Great app! I think it’s a way more fun and helpful learning tool than generic “learning” tools. It’s not just for school, either. You can even use it just for fun to quiz yourself about anything, like your favorite show, or book, but I was winning a Kahoot game, and it started loading for two questions, leaving me in second place.
Used to be useful in the classroom but there are many flaws in the model now. Any content of even remotely decent quality is paywalled and even then it’s rarely worth paying for. If I make my own, my choices are limited to two kinds of games. QR codes for games expire for some inexplicable reason. Not really that good in the free version and also not worth paying for. Quizzizz it is.
Almost perfect, i just hope that at end of every quiz there is more stats shown other than just points. Showing how many correct answers i got compared to wrong answers is a good measurement especially for studying or memorizing. But thanks anyway.
Dec 2022. Started playing the game and all was fine. Six questions into it no matter what color I was tapping it would not register. I tapped fast I tap slow I licked my fingers someone else used my phone, etc. Either it wouldn’t register and I’d run out of time or it would finally take hold but I was always last. Buggy.
Over 200€ for the most expensive in-app purchases. No doubt stuff that provides advantage – like skipping an insane grind that doesn’t make any sense, except to encourage purchasing. Sorry, if the app is more like store and it’s not “in-game”, but rather used to purchase game titles; but over 200€ is still bananas. How to justify?
I would’ve given a higher rating, if it wasn’t for a certain issues. One, I find it pretty frustrating as a Kahoot creator that I only have access to 3 different type slides. It limits my creativity and I find it hard to push myself to make more entertaining and fun Kahoots. I don’t understand why we have to pay money in order to actually use the app normally. I understand they have to make money but for the people who can’t even pay them, what about us? It’s really annoying at times.
Avoid. Stupidly expensive to unlock some very basic things that are far cheaper and better elsewhere. Badly presented, non intuitive, I’m sure once upon a time this was worthwhile, but that time has long since past.
Overall my experience was really bad 😃 in Kahoot! It didn’t match my expectations when I saw the review and downloaded the app .. the problem is I created a quiz on Kahoot! I am trying to assign but it’s just an error, so many times which is annoying. I don’t know what to do. I need to submit this to my portfolio and now this is happening. Very disappointed Kahoot! Please do something ASAP!!!
Just want to give teachers a warning here. I signed up and paid the fee so I could use Kahoot freely. Since then I moved school districts and don’t have my old email. They continue to charge me for the product I do not use and I can’t login to cancel. The credit card company sided with Kahoot even though Kahoot has no way to contact them. Just a warning do not pay Kahoot any money. I had to cancel the credit card to stop the charges.
The app crashes very frequently. I tried to test some kahoots before creating one, and couldn’t finish an 11 question quiz. It sometimes crashed and sometimes did only show coloured boxes without any text on them. Android 5 on Galaxy Note3.
The lag when I try to tap the answers is killing me, inside and academically. Trying to tap an answer quickly is impossible because of the lag. Think I’m just gonna stick to the chrome version from now on.
I’m changing my review; Kahoot is really annoying and stubborn especially when I try to share my kahoots with classmates and clicks it’s privacy option, it won’t budge, always says error. I spent my time creating those kahoots now I can’t even share it for other to use! Always having the ERROR sign, just because I’m a student doesn’t mean I have to pay for your subscription so I can share it
Overall horrible experience. I tried requesting a refund on Kahoot’s website as I was charged a large sum for a subscription I had no idea about. Since the payment was charged on Google pay they directed me to google pay refund’s process. Noticed that one of the option was to contact the developer and so i did and explained the situation but I has been crickets. Really thought Kahoot would have much better customer service with timely follow ups but it’s been over 3 weeks.
It’s ok, I suppose, but for some reason I can’t save my kahoots or make changes now. It always says “saving failed” and showed a random string of letters. PLS fix this
This app is good for students, my teacher use this app for our quiz but this app is so slow, I’m always behind and it doesn’t let me answer the questions. Also it won’t even load. It’s so slow
white screened trying to join games. uninstalled and reinstalled. now it white screens trying to log in. also tried clearing cache, restarting phone, multiple times.
Kahoot sucks you have to pay to upgrade it so if you don’t pay you can’t create your own game and you know how much they cost you $50 for a game your probably gonna forget about so I give it one star i don’t recommend this game.
I find this app infuriating. I’ve been trying to log into my school account for so long now, but whenever I type in my CORRECT password it says that I need to reset it because it’s wrong. IT ISN’T WRONG, IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO PLAY YOUR STUPID APP, LET US LOG IN!
Interesting concept, poorly implemented. Appears to be designed for kids, but confusing for a savvy adult. AND too much requires payment.
Playing kahoot is fun!! I entertain my sisters by playing this game with them. They love it when I show the leaderboard and they find out who id winning.I really recommend you download this app because you know itś fun and entertaining. Sincerely, Melanie<3
I’ve upped the stars as problems have been solved now the only one that is left is the Lagg after installing the app its fine but after using the app in multiple occasions the app lagg is really bad so I have to reinstall time and time to sort Lagg
So buggy that it’s unusable. I have a payed account, here are the things that constantly make me want to pull my hair out. 1. Nothing is where it should be. I try to find kahoots that I made, they don’t show up when I click on my “my kahoots”. 2. Super buggy, get stuck in endless menu loops. A “unsaved changes” message hasn’t gone away for months despite multiple saves… 3. The main page is a garbage mess of messages telling me about things I don’t need. Please fire your UI team.
This s the best Quiz maker and playing app .We can learn new this from this app because from world wide we have many quizzes and it give us many information about the world . I have made many quizzes in this app and also played. I thank you to the creater as he/she has made very good and playful and enjoying app.
This app used to be free to use friendly but now I need to PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION just to MAKE A KAHOOT OF MY OWN? This sounds like a way to make money but it takes away from a lot of the creativity that can exist and its sad to see it from such a great app.
Really fun game for family,friends and even as a good school game.i think it is a bit annoying beacause you have to pay to have an account.but for a fun game once in a blue moon it’s a good game with many quizzes.
I think kahoot is a great platform. I think kahoot is great because it’s amazing to use with your class,family,friends, you can even just play alone! You can use other peoples kahoots or you can even make your own.

The app is very useful and has so much promise but it’s sooooo glitchy and crashes and freezes everytime I try to use it. No matter what I do, unistall, update, exit and reopen, etc. I just doesn’t help. Your’e better off using the website version. Update: 17Sep22 Still VERY buggy can hardly use it. Hard to access single player mode through the website without a personal account
App is not accepting the pin needed to join a Kahoot game. App is useless without this function. No troubleshooting option available on the app or the website to address this issue
It’s a great app, I use it all the time. However, the premium features are super expensive, spent nearly 100 euro. No monthly fees available. I get that you need money, put some ads on it!
It Great you get to costume your character and you get to have fun getting answers right and wrong it doesn’t matter because teachers and kids just play for fun
I keep trying to log back in to my account, and it doesn’t work, I click “Log in” and when i do, I’m stuck on a white screen. Can you please fix this.
Only issue is that sometimes the user generated questions/answers are incorrect and currently there is no option to flag questions for review. Otherwise, extremely fun and educational; pretty rare merger of concepts to get right.
Best game ever. Kahoot is sooooo hot and cook at the same time. I have spent over 3000 hours in this game and I have no regrets at all😘

If it wasn’t for the glitches that make it freeze in midgame, I would have given it 5 starts. Great, fun way to break the monotony of studying!
The app is cool you can do a lot of game but you should sign in and I give it 3 stars because there is a specific time for kids to use kahoot
