The game is a great time killer, and very addictive. It is simple and the standard set usually takes 3 minutes or less. The advanced is harder and has some unsolvable boards that can be frustrating, but even that can be fun at times. Ads are not intrusive and most are less than 20 secs (mostly 5-10).
I am enjoying this game on a daily basis. It;s challenging but there is an issue with some of the goals. It gives you the goal but not what you need to do to complete the goal. I have played game after game and never completed that goal so I had to change to another one. Secondly right now the Daily Challenge for January 11 will not complete. I have done this particular day over and over and over and it still shows uncompleted for the month. Other than these small issues, it’s fun.
The ads, guys. Just finished playing game number 5. In that time, I had three ads pop up. Normally not the biggest deal breaker but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM had their skip button (>>) placed so close to my camera that it was*impossible* to hit. I have a Pixel 4a. Every single time, I had to close and reopen the ad because there was no other way around it. Uninstalled.
What a great new solitaire card game! It’s always fun, colorful, smooth-playing, and interesting. It’s just challenging enough (and they’re playful and generous with helpful hints as needed.) I don’t recall what the no-ads cost was, but I’m sure it was modest, and I haven’t seen even one ad in all the time I paid to not have any! This is the only new solitaire card game I’ve ever played that I think is as good as Topsy-Turvy Queens. I’m so glad I downloaded this one! Onward to the next castle!
I like most of the mobilityware games, including this one. I have seven of them on my phone. I love the setups–easy to understand–and the graphics, some of which you can change. It’s fun to try to get faster the more levels you advance to and even at my age–78–I am able to do so. I don’t even mind the ads which you can stop after seconds of viewing. And I don’t have any trouble with crashing on any of the games, sometimes a little freezing but it’s negligible. Keep up the good work!
It’s pretty fun, but does have some issues. The ads are so excessive that they quickly make the game feel like a chore, which is really annoying, but what’s more annoying is the fact that there’s no option to filter out impossible deals. I’m a fan of difficult deals, but mapping out every possible sequence of moves to find that none of them lead to a solution is pretty disappointing. If you’re going to make me watch an ad before every deal, at least make sure it’s a valid deal first.
On Feb. 1, I rated Castle as 4 stars. I am changing it to 1 star only. I am in the 65+ age group. The levels get harder and harder to the point that I try several games that I cannot solve them. (Level 100 and up). Ads are deceiving. They say “Update Required”. It is NOT an update. It will install a different game!! Watch for a box in the upper left. Click on Close!!!
First of all, i think MobilityWare has the best card games out there. That said, i would really like to see a daily challenge for this game. The ads for this game are short. When they do pop up its super easy to back out of them without losing any progress you’ve made. Honestly, that goes across the board for all MobiltyWare games. I highly reccomend ANY of their games. WTG developers!
This used to be a great game, yes it had ads but they only lasted 5 seconds & you only had to click once and then get on with the game, now it’s 2 or 3 times at least to get to the next game, some games just have a black screen??. The introduction of the gambling ads are the worst, they take multiple clicks to dissapear & they shouldn’t be allowed! The game now keeps freezing up & I have to restart every game. Very frustrating.
Good old castle solitaire. No pay walls. No limited lives. Just download and play. Yes, there are ads when starting a new game. Yes, you can pay to get rid of them, but it’s affordable if the ads bother you, but honestly you hardly notice. Thank you for making a game that we can just play and enjoy!
Yes, my phone isn’t remotely new, but there simply is no reason for the constant crashing. Most recently, it just crashed 3 times in 10 minutes. That is an obscene amount of instability for a freaking CARD game. I’m not trying to play Cyberpunk on a Tandy. I’ve sent several crash reports which are likely just ignored. Uninstalled.
The game is great and I used to love how the ads were set up to easily take advantage of or easily escape after reasonable viewing. Lately some ads (especially candy crush) force closing the game and restarting. It would rate at least 4.5 if not for this. Very frustrating!
Was perfect until recent change which causes you to lose more often than you win. Played seven straight losing games before I was able to win one, then went to the losing streak again. I began you to reconsider this change. I shall miss this solitaire if it does not change
I love this game. I have it on 2 phones. The game on my new phone keeps closing, can you fix this? That was absolutely my bad! I installed a cache cleaner on my phone, and Castle was the only game that acted up. I have 5 other games. I uninstalled the app cleaner after doing some checking, and Castle is doing great. Again, my apologies.
There are ads all the time. And I have no idea how or why but every single ad turns my volume all the way down for no reason. Also every time I click out of the ad it glitches and shows like three more. I have to exit the game and reopen to get out of it.
This is the worst. The ads are insidious and unrelenting. You hit the little “x”, and you’re thrown over to the play store, or you have to hit an x 3 different times, meaning that my wishes don’t matter. NEVER, never again.
