Updating my review bc the support team has been helpful and responsive. App is good overall and serves a helpful purpose. I had to delete the app data and redownload to fix a bug with the app locking up. Otherwise it would be great if they could add a scroll bar in the progress update page. My keyboard blocks the text field and I can’t see what I’m typing. You can’t scroll the page so I end up having to keep minimizing the keyboard just to see what I typed or where the cursor is.
This has been helpful in managing the care schedule of all my plants, and the attached write ups are helpful. I’m giving this three stars for a couple of reasons. The app locks up each time I use the check list as I’m managing the plants, when I have an ill plant, the care plan is extremely limited, not helpful. The meter was the one reason I decided to pay for the app, I find it to be unreliable. South facing @1230 and it read as a dark room until I pressed the camera lense to the window.
I love the reminders to water my plants. I now have several that are still alive (that’s quite shocking for someone who has killed plenty of plants). The only thing I don’t like is that it requires me to pay a very expensive monthly subscription for the advanced features. I would gladly pay a smaller yearly fee for the additional instructions/reminders on how to care for the plants, like when to repot, add fertilizer and that kind of stuff.
This is a decent app, but I’m giving it 3 stars since it no longer allows me to add a picture. I am forced to use a picture of a different plant if they don’t have it in their catalog. Also, when changing info and sometimes when marking a plant as watered it will freeze while processing. If they fix these problems it will be a great app.
