed,. UI is confusing. The photo “Edit” button is gone. So, the app just lets you put photos in the cloud? That’s not really enough to make it an app. Bring the editor back, please. The app is now useless to me. The UI seems to have been changed to be simpler, but it’s now confusing. There are random Material buttons here and there, and their use and position isn’t consistent. There’s a smile button that seems to show ads AND settings. How do I see recent uploads?

  71. This new update is horrendous. Not user friendly at all, it’s not easy to upload photos anymore or to find the photos you are looking for. The biggest issue is that it no longer shows the cloud icon on the photos you haven’t uploaded yet, so now I have no clue what I have already upload and what I haven’t. Also, when you click on upload to album, you aren’t able to select photos from your phone, only from existing albums. Pretty useless.

  72. WEISS D dice:

What happened??? Using this app used to be seamless and so convenient when you need to access your files. Now it has become more of a nuisance. It lags EVERY SINGLE TIME now!!! Also, I don’t understand why the ability to create a folder first then upload files from your phone has been removed. Now you have to upload the files first then search and select them before you can create a folder. It’s time consuming and unnecessary!!!

  73. 5 Stars! Thanks for the improvements! 4 Stars. I have 2 issues with this app. 1. It will not run or load unless I’m connected to Wifi even though I adjust the settings to “use my data.” 2. When making an album I have no way of knowing if the photo has already been added. Amazon, here’s a challenge, if you can find a solution for both issues I will change my review to 5 Stars. Looking forward to your success.

  74. Videos Are Damaged. It’s frustrating when I have to open this app just to verify all the videos I’m about to delete from my phone are actually downloaded and able to play. I have lost SEVERAL videos in this app. Somehow they become corrupted or won’t play. Precious memories are now grey screens that say “something went wrong”. What happened to them? I’m going to start shopping around for new storage before my annual subscription runs out. I can’t lose anymore videos! Very disappointed!

  75. Since its overhaul, it sucks! Photos no longer rotate when I turn my phone from portrait to landscape–and I can’t find a manual choice, like a ‘rotate’ icon. (Note that this issue does not happen on my tablet, only my phone.) A fix would be nice, along with all the suggestions/requests others have made. Please do something!

  76. No More dice:

You would think an Amazon app would be easy to navigate and have at least one good feature. And you would think it was somewhat user friendly but no unfortunately it isnt. The only thing its good for is auto-backing photo/videos. You get one star for that Lol And for cripes sake why can’t I access my photo albums? Speaking of, why is it that if I add photos to an album and then delete the original copies, it deletes them from the album too?! Whats the point of organizing them? Wth!🤯