I really enjoyed this game and it was one of my go-to games for a long time. Unfortunately, the powers that decide what ads to include on their app has turned to highly suggestive sexual content. I don’t know what made anyone think it was a good idea to go in this direction, but just as they have the right to their opinion, I, also, have the right to decide this is a terrible mistake and that I will have nothing to do with it.
You can no longer claim that ads can be skipped after 5 seconds. Most have multiple ad layers that last 5 sec or more each. The Fishdom and relateds serve ads through a deceptive and sticky website that is difficult to get rid of.
This is a great game but it really needs some further content on the rewards. You loop through the counties your concurring each game. It would have been cool to see a world map and move on from the like 6 they give us.
challenges, strategy, and a certain amount of luck, plus great graphics and games that are resolved in a matter of minutes. l have enjoyed playing this game for some time. a much better version of solitaire.
Paid for this game. Still can not recycle the pile to continue the game. Not seeing the arrows that the help files state are there. This rating may change depending on your answer. Canceled my subscription Due to lack of interest by development team.
I can’t believe what I just saw – it was an anime VERY EXPLICIT homosexual encounter between men. It was so graphic and disturbing to think this was an ad on a game for adults AND kids. It literally could have been soft porn. You should be ashamed of yourselves for using this advertising (I don’t even know what it was advertiding for) when kids use this game! I actually like the game and would have given it 5 stars but that totally ruined it.
NOT installing cause you have to be under a contract!! It’s a shame it looks to be so much fun at that to play!! I do not mind the advertisements, it helps to keep the game free to play!! What I do mind is having to agree with your private policy!!
Not getting any response from App otherwise not interested with this app. If user struggling to solve solution not coming immediately. Lots of bugs. App is not properly designed. In Hard mode one game out of five cannot solve & even solution is also not given. Narmal mode is also having same issue. In statistics number of games lost is not having solution.
I don’t generally care about the ads at the end of the game. What I do mind is having to close the ad between 5 and 8 times to get back to the game due to a website glitch. Get your act together!!
I too am having the game crashing.I get started and couple seconds in and it goes back to my home screen.Very annoying !! I uninstalled it and then installed it but,no change.I even restarted my phone and it didn’t help.If it doesn’t get fixed I will permanently uninstall it.I love the game but, it not worth it if it continues to do this.
it’s a decent game, but sometimes I wish I could put it on easy & mindlessly win when I’m just trying to pass out. The ads are frustrating, but few ads aren’t and in my opinion they’re worth putting up with for the interesting game
I love this game it’s fun and challenging but the excessive ads are too much! There’s ads after every game! Some ads run a half minute some keep me in a loop for a minute that I can’t get out of! I’m so done with the frustration and have uninstalled this app!
So. Many. Ads. The worst part is they interrupt smooth game play. That siad, this is a really fun, unique solitaire game so I ended up paying to remove ads for one year (it’s either monthly or yearly).

A simple, fun version of Solitaire. You have to go through some ads to play the game for free, but they’re not that much of a bother.
Had the app for a few years on different devices. Got all the castle puzzles out. Now when I play l get the different countries with their castle locations. They are like “ground hog day” . Only a limited number of countries. Played them all and now onto a third time round with them.
Castle Solitare is having me play castles I’ve already completed in October and November. I completed all the castles in October and November on purpose as well as done extra castles in December. I want them to recognize what I have done and then I can continue as I was. As a matter of fact, I’m going on in December as I was because I refuse to make up something I’ve already done. thank you

Ok, an ad every once in a while earns the developers some cash, but this is AWFUL! It drives to a long loop back and forth into G Play. Total waste
I like the game, had never played Castle Solitaire before….but seems like the Daily Challenges are getting harder to do. I think there should be an option to bring up the Solution to watch if you’re having a hard time.
Too many ads. And when the x comes up, it won’t go away. Have to shut game completely down to get out of and. Or it wants you to install a game that you don’t want to. It also will quit responding. The clock is counting, but won’t move the cards.
A feasible fun time for all. Different from original solitaire, you must stack the same colored cards. I found this variation, to be satisfactory. There are a few handicap features, accessory to this game. However, once I had used them for awhile, I adapted to their helpful charm positively. This game can get addicting. I would give it a 3.5 / 5
Ads. I get it, it’s how this game stays free. What REALLY irritates me, is ads that you click to bypass, and the ad takes you to the new game Play Store location anyway. I don’t care if you tell me you have no control over ads that are sent, your greed in allowing ads is my beef with you.
if you like the game of solitaire you will enjoy this game of castle it’s designed to make you want to play and make castle Asap Everytime you create a run from ace thru king in a suit, a flag will come down to indicate you gave completed the suit a (example) hearts a red flag covers the completed run. Each suit has a different colored Flag that indicates a complete run I’ve explained little about the game try it yourself to see the score, time,and moves. I rate this game a 5 star 🌟 game
