  1. App is pretty good, allowing you to choose the right resolution for your artwork to display. I do wish it allowed you to choose the resolution and size of each artwork. It could also have more display options, so choosing the other full screen options doesn’t blow the artwork up or cut it off. I’m very happy otherwise!

  2. Top quality audio player. Quite a spectacular piece of work. Excellent job. Well done. Nonetheless I have one problem, the visualizer is not showing up on my Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 4.4.2. I have no such problems with other top class audio players like poweramp and Blackplayer. It would be nice if the visualizer will show up in the menu. I will showly purchase it. I have no regrets with all the sound effects that I’ve bought.

  3. I have been using this app for a few years now. For all of the options that you are given for real time audio changes, the quality is really good. You definitely need to know what you’re doing to maintain sound clarity and avoid distortion but that’s just how audio works. I haven’t had any issues but I am also avoiding the most recent update since some people say the 20 band EQ was removed. I’ll give it 5 stars if that issue is resolved and the feature returned.

  4. Have been using this app for several months now. Much better than the standard music app on my Samsung smartphone. I like the separate sound effect profiles by device (Bluetooth, speakers, headphones, remote/wireless), and with the proper setting, separate profiles by different Bluetooth devices. My only complaint, and it’s an annoying one, is the equalizer settings for the Bluetooth profile for my vehicle doesn’t retain the volume setting (with the equally annoying volume warning) when the app is exited on my smartphone or when the smartphone has been rebooted. I am not sure the volume control isn’t tied to something within the Android OS on this Samsung smartphone, forcing it back to mid-point on the volume scale. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth volume scale on my vehicle’s audio system is much less than with the other sources, and the system doesn’t have a volume offset by source like some vehicle’s audio systems do. So, when I switch from Bluetooth to say radio station, the speakers blast at high volume unless I remember to turn the volume control in the vehicle way down first. If the volume control by profile could be fixed, this would rate a 5-star product.

  5. PLEASE FIX PLAYLIST ISSUE!!! It’s been over a year now! Enough already! Used to be great. Now not so much. The inability to add music to a playlist puts me in a love/hate relationship with it. Love the functionality and interface. Hate the dead playlist issue. It has followed me from one phone to the next and now I have no playlists at all on my new phone. Fix this issue or hire someone who can.

  6. I have used this app for quite some time but lately it has really gone to the dogs. Regular audio skipping, crashes, and other bugs have been happening. All of this has gotten worse since Android 11 came out and while I have given it several months it appears the developers are not wanting to put in the effort to get it running on Android 11. I am moving on. Don’t buy if you are worried about support. There is no excuse for audio playback issues on a Pixel 3a.

  7. 76GoLong dice:

This WAS a fantastic audio player. Now, it’s a broken mess. Can’t add to or edit playlists anymore. The equalizer and audio settings are not as accessible from the song as they used to be. Sad that I payed for the app and plug-ins. I’ll hold out hope that the devs fix the problems but until then I’ll have to use a different player. UPDATE: Still can’t add to or edit playlists! UPDATE 2: Months later still broken. Do not buy!!

  8. This was a really great music player when playlists worked. As of Android 10 it does not allow you to add songs on an SD card to a playlist. I contacted the developer and they insisted this is a bug Google needs to fix. It’s not a bug, it’s a permission change Android has been warning developers about for months. It’s frustrating they are refusing to fix this issue because Google is not going to come to their rescue. They also suggested not storing music on a SD card as a workaround which is not a good option if you have a large library. Good audio quality and user interface though. Overall still better than Google Play Music. I will happily give this 5 stars when playlists work again. Update (December 2020): Album art is also broken now. Switched to Pulsar which allows adding songs on a SD card to a playlist (Note to jetAudio developers: it’s still not an Android bug) and has working album art.

  9. I love the user interface the customization options are plentiful as well, the only change I wish I could make would be for an option to make jetAudio the default search for whenever you want to search for an album or artist. At present there are like 3 or 4 buttons you have to press to get there instead of only 1 or 2. Aside from that, a perfect music app.

  10. Honestly this is just a game changer. Its like you can just change how good the audio sounds. I also wish there was a feature to add vst plugins. But overall I really love this app. I’d recommend this to people that are just getting started on audiophile headphones, and people already with experience. This is the best music player I’ve seen on android. I would love to see more work done to this app. This is incredible keep it up!

  11. I’ve had this app for about 2 years now and I’ve loved it for the most part, but recently while trying to make a new playlist I havent been able to add any songs to it. When I try to add anything I get a notification at the bottom of my screen saying “0 songs added to playlist” but I installed other music players to see if it was my phone or the app. It was the app. Fix this please

  12. Doesn’t show .m4b files in the “artists”, “albums”, “song” section in the app, nor in the “folder” tab. Though it can play them correctly if called from external file manager, there’s no way to get to .m4b files through the Jet Audio app itself. The clunky workaround is to manually rename files from .m4b to .m4a, then it’s working. Otherwise an absolutely fantastic music player app!

