This is the first app that made me feel like I was living in the future. I love the fact you can use your own images as input into this. I see the potential for a new form of pop abstract art. Don’t expect photorealistic renders, but expect effective abstract art. I hope they upgrade their model by sampling more images eventually. Also a physics layer could be interesting to add in.

Was cool until the buzzing every time it goes through a shift. Can’t turn it off. It used to be relaxing, nice to mess with while falling asleep. Now it’s extremely nerve wracking to use. I don’t use it unless I’m totally alone because I’m sure it’s annoying to others, too. And then only maybe once because I cannot stand the buzzing. I can only assume that’s the point, to keep you from using up their server space or whatever. I’d rather just pay for the app and be able to turn that off.

Still experimenting, but so far I’ve done a few generated images and I’m extremely impressed. I draw a lot and sometimes I just can’t come up with ideas, if you don’t pick a input image, especially under steampunk, you can end up with some wild renders! And another huge plus: I haven’t encountered a single ad.

The paintings almost always turn out great, but the user experience is what’s stopping this from a full five stars. 1: the settings aren’t really settings (can’t edit account info or anything, I’d like to turn off the haptic feedback, and the only actions are external links to socials) 2: no option for feedback (which is why I’m typing this all here) 3: no option to rename artwork or toggle showing the prompt after publishing
