App redesign is terrible. It wasn’t perfect last year but it was much more clean and better laid out. Now it’s clunky, hard to navigate, and full of ads. Why is the schedule not displayed in a calendar format? It’s impossible to read at a glance. A calendar with dark colored home games and light colored away games so you can easily see homestands, road trips, and off days. Come on guys. Baseball schedules have been that way forever, why change them?

  2. Harry Cross dice:

Still a disaster. I am constantly using the scoreboard to see what’s happening in other games. The MLB app geniuses now put ads in the middle of the scores. And not only do the ads take up half of my phone screen, but the pop in new ones every few seconds. And that, in turn changes the position of the scores you are trying to see. App is useless. Switching back to ESPN where it always works.

  3. Mike Lewis dice:

Even without a subscription this used to be a pretty good app, especially liked how you could go back and see box scores of older games. But now they’ve replaced that with a menu to buy tickets. And they are absolutely relentless with trying to push you to sign up for an account. Ads everywhere, and recap videos have been replaced with this weird Instagram clip roll of highlights. Oh and guess what’s between each of these clips? You guessed it, more ads. If you’re not a subscriber don’t bother.

Got this app specifically to stream out-or-market games. Tons of bugs. Sometimes the game I want isn’t even listed as available despite being in progress. Switch devices and then it’s available. Streaming audio cuts out every few minutes with an “Error” message when you attempt to restart it. Streaming video buffers constantly to the point of being unwatchable. So basically the whole app is useless. Glad I got the Free Trial and didn’t splurge for the insanely expensive plan.
