This is probably my favorite mobile game ever. They always have new updates and characters to unlock and they haven’t abandoned the game. The reason it’s 4 stars is because I think they could add more zones to play. I also think there could be a larger variety of boss fights such as metal sonic or shadow. I also think that when you complete a mission during a run you instantly get a new one during the run. Other than that its a pretty good game.
The game is good as it stands but it could be a lot better. The lack of emotion on the characters takes away any feelings when they do their poses. Having the same 2 bosses with the same voice lines gets annoying and the same can be said for the playable characters. The running machanic is easy to understand, but the game constantly generates obstacles that have no solution, or make it to where it’s completely obscured. Glitches also cause a lot of failures too.
It’s a great endless runner, and the events to get new characters are frequent and fair. The main complaint is the forced ads when leveling up a character. They are only present for lowering ring amounts, and they are not short. Ads to double rings after a run, get a second wheel spin or swap run challenges is fair. But getting to a point where it’s mandatory to watch ads to level up a character is awful, and it didn’t used to be this way! Please change this back, because it’s a waste of time.
One of the best runners I’ve played. Would like to see more tracks from the game series – City Escape and the Ark come to mind. Also would like to go up against more variety of bosses. Many of Eggmans boss fights from other games would work. Also, having a new mission start as soon as one complete while still running would help keep me going on a single run longer. Instead of stopping as soon as a mission is complete just to start a new one.
I have been a sonic fan for years. It is a lot of fun. But the ads to get rewards such as new missions, lives and other things don’t give you the rewards at all. I have tried them before, the ads themselves are fine, but right after the ad plays and I am supposed to get my reward, the game crashes. This has happened multiple times. EDIT, turns out I was playing the game too much at the time lol
It’s pretty good.Sometimes you can’t see what’s in front of you and end up dying as a result, even though there’s no way you could’ve dodged it, no matter how fast you go. The new worlds are basically all the same, not much different from others. It would be interesting if each world had something more unique about it, like super fast icy in the snow world, falling pieces of building in temple zone, an underwater section somewhere maybe. It’s still fun though, my five year old daughter loves it!
Great game, decent amount of ads, most content is unlocked through progress but some are through limited-time events which makes the challenge of getting the characters a bit more fun. The game has aged well too. There was a bug that glitches out the game and ends your run when over a pit though, the screen will bug out and kill you, but it’s minor and has only happened once, so I’m not upset.
I always feel like I’m working towards a goal, whether that be missions, or other stuff. I highly recommend this over sonic dash 2 sonic boom, especially since this one is still getting updates, while 2 is dead in terms of updates. Really fun game to spend plenty of time on! Plus the endless runner style of game fits the sonic franchise perfect! 5/5!
This game is a handful of intense, fun and fast paced action! I enjoy the boss fights, helping to rebuild iconic Sonic locations, and everything else. Although it could use a little tweaking cause there are some bugs in the game. I still recommend it, and is suitable for killing time.
It’s a nice time-waster, but there are quite a few unresolved glitches. The controls randomly reverse themselves, with jump resulting in a roll (and vice versa), and going right resulting in going left (and vice versa), making the run unnecessarily harder. In addition, the player often gets blindsided when trying to dodge another obstacle, often resulting in a guaranteed death. At times, the game sometimes goes through a short period of zero response to any stimulation.
Sonic dash is an all right game. Main issue is sudden lag from what I guess is my phone. Like, sudden undone inputs is bad. As well as lag occuring during trick segments. That akways gets annoying. Although, that doesn’t always happen, making the game a smooth experience usually. As for red rings? While at first, it was rare to find them. But now, red rings seem to be more frequent, even in standard gameplay. Which I like for using to help a small bit in my runs.
Very well made game, I love it! Good game for when you have no service, gets boring after a while because nothing new is added to the game except for characters and there’s no special events other than “win a new character” event which doesn’t boost any stats, and is either a recycled event character or a reskin. Also the fact that there’s so many micro transactions you have to make to do well. Still an amazing game
I’ve played this game for over 4-5 years at least and, I’ve gotta say, this is one heck of a game. I built every home and unlocked Jet the hawk and then I thought I was done playing. But NO! There are events that give you new characters and you can earn coins to upgrade your characters. Inna nutshell I’m saying that once you’ve built every little animal home, there is a LOT more to do. So basically the game never stops being fun. And there aren’t that many glitches or bugs -have fun playing!
