It’s a good app used it before and it was a blast. I’ve been having difficulty using the songs Everytime I click on a song I freezes and doesn’t allow it to play. Please fix this, this bug is not allowing the app to be functional. Edit: I created this post two months ago and this big still hasn’t been fixed.
I don’t know what’s going on but my voice sounds out of sync sometimes when I go back to listen to the song before I submit. Also sometimes the music is too loud and it over powers someone singing and voice acting. Also I wish you can rewind while singing so if I mess up I have to start all over from the beginning which sucks!(UPDATE:they just added this feature).
This app does not support wireless headsets or wireless headphones. I’ve tried to work with the Smule team to troubleshoot this but they do not seem to have the ability to enable Bluetooth headsets to record ones singing. It’s very unfortunate because I don’t want to be tethered to my phone, I want to be able to sing and dance when I sing. I will update my post if they start to allow the use of Bluetooth headsets.
I used to love this app, I’d have given it 5 stars, but they’ve changed it so much, it just isn’t as good as it used to be. You used to be able to edit your songs after singing them, actually getting to re-sing specific parts if you messed up without having to erase the whole song or start over, and you could also choose to sing with NO effects over your vocals, not sure why that’s no longer an option (I used to have the app on the iPod, so I don’t know if that’s why).
