Wow! Just the recipes alone are worth downloading this app! Beautiful photos, simple UI, fully functional. Kudos to the developers on this winner! EDIT: After using the app and loving it for more than a year, it’s suddenly not letting me in. I signed in and went through the whole quiz which was strange. Then I selected my recipes for the week but when I tried to save them to my meal plan it bounced me back to sign in. After this happened 4x, I’ve decided to uninstall. What a shame.
Edited due to slow loading and frequent crashes. I contacted tech support awhile back and got no help other than to update to the newest version which it was. Eventually another new update came out and it worked for awhile but now I’m having the same issue but worse. Not even useable. Easy to use. Great selection and variety of recipes. I love that you get a preview of the ingredients/cooking time/servings without having to go through an entire blog first.
I love this app. I’ve been using it for several years. Tons of great recipes. However, lately it has started being very sluggish. It’s slow to load recipes and quite often I get an error message that Yummly isn’t responding. I don’t know what you did in your last update, but please fix it! Also, when it tells me to close app, wait or send feedback, and I try to send feedback, it tells me I’m not connected to the internet. But of course, I am.
Good app for delicious recipes! Only 3 stars because it’s constantly crashing and the load time between getting into the app, to “My Yums”, scrolling through recipes, finding the one you want and waiting for the ingredients to load takes about 10 to 15 minutes when it should take seconds. Something needs to be fixed with the crashing and loading. Its crashed 3 times in the span of 5 minutes. The app is up to date too.