I love this game. Pretty good for a running type of game. Fast paced and stuff. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is because after every run, there’s an ad, but the worse part about the ad is that you have to click the X three different times! They also only have, like, two bosses. But other than those two things, pretty solid game. I’ve loved it since I was six!
For a free to play game, it’s actually not half bad. Usually I steer clear of f2p auto-runners but with this one you can unlock things without spending a dime. Gameplay is good, nothing too revolutionary, but fun enough to keep playing. Ads are a pain, but not too frequent. I grew up with Sonic, so I might be bias..but it’s a great game.
I do not know whats going on with this game. Whenever I try to open the game it has no music on. Also when I try to press play it doesn’t work it just stays like that and freezes. Another thing I been experiencing is that when I try to change worlds it doesn’t let me the button is just stuck. I been installing and unstalling over and over and it doesn’t change. If you guys are able to fix it I would be thankful and give a 5 stars. But for right now it’s a 2 star.
The game is amazing I love it so much it’s an endless run so you can go on forever the only problem I have is the updates that happened a while ago first of all the temple Zone used to be night time all the time it had dark sky and stars then they changed it to daytime and now it’s going to hard to look at it’s kind of boring and it used to be built different. Also if they made the zones eat it easier to complete Also if they made the zones easier to complete it would be a little bit better. Yes
I’ve been playing this game for about 3 years now and it’s fun. They’ve been doing constant events for new characters lately which keeps ot fresh. However I have 2 big gripes. They haven’t added a new zone in a long time aside from an event zone. Which I feel would be nice to change it up a little. The other one is occasionally the extra rewards won’t automatically get brought to you which occasionally makes them easy to miss. Neither of those are too bad though. The game is simple but fun.
Been playing this on and off for years and no matter what, whenever I install this game I always really enjoy playing it. Plenty of achievements, good gameplay, a huge variety of characters to collect AND it saves my data. EDIT: The previous update has added both pop-up ads at the bottom of the screen and forced advertisements after races with no obvious way to pay to remove them. EDIT 2: Had to buy something to remove them, it doesn’t say that though…
This game is great. It’s an endless runner full of badniks and hard obstacles to dodge. The ads aren’t fun unless they are for rewards, like a revive, or free rings. Sometimes the really hard parts are when it turns into a nonstop swiping game swiping leftrightupupdownleftrightrightleftleft, it’s really insanely hard. Tracks are great, though there aren’t many and I wish they would add more. Thanks, SEGA.
The games physics and mechanics are good. The designs for the maps and characters are cool. My only problem is that there aren’t many bosses and the game hasn’t had any new bosses in years and there aren’t any new maps either. The maps haven’t been updated since forever. Another thing is that the characters super sonic or whatever may look cool and all but they just feel like skins added to your original character they should have some sorta ability or something that makes them unique.
I’m a bit upset right now because my game is bugging out and not letting me do anything but run with the character I currently have selected. Can’t change that either. It’s also telling me I have 10 rewards to collect even though you can’t collect that many. It doesn’t show the ongoing event and that I completed it, and I can’t equip power-ups or change the zone area in the background that I’m fixing. Please help
This game is great! Nice graphics, simple game mechanisms, fun gameplay and lots of character customisation. Not too many ads but you can just turn your WiFi off to get rid of them and it won’t affect your gameplay. I may be biased because I’ve loved sonic my whole life but I definitely would recommend this game if you’re looking for a good alternative to the home console sonic games! 🙂
Fun, addictive, simple, and time consuming. The graphics are average and character models have some dead blank stares but honestly it isn’t a problem, it’s a mobile game and it’s decent fun I like playing this when I’m waiting to go somewhere etc. Not pay to win and the ads aren’t in your face as much as other games. Overall good fun would recommend to anyone who likes Sonic.
The visual experience of this game is great but the problem is with the number of ads that constantly pops up. Also, when there’s a point of high leap in the game, the jump scroll up doesn’t work letting the game finish off early and after using stars or watching an ad to continue, too many blocks start appearing, letting it almost impossible to continue that round ending just within seconds. Also I didn’t found anything special in game except running and dogging two easy villains constantly.
