This is the worst app. So many ads that you can hardly use the remote. The ads pop up whenever you press any button on the remote, and without warning, that you accidentally hit them while using the remote. Then it takes you to the ads website or to the play store. VERY annoying! Imagine having to watch an ad every time you want to use the remote for anything at all. I would give zero stars if I could
BEFORE they had ads, I would give this app 5 stars because it WAS very easy to use and fast to respond. Now when you try to use it, you’re immediately forced with an ad as soon as you open the app. Then they keep coming like every 30 seconds or after every 5 clicks, the worst part is they will pop up without warning so you’ll be trying to click on the remote and suddenly an ad pops up and it takes you to their website or play store. I’m just trying to use a remote, not see 3 ads every minute.
I made a review a couple of days ago after that the roku channel started to give a problem. I’ve been watching Bull on my tablet and every so often it would reset and not let me back in to watch where i lift off. I can’t find the settings on the app. Its up to date,i have an account. I don’t know what more to do i just want to finish watching Bull. The remote is awesome no problem there.
This was a service I wanted to use in between procuring a replacement Roku remote. Now I’m left stressed & trying to cancel 24+ hours before trial service due date. $10 a year isn’t the worst but does me no good when it barely works as is. Tonight & purchased a new Roku set~up w remote @ Walmart & now I’m out of the fee for trying to use my cell as a remote. Boo! Was always glitchy, slow, limited options. Sorry to be a downer but this wasn’t all I needed it to be😬