  13. At last! Wow! For months I have been looking for a good app to manage my mp3 files. And I finally found it… I like most the ability to rewind and fast forward through content. I like listening to history podcasts and this is a great feature… This app is intuitive and simple. It allows the user to easily manage files and playlists. Now, I can I delete the other mp3 players that have failed to meet my expectations.

  14. It pisses me off that I upgraded to this thinking I’d be getting better experience than the free version, which I’ve used for a year, but in fact it’s worse: There’s no mechanism to export playlists from free to paid, so all of them are lost. I’m probably sticking with free for that reason. There’s still no options to show album name on lock styles. It plays all my music like the free version (notably .opus), but otherwise it’s the same thing.

  15. Jetaudio has always been my favorite go to music player. So much so I purchased the full HD PLUS version. I have not been pleased with the purchased full version for the past few months as it was force closing and now won’t even launch successfully. I uninstalled and reinstalled – updated it – still same problem. I have had to install the free version although there are a flurry of ads with that version. Please fix this issue with force closing in the full HD PLUS version. Not cool.

  16. I’ve been using it for 2 or 3 years. I paid for it early on. I own almost 1,400 songs on my phone. What I have always loved was the way it mixes my songs. I rarely have to skip a track, the app always plays a great mix. The EQ is also very nice and customizable to which type of speaker, Bluetooth headphones, speakers or just the phone, you use. First app rating with a comment. The Free version is good but if you listen to your own music buy it. I also like the YouTube link.

  17. Still love sound. UI really sucks. The EQ and sound adjustments are excellent. But, you need to be able to exit the app with the back button. The app, NOT back out of the storage and file where the music is located like a file manager. Hate having to open the menu and select “exit” to leave and close the app. Would like to see the Thumbnails of files when in “folder” mode. PLEASE!!!

  18. Great app been using it for a long time. The different settings and upgraded equalizer really brings out a warmer and louder sound on my factory car radio. My issue is with scrambled song titles on certain albums, maybe something to consider as manually changing them back is pain and even so they revert back sometimes. No clue how it did this but never had problems like that from storing music files prior to downloading this app. Otherwise this app is great and user friendly.

  19. jetaudio plus is great. so many features that I find very useful. the separate equalizer and effect profiles for different Bluetooth devices is great. I have one sound profile for the car and a different one for my headphones and this app automatically switches between the two with no intervention needed. this profile feature now works for the balance which it did not in the past. I emailed the dev and it was added. great app and dev team!

  20. This app has worked so well for me for probably 5 years. The customization is very much to my liking. The AM3D really does make a difference, especially if the phones DAC makes the music sound muddy. The only thing right now is my A50 only projects sound in the right side and not the left. YouTube music and JetAudio free did not give me this issue. I also reinstalled the app and cleared the cache to no avail. Any assistance is appreciated. Edit: I eventually found the balance was set to 100.🤔

  21. Used to like this app, but now it doubles up my playlist and shows them with 0 songs, but if i open another music app my playlists are there with all the songs that are supposed to be in them. I feel like its the way the app interact with storage is causing the issue. Please fix, its been more than a year. I like the app, but this issue is very annoying!!

  22. The Reub dice:

Plays everything w/no problem. The EQ is expandable and has different profiles if you like to tweak your sound for the car or headphones. The only plugin worth buying is the crystalizer; it brings out the vocals w/o distortion. Plenty of customization options. Update: the search from current playlist option is gone. Bring it back please.

  23. The next song often will cut half way into the song and it’s insanely annoying when I have a playlist all set up and then this app keeps disrupting my mood by throwing me right into the middle of a song. It happens alot over the past several months so I’m here to write about it. Please fix this issue because it’s gonna be a deal breaker. One other thing I’d like to see is when you go into an artist there should be the option to view a list of albums instead of just all the songs. Still crashing

  24. Cannot add songs to playlists like other users. Yes, I have Android 10. However, I have been experiencing this issue since the previous Android version. I switched to Poweramp music player and created playlists just fine. I did not have to move my music from the external micro SD card to the internal storage. I did not have to update the “system media library” either.

  25. This is a great app and the only one I use to play music on my Galaxy Note 10+. It doesn’t have some things I’d like, like different skins and layouts that make the interface look interesting, but it makes up for that by having some amazing sound quality and acoustic features and settings. I had to contact the developer recently and they were prompt and polite and walked me thru the steps to fix my problem fast and simple. Thanks for making such a great app!

  26. I loved this app for years until literally overnight it stopped recognizing the music folder on my SD card. Music is still on the card, the app just ignores the folder. It doesn’t even show up in the Jet settings for library source. I downloaded 4 other players to find one I liked as a replacement. While I didn’t like any of them as much, they all loaded the music on their initial scans. Really bummed. I loved this player but it’s pretty much useless to me now.