Fun enough. Gets REALLY grindy as you get further in, unless you feed into micro-transactions. Kind of wish the Tasks asked a little more of you sometimes, like “collect 500 rings in one run” or “hit 5 springs in the same run” or “defeat 15 spikes in 1 minute” and stuff like that. The bosses get very repetitive too, it would be fun to see bosses from other games incorporated. Also I direly want an ad-free version. I would pay money to not watch ads.
Everyday I collected the Christmas items to try and get the Christmas characters. Never got a single one. So that sucks. It would be better if it was guaranteed to get them if you kept doing it. That’s a disappointment. This game is fun, but the way it was before the whole money thingy and that was better. Hopefully you increase this game and next time make the event characters guaranteed if you collect the items please. Thank you
I really like this game. I have been playing it for about 6 years. But they stopped doing updates. Sure they keep on adding every new sonic event but I really want like maybe upgrade there graphics And some times the game lags and causes me to lose a high score But other than that the game is awesome!
I love sonic dash as much as I did back when I first played it. The only reason I’m giving the game a three star review is because A: the obstacles in snow mountain zone come at you even faster than sonic. And B: if there’s one thing I absolutely positively most definitely and personally miss about the original version the most it’s the way the time of day would change everytime you jump on a spring. If you could bring it back the next time you update the game I’d greatly appreciate it.
It’s a fantastic game, it is better than subway surfers. The game has an objective to defeat bosses. You have to rescue animal friends from Egg man’s Badnik robots. You have to build a home for your animal friends. In doing this you have xp and your multiplier doubles. You get amazing rewards for completing challenges in the game. I signed in to their newsletter to have Rogue character.
This game is such a fun game, I unlocked a lot of characters. Some of them have different running, styles and models. One problem though…The game lags sometimes and there are a lot of bugs. Fix them please. Also add classic tails, classic knuckles, classic amy and the other classic characters in the game.
It’s good for what it is, but I would like to see more variety with the bosses and zones. I feel like the bosses could be a lot more fun if it wasn’t the same thing over and over. It’s repetitive and gets boring really fast. Another complaint I have is how slow the whole thing is when you’re in the air. It can do a Sonic Rush thing and use quick time events on there. It would be a lot more fun and fast. This game could be a lot better. It feels like the bare minimum, but it’s at least addicting
This is just your basic subway surfers rip off but with worse controls and more micro transactions. Sure being able to play as all of these cool Sonic characters is nice, but they’re all 4$ and there are literally only TWO unlockables that will take you forever to get without paying for currency. The gameplay is bad, the animations are just recycled for every character, there are plenty of unfair moments, and the models also look terrible and like they were ripped straight out of the PS2.
The game is fun and immersive with the new events where u can collect characters that need to be paid and they give ample time to do so ranging from a week. My experience in this game is that it doesn’t just spam ads at u and these ads can be used to get some rewards. It is an overall good game and u should try playing it
Good game, but lately, I’m starting to see my game not registering my movement or they do the exact opposite to what I’m telling it to do. Plus sky zone is near impossible after level 10, it’s like it’s setting you up to fail. Removing stars till this is fixed.
The advert for POPJAM when it either ends or I press the x it always crashes. It shows a loading circle and you have to restart the game to continue playing, no other adverts do this. Apart from that it’s a good game to pass some time.
Not gonna lie, I haven’t played this game in years, admittedly the redesigns for the badniks made them look less “intimidating” but I can’t fault Sega for that. Super happy that they’re adding more characters to the game. The part where you earn characters by repairing the environment is strange but I don’t mind personally. Great game if you’re a sonic fan but want something more casual
Really good game I really like it. The events are frequent and fair and there aren’t any glitches I’ve experienced. My only problem is that most of the events for new characters are the same and collecting 250 character tokens gets boring after a while.
Sonic The Hedghog Themed Endless Runner. Graphics and animations are flawless. It is interesting how often the algorithm changes procedural generated obstacles based on how well you are performing. Generous amount of power ups. Nice pace of the introduction to the game. IAP’s are considerate and are non intrusive. Obtainable challenges so far. (early days) Recommend for any age, mild cartoon violence (IAP’s in menus). Great Job 👏
I love playing this game because it’s very fun, and usually it’s very easy. My only problem is that it kind of overpriced once you get past the first two islands it becomes extremely hard. So far, every single time you play, you always end up using so many gems. You’re basically relying on missions and rewards to keep you going. So I’m just going to give this a 4 star review.
