I really enjoying this app but you could add some features. For instance, you could change one owner and that’s it. So if for instance I’m looking for, we go with no more than two owners or no more than three owners. Just add at the point. My friend says if you’re looking some particular vehicle car but there are some brands that you are not interested in why I cannot exclude them? Why is supposed to scroll all the thousand cars I need to look for? Improve the app.
I love how easy to use this app is. You can easily choose the make/model you are interested in and then further filter for specific details you want in a car. These filters include price, mileage, trim, fuel type, features and so much more. Being able to use so many different filter options helps leave the guess work out of trying to narrow down my car search. I highly recommend this app when searching for a used car!
when the app is working, it’s absolutely great. informative, in depth, and thorough… but that’s when it’s working. and since I’ve had the app I’ve had more experience with malfunctions than with positive car searching. if they could fix the “whoops, that’s not what we expected to happen” error occurring consistently, then this app would be perfect. for two days now I haven’t even been able to actually search for any used vehicles. when I press search, their error code pops up.
I used this app for quite awhile. Then I ran out of money to buy a car!! Lol. Anyway, the app is Awesome!! They had so many choices within my small price range. Sometimes the places were too far away. And get ready because they send tons of emails. It does certainly suit the purpose!! I am only getting rid of the app because of my own procrastination and I am no longer looking for a car. Thank you Carfax!!🙋
I like this app because it helps me keep up with maintenance on my vehicles (got a free subscription when I bought a car). I am giving 3 stars though because I have had to manually put in the same maintenance twice now for one vehicle. I keep getting notifications about services being due, but they’re the same ones I’ve entered. Very annoying!
Been using this app for years, suddenly I can’t view more than the main picture. Keep getting a “whoops, that’s not what we expected to happen” error. *Update* after your reply, I tried again and had the same issue. No updates were available so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now it won’t find any cars at all. Everything says “Show 0 results”
Broken app. Anytime you try to initiate a search it just throws an error message and you get zero results. Isn’t that the core functionality of the app? Everything was working perfectly a couple of months ago. How does this update even get published in it’s current state? Do you even have a QA department? I hope someone lost their job over this because that’s just sad. Running the latest version on a Google Pixel2 with the latest software installed.
Good not great App. You can never set the right distance from your house. It bring us cars more than a hundred miles away no matter how low the search radius is set. Please fix. The feedback to my original review stated that if carfax could make the app better , for me to let them know. I did tell them to fix the location and distance issues where even though you may ask to see cars within 50 miles, the app still gives you cars 200 miles away. Please don’t patronize. FIX the issues
Helpful shows how much lower it is than other similar cars. Shows when previous owners of a used car took it to a mechanic. Really simple to use the app. I highly recommend this app for new people looking for a car but not sure if your getting a good deal as it shows if your getting a good great fair or bad deal for the used car.
It’s literally unusable. Everytime I open the app, none of the listings actually work. The listing might say Picture 1/41 and I click on it, and only the first picture will ever load. So I have to relaunch the app to view the pictures and all the other information, but then the next listing i click will do the same thing as before. Only one picture loads, and no information loads in either.
Cannot filter for third row seating. I have to check every vehicle and look through photos, go to the dealer website, check every single “feature”… Needless to say, I will be uninstalling the app because there are plenty of other apps that allow me to search for the car I actually need instead of wasting time checking each individual vehicle.
As a first-time buyer of a vehicle, I wanted to find vehicles that were cheap, yet reliable. This app shows every single car I have interest in, as well as others that I have never seen. It also keeps things simple, and convenient.
Your latest bug fix was a bust. I can open app and search for cars. But when I click on a car for further information, the app closes out completely and says the app has a bug.
The app does not work if someone sends you a link to look at a vehicle. It starts to load than goes to the opening screen and tries to load again than back to the opening screen.
All it will do is crash. Have Uninstalled and reinstalled, but no luck. Keeps just telling me, “CARFAX closed because it has a bug.” Very frustrating 😤
It opens. I can sign in . But i cant search anything on the app. I get the error that the app is having a bug, try updating. The website works, but the app doesn’t.
This app is my favorite way to search for used cars. Free access to a Carfax report and vehicle reliable history. What could be more valuable? App is also well designed and very functional.
Not working, unable to search any vehicle.. nothing is showing up no matter what filters you choose. Already tried clearing cookies and data. Reinstalled several times too.
I can’t get it to work. I got to enter the make/model of the car and hit the search button, but everytime the app with send me back to the front of it will close the app entirely.
Nice searching experience but very very overly priced cars, other car apps are thousands of dollars cheaper on the same cars with less miles.
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. The number of cars on here is laughable. It’s like some kid put this app together based on the cars he sees in his neighborhood.
It’s very slow when loading the cars that are for sale and refreshing a search sometimes takes very long as well
I’ve showed up and looked at a handful of vehicles they’ve got listed here. IMMENSE repairs are needed on a lot of these vehicles. Don’t be fooled by their 1 owner vehicles either, look at the documentation!! Most “1 owner” vehicles have had multiple owners, be they a dealer or a business. While knowing the maintenance is very important, seeing these cars first hand is your best bet. I looked at several in person yesterday and found the maintenance record to be just for show. Vet the car better

cars sure have changed! especially from the 1960’s. of course I was my 20’s. now in today’s cars, I open the hood and I look in amazement, wonder, and curiosity. I close the hood, I never touched anything, I close the hood and look around and holler out “help..anyone help me!”. ì used to work on my MGA twin cam (very fun and extremely fast…used to go to Sunset Hills ,st.louis suburb and terrorize the cops…they could NEVER catch me. that kind of fun! I worked on that car, ’63 pontiac leman
Great app, it’s my go to, but lately it keeps crashing whenever i try to do a search, fix and i will rate higher.
It’s a great app “when it works”. Lately I’ve been having an issue where it won’t let me select the “search” button so I’m stuck on the main page.
Okay at first, but now it keeps crashing when I try to find used cars. Not sure why it keeps crashing, but it does. The app doesn’t have an update available so I know that isn’t the problem. Please fix this.

I found the vehicle I wanted through Carfax. It’s nice to be able to compare vehicles and prices by not having to drive from dealership to dealership and dealing with pushy salesmen.
So far I’ve had a good experience I’m going to look at a truck in a little bit the problem is trucks are so expensive that’s the only problem I live on a budget and it is hard to live on disability so I have to watch were my cash goes but I’m happy with CARFAX SORRY IT’S TAKING ME SO LONG TY
