Works perfect on my Note 9, buttery smooth and beautiful graphics. Love the sequel on the Switch & PC. I had To dock one star unfortunately due to graphical issues on Chromecast with Google TV, in which mainly roads, part of grass, and even the HUD are black or blank which causes it to be hard to see where you are driving on especially anywhere that doesn’t have rocks, signs, or trees. Hopefully it can be fixed sometime soon as it otherwise ran great on Android TV.
Game is fun and music is great, and it even has gamepad support! This all means it’s begging to be played on a TV. However if you try to install the app on the latest generation “Google Chromecast with Google TV”, all of the ground textures fail to render so all of the earth is pitch black :(. 🙁 This makes it really hard to see where you’re going and totally kills most of the aesthetic! Developers please please please PLEASE fix this! The game is too fun to be stuck playing on a phone!
Awesome! This game has such a fabulous art style. The vibrancy is stunning on an OLED screen but it also plays well, too. Responsive controls compliment great track design. It’s the kind of racing game that they haven’t made many of since the early 2000s and it’s a welcome addition to any race fans library.
Not a bad game for the money, but it has some frustrating problems. The collision mechanics are wonky, the hitboxes on terrain are sometimes bigger than the image, and the levels with rain are close to unplayable. But it isn’t an obnoxious freemium cashgrab, and it is fun to play, so I can’t really be too harsh on it.
