App is now in English in the start menu, other contents are in Japanese. Some shows are locked if user didn’t pay the premium plan and doesn’t live in Japan.
I am in Japan and installed it with my japanese play store account and it says “not available in your region” 🤨 日本で住んでいます。
Why this website and web also said “This service is not available in your region”? Rubbish app
It is one of the great app among the broadcasting app. There is a free trial of two months but it force the viewer to subscribe along from being withdrawal and that is what made me hard to manage.
Looks good. I found the app I was looking for for a long time but I can’t use it. It says you cant watch in your area. Please fix this, thanks in advance
AbemaTV is streaming service that only japan exclusive. But, i watch like certain magical index it can’t. But, i sure this is only japan only to watch. Or i was wrong way maybe. But, it’s not worth, i keep watch on YouTube rather than streaming. But if want more, you need pay month free trial. Yes, this is like YouTube does or free streaming stuff they need pay premium subs. But, my opinion it’s not worth
Needs some improvement with screen rotation, the app seems freeze for short when orientation changes, also it will be better to have controls at bottom like the control bar on YouTube app
I install it for loving the show outside Japan, i really wish to watch everything with free. If there’s a payment. Not yet confirm, i gladly use my credit card for purchase to watch but i hope it accept foreign credit card. Huhuhu I’m late for watch and not opening. Well I just downloaded this app 1h ago and when I logged in it was playing a Japanese news or something and then when I search and found anime I tried to watch but it doesn’t work and also drama and other stuff as well can you please explain why and how does this app work I ain’t really good in japanese I only understand a few words 🙏🙏
Works well! Seems to be free so far. To the people complaining there’s not enough channels, find a japanese vpn app on the google play store to change your ip and have access to more channels
too bad, limited channel, only can view the app channel and it’s only one -_ what u think i want to watch only 1 channel and it’s a news tv? and also the language is not in english, i hope i can watch more and others channel and english version,
There are a lot of channels that cannot be watched (maybe u hv to pay for that)but as long I can watch the channels that I want, it’s more than enough.. 😆😆
2 unskippable 30 second ads in a row before I can watch anything. This is just too much, totally unusable.
I hope that there is an english mode for this app. I’m fine with the video not having an english caption but the platform should rather have one for foreign fans.
Well, i can’t see any video so no point to keep installing this app. I don’t mind to pay but the problem is can’t see because outside japan than keep restricted on japan google play is better.
It genuinely makes zero sense to have this not region blocked on the play store even though the app itself literally blocks a vast majority of VPNs and doesn’t allow non-japanese residents to access the app.

I downloaded this app hoping I could live stream the honbasho, but I haven’t been able to do so, nor have I been able to access any of the sumo content, very disappointing.
Don’t buy premium if u are not at Japan. Is only can be watch if u at japan, other region is unavailable to use the app as well… ありがとうございます
Well…I wanted to watch the Kai bucket list show but it appears that neither people outside Japan can watch without vpn nor is there any Eng subtitles. ;(

Great app, allows me to watch news and in-depth news analysis at the time & place of my convenience, making for a very productive day. If I may suggest, you could perhaps allow billing your on-demand content to cards issued overseas, so you can expand your market to users outside Japan.

Nothing works. Even used Japan location vpn.. Not a single Channel works
Install this for Seiyuu to Yoasobi at Ani-live channel. Thanks a lot for stream this show outside Japan. If only I can subscribe with foreign card, it would be 5 star from me.
