I downloaded this because I could not wait for some of the comics to be translated to the English versions so here I am ( even tho I can’t read Korean I still love this app it’s great to see what will happen until they translate it to English) OH AND THE ENGLISH APP IS CALLED : WEBTOON ( no Naver just WEBTOON
i’ve tried to get verification code for several weeks now , maybe it’s already a month and tried to sign up again and again but still the same.. i even emailed help centre but useless.. can you do something about this please? i really wants to read on this app :((
this app has all of the languages you can think about it except persian,and i can’t even sign into it because it doesn’t cover my country ‘iran’,so i can’t put my number for getting verify code.
This app sucks can’t even sign up it says “5~20 characters consisting of lower case letter(a-z),numbers, or special characters(_,-)” I have done it all and I can’t even sign it up. I hate this app.
If i can also translate it into English while reading Korean that would be great cause that would really help foreign students to learn Korean
I like it because there are many kinds of webtoons. However, it is in Korean, so it would be better if it comes out in English later
I like the app because it has the stories I want to read but sadly I don’t understand the language , even the app itself . .can we use the English on this? How?

I’m just writing this review to let people know there is an English translated version of this app, called WEBTOON!(no naiver) It has lots of the comics on this app, but translated into English. So go to that if you want these comics in English.
This app has way more good features than the English webtoon i hope u guys will also provide these features in the English Webtoon app
i download this app for just to read 1 manwha wich is 내가 죽기로 결심한 것은 i tried sighning in a lot of times bt the verification code dosent work!! Please fix this as soon as possible i will change my rating TT

it’s pretty good app but.. i can’t understand and i can’t search something i like on it if it’s not korean language but.. but.. i don’t know how to type some korean worlds (〒﹏〒)

it’s a great app with great selectios of series. but, can someone please tell me how to change the theme from light to dark/night mode? is there an option for that? please I really need this feature.
Great selection of series to practice reading in Korean! Especially useful for reading the newest episodes of the series if you can’t wait for the English translation 😆 너무 즐거운 작품 많아서 기뻐요 ㅎㅎ
I can understand a bit of Korean so I really wanted to try this app so I can be more up-to-date with Webtoons I read on the international app, but everytime I put in my contact info, I never get a verification code. I’ve tried EVERYTHING; nothing worked. I don’t even understand why Emails can’t suffice in the first place… I love this app for the sole reason of wanting to support my favourite authors and artists, but I dislike how difficult it is to sign up because of how buggy it is.
I’m, surprised. Naver’s other WEBTOON app is the english version, and sure, some webtoons here are not on that one but it also has its own. I read from both myself. This app was never intending to support other languages in the first place, what you are doing is like comparing the global version of a game to the original and bashing on the original for no english support because the global version doesnt have all the things. If you really wish to read the stories here it would be best to learn.
Okay, I’ll be up front about it: I always get annoyed by this app. This is the third time I’ve installed and uninstalled it, and I’m going to do it for the same reason I did the first time. It irritated me just to sign up, as in, “Please use Korean or English characters,” BE FOR REAL, IT’S MY NAME!! It doesn’t matter how hard I try to make my name translate Korean, it remains the same.
I can’t understand the words but i love the app ❤️
I have the English version of the app (which is simply called Line Webtoon) I just couldn’t wait for one webtoon to be translated and posted so I got this one too. It’s pretty much the exact same thing with extra details like drama adaption notifications and animated webtoons,etc. Both are filled with great comics.
The app overall is good. Helps me a lot in improving the vocabulary. Just one thing, if I change my phone and log in with the sama ID, it doesn’t show me the recent chapter I read. It only shows my favorite webtoons. Can you help me with this? Thanks! 🙂
Good app, lot of free content. There is a bit of a paywall but I don’t mind. I have one issue only: I wish app would remember where i stopped reading. I often close the app in the middle of reading and when I open it again, i need to scroll down a bit and find the part I was reading.
For those complaining that it’s not English, there is another Webtoon app with other languages including English (just may not have the same comics). Some comics here are translated into English on the other Webtoon version app, but may not have the latest Korean updates (so if you technically want to read ahead on some of the translated ones on the other Webtoon, you can kind of do that here)
This app is helping me very much. I am a transfer student in Korea and I barely know any Korean, which sucks. One of my teachers suggested that I should check the app out to help read and memorize Korean, even though I don’t know what it is saying in English. So thank you very much for making this app so I can understand how the consonants and vowels work in Korean. Again, thank you so very much for making this app.
honestly i really enjoy the app, but I’m having a trouble adding stories to my favorites list because i can’t sign up to naver webtoon on the page/webpage it says “limited temporary to sign up” i dunno something like that, It’s been two days I still can’t log in😞, I hope it gets fixed soon. Thank you
Downloaded this app because I’m tired of waiting for updates on the English version so this is better even if I don’t understand the language but pictures speak louder than words xD so I am very satisfied. The only drawback is that I don’t know how to search for the webtoons that I read on the English version because the name is in Korean but I found some of them and I’m really grateful (‘: thank you Naver.
Attention all English readers! Stop being stupid! There is not an English option and there will never be! They have an entire app dedicated to English readers, they are not going to add it to this one. If you want to read the comics featured on Naver Webtoon, learn korean. Other than that, this app is absolutely amazing.
I really like the English version of webtoon, so I decided to download this to improve my korean. It’s pretty good! I’ve read a few reviews that says it isnt in English, but theres a entirely separate app for that so if people wanna read in english you can go there. One thing is it’s hard to get coins but its reasonable the authors need money, so 5/5!
I have both english and Korean version. One thing is for sure English version of naver is not updated as the korean version. It would be great if both version updated at the same time.. Notice that got more nicer story here than the english version.. please please update both at the same time, spent a lot $ for coins and i dnt mind to spend more in future 😄

Naver webtoon is a very cool app with a lot of great manhwa but since i can’t understand Korean i would like to wish that we can change language to English
Signing in with this app is hard, even if you created a unique and complex email, it will still say that the email has already been taken. And there’s an error when you’re trying to sign up, in which you need to contact customer service for no reason again and again.
How can i get the verification code???? It never send to my number, i’ve wait for a 2-3 days just to try to sign up in this app!
I love this app, I’ve been learning korean for the past 2 years and this app does help me practice my reading. Of course you won’t learn korean from this app because it’s not a teaching app, it’s comics. But if you know how to read and write in korean, and know some vocabulary, this app will be very fun. I love it!! ♥️
The stories are awesome! But since I’m a foreigner and can understand only a little bit of korean, I was hoping that reading interesting stuffs as novels could help me learn korean in a fun easy way. So us, foreign users would be really thankful if there could be a small english translation below the speech bubbles 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I know there are translated version of the novels, but as I want to learn korean it would be a really big help if I can read both hangul and translation at the same time

The app is really easy to use and browse through. It has a wide selection of webtoons to chose from, and there’s specials that allow me to read webtoons that are locked and usually require cookies to read them. I’m using it for my daily Korean reading practice and it’s really useful.
