After you install the app and conduct a search you will receive push notifications when new properties are listed in the search. These push notifications can be disabled in the ‘Settings’ area of the app.

Search for suitable apartments, flats, houses and commercial enterprises in the desired location, size and price category with the ImmobilienScout24 property finder app. Would you like to rent or buy an apartment or a house? Simply search for property and find your house or flat.
The Immobilien Scout24 search functions
• Simple and intuitive property search with filters for real estate.
• Search for flat or apartment sizes, number of rooms (one, two, three bedrooms…), facilities (balcony, kitchen, garden, roof terrace…), property type (maisonette, attic floor, office…).
• Targeted search for furnishing criteria (balcony, fitted kitchen, garden …), number of rooms (one, two, three bedrooms…) property types (maisonette, roof storey, offices …), apartments and houses for rent or purchase (rental apartments, owner-occupier apartments
…), commission-free real estate to rent or buy etc.
• Search for commercial real estate (e.g. search for: office, practice, catering, hall, retail trade – for rental, leasing or purchase).
• Messenger: Communicate directly with vendors securely within the home and rent app, with no need for email anymore. Easily keep track of your communication history with vendors.
• Apartment search: Display all properties available in the vicinity of your current position, or search for an address, town/city, postcode or
Scout-ID. You can use notifications to find out if a new property, corresponding to your search criteria, is available.
• Display all rental homes and purchase real estate for residences, commercial enterprises and residential plots as a list or map view.
• Synchronisation of the reminder list and saved searches with your ImmobilienScout24 Account.
• Sorting the order by your own presettings (price, living space, up-to-date status …) within the real estate app.
• Reminder list function, which even makes your saved favourites (apartment, house or commercial enterprise) available offline, amongst
other features.
• Direct contact with the respective provider or real estate agent by phone or contact form.
• Forwarding the property to friends, acquaintances and people looking for somewhere to live (e.g. via email, Facebook, Google Plus).
• Your last search criteria are saved and can be called up again at a later date within the property and apartment finder.
• Almost all display resolutions are supported in the ImmobilienScout app.
• You need a device with GPS sensor for optimum use!

Smart Connect extension for SmartWatch 2
A few minutes into the app, and I can tell that this is by far the best experience I had in any application/website to look for accommodations in Germany. 1) A map feature with prices and details. This makes your search way easier, especially if you’re not familiar with the names of the streets and districts. 2) a translate feature to translate to any language you want 3) amazing filters which makes it very easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Glitchy & missing basic functionality: can’t filter offers by date posted or total rent for listing (even though data is already there – annoying!). Zooming/swiping media from offers is frequently buggy, whereas the info of an offer is organized badly and hard to assimilate with a glance. Seems that UX efficiency was deemed unimportant. Last but not least, obvious scams are frequently allowed on the platform – detecting & clearing them is apparently a big challenge even in 2021 (not).
The app looks nice and offer somewhat good functionality but: Notifications do not come as often as in the settings. A message cannot be send and when I get out and back in I realise that the pets switch is on which it wasn’t before. Then the message can be sent when the switch is back to no. You send your profile and then the agents asks you to fill in a form which is all in your profile…what do I need a premium for then?
Minimal subscription plan costs 60€ and for that price you get nothing! Because almost all premium features depend on the bank connection, which is completely broken! Be aware and don’t waste your money here!