  27. Can’t understand all the complaints. The 20 band equalizer is awesome. The bass boost preset on equalizer sounds awesome too. I think without themes to change looks a minor gripe but this app looks clean and very nice. I think I will finally stick with one, and it is this app. I eventually get all the addons when I can. Like I said can’t understand all the complaints. Thanks for such a great app! Until I find something I do not like, then 5 stars from me.

  28. How do you rate the best sounding app only four stars? Well, the real reason is the lack of “album artist” sorting. This is a big deal for me, as I have over 75,000 songs in my library, and sorting just by “artist” makes a giant mess of it. Seriously though, besides that, this is the best sounding app I’ve used; I think even better than Neutron Player (even if it doesn’t have quite such granular control). JetAudio is quick, stable, and sounds great; my favorite music app.

  29. App was great. But now it has decided that my 150GB music library no longer exists, despite the fact that I can easily browse the files in my file browser and other music apps can see the files just fine. I’ve already both wiped the settings and reinstalled multiple times, rescanned the media multiple times. It insists I don’t have any music whatsoever.

  30. This player has a ton of features that most others don’t, but one major annoyance is that it starts up anytime a Bluetooth device is connected. Developer says that is an android limitation and can’t be fixed, but why does Musicolet have that ability? Also, developer used to respond to emails for bugs or feature requests but has been MIA to my requests for months. Uninstalled and moving on…

  31. E Oh dice:

Stay far away… it crashes constantly on a completely updated Samsung S21 ultra. It was a fantastic app several Android versions back, but I cannot deal with its constant crashes. All other now installed media/ audio programs work – so it’s this software!! It will work once on a fresh install and then…junk. crash. If I could get my money back in exchange for not getting stuck with this piece of useless software I would take it with no hesitation. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!!!!

  32. I love this app! I’ve been using this music player for years, tho much doesn’t change other then a smoother interface, it doesn’t have to cuz it’s that good. Everything sounds amazing and you can really customize multiple options within the equalizer. I bought the plus version and was even more happy to find how much more awesome the equalizer could get, plus the edit tag options are perfect. Definitely worth the money for a music player you will use for years. 🙂

  33. Crashes when using with Android Auto. One of the reasons I paid for this app was because of its ability to integrate with AA. Recently when trying to use it, jetAudio will stop working, usually after disconnecting and reconnecting the phone to the car. The only remedy is to restart the phone. I have tried clearing the app’s data and cache, as well as reinstalling the app to no avail. I have switched to using a different music player and now have no issues.

  34. With the latest update it seems to work great again on Android 11. (Party shuffle works again) It has a nice interface and displays the album art beautifully. It’s great on Android Auto too particularly for shuffled playback on-device music downloads. It would be nicer though if it tied in better with Local Network streaming like BubbleUPnP does. Overall a great app.

  35. The sound options are far better than any other player out there. That said, the database for album art is terrible and no searchable lyric database to speak of. Also unable to edit multiply tags. I just get a pop up about permissions to access the sd card even though no music is stored there. Aside from those minor annoyances it’s a great music player.

  36. I love the app, it’s been pretty reliable for a few years now (and I WORK my media players) Could you add a feature that works as such: when the playlist browser is open and music is playing, if the Now Playing song is in any playlists, those playlists highlight themselves or take on that blue font. That would be super appreciated

  37. By far the best music playback app out there. This app is particularly valuable for performing musicians who need a platform for using backing tracks on stage. Has a tag area where you can paste song lyrics into, and will show these embedded lyrics while song is playing. Also has a setlist export/import feature, so you can export already-created setlists to your other devices without having to painstakingly recreate them each time. Great time saver.

  38. tf amaze dice:

I am rather simple when it comes to my music apps. The biggest feature I cared about was more playlist sorting options. Namely, I was looking to sort artist A-Z then title A-Z. I went through like 10 apps before I found this one. I also missed a setting to disable resuming songs, but the developer was prompt to respond with the appropriate setting. Now the only 2 features missing I would like is the ability to add ignored sort words (the, a, etc) and keep order with shuffle for multipart songs.

  39. Tee Kay dice:

I love this app and have been using JetAudio/iAudio/Cowon products for nearly 15 years now. I recommend this app to anyone that asks. With that being said, please fix the playlist issue. When I ask Google assistant to play a certain playlist using JetAudio, nothing happens…but if I ask it to play a specific song it plays just fine. Thanks!

  40. Note: Every new update has had a little surprise for me since I enrolled as a premium subscriber. Now, the application is working fine and as advertised. It has been bugging me for 2 months since October 2022, but now it’s working fine. The application didn’t recognise that I am a JetAudio+ subscriber unless I removed the cash and application data and started it all over again. After receiving an Android system update for my phone the application worked fine again.
