I’m deleting and adding an updated review. Back in 2020 I reviewed saying the app freezes and crashes a lot. This new review is to echo what every new review says. The app seems to keep getting slower and buggier over time. I was hoping the newest Samsung Android phone would make all of those issues go away but it didn’t. Same issues on the s9 as s21+ and really kinda only getting worse over the years. It’s the fantasy football off-season, during games in the fall it’s surely going to be worse.
I have never had a more frustrating experience with a fantasy sports app. It constantly is never up to date in real time, so I can never trust when I check scores. Most recently, I’ve been locked out because it thinks I need to update, but then when I try to proceed, it tells me I’m “Up to date.” Will never use Sleeper again.
WAS a great app but is getting more bugy lately. Our league pays out FAAB for playoff wins and I can’t edit it right now. When I change the FAAB amount in settings it just kicks me out of settings when I hit save but doesn’t save the changed amount. They also took away the feature where you used to be able to message sleeper in the app….but without it I am here writing this and hoping they see it at some point. Just seems they are giving up what made them great for features we don’t want.
It will not allow me to use an email for registration, (though is says you have the option, when you try, it will freeze up), and forces you to use your phone number. After you register, you’re treated with a lesser experience than other apps. I’ ve heard people rave about this app. I don’t get it, yahoo is better. The options available are excellent, but when the app won’t work properly, what good is all of that?
