    The app is incredibly frustrating to use. It’s slow, and basic tasks like blocking a device are unreliable. I often have to attempt it 4 or more times before it actually works, as the app repeatedly says, “Hmmm. That didn’t work.” This makes managing my devices unnecessarily time-consuming and annoying. For a smarthome app, I expected better reliability and efficiency. Needs serious improvements.

  2. This is the best network management application I have ever used. It offers many ways to troubleshoot independently, which greatly frees up customer support. I would improve the chat feature by debugging the live agent option. Disclaimer: Do not close or navigate away from the “live chat” window; otherwise, you will be disconnected. Also, ensure you send a message every 2 minutes. This is the only glitchy problem with the app, and I didnt find it bad enough to remove a star. Thanks ATT!

    This app is good, but so inconsistent. The fingerprint access stopped working a long time ago. Despite it being enabled, it still asks for my password. My main reason for use is to alert me when unknown devices join my network. But since the last update, it is alerting me when my own saved devices join the network. I have them saved to profiles, so it should not be alerting. This is very annoying.

  4. Great app when it actually works. App kicked me out when I was love chatting with a representative to troubleshoot the reason why I kept getting an error for “technical hiccups”. I hit “Try again” twice and then couldn’t type anymore despite getting messages from the representative and had to hit “Restart” which made have to start the whole process over. You can also never see what you’re typing to the representative. UI needs work.

  5. This app is very frustrating. I installed it last night to set up my new all-fi air hub. The app worked fine. Today anything I try to do like running the speed test, check wifi signal or manage wifi, it tells me I need to connect to wifi. At the same time it lists my phone as connected device. I un-installed app and installed it again , nothing changed. What is going on?

  6. I love the service. I never have any issues, but one of the main reasons I use the app is for downtime. I have 3 kids with multiple devices. It never works properly, no matter the time frame of the downtime or the day it doesn’t turn them off. I am also unable to create downtime for two of my kids, so I have to manually pause them every night. I have uninstalled the app, removed the profiles and recreated them, removed the down time, and recreated it. Nothing works. I’d love some help with this.

  7. When the app works it does what i need it to do. The problem is i can’t get connected when I need to. The app says there’s an issue 90% of the time. It’s too inconsistent yet I have no other choice when setting parental controls and blocking unwanted devices. The app has got to be fixed or att you need to open up for users to control without this inconsistent app.

  8. Never loads each tab accrately and always says, “Looks like we’re having trouble”. Used to be a way better in that I could actually use and troubleshoot from but now it’s a waste of space and useless. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to disengage using the app shortcut feature, yet it still pops up….unwanted. Loading lags severely, which is a huge irritation.

    During troubleshooting, sometimes you cannot type an answer if there are no preset answers. It’s very frustrating. The question that I cannot reply to is the color of power LED light so my troubleshooting never continues beyond that point. I’ve had a new AT&T service for less than a month and it seems I’m having my network offline more than I ever had with the previous Wi-fi Hub.

    Do not bother with this app. If your network goes down and you need to troubleshoot it this app will just leave you hanging. Prompts to the virtual assistant dont show up, you cant type and tell the bot whats wrong. So your just left in the dark until you can get ahold of a technician. So at this point whats the point of the app. Everything this app does a web browser does better (internet speed test, troubleshooting ect)

  11. Update: I did a factory reset on the all fi hub and the app is working as it should. Held the reset button for 10 seconds until it displayed “Reset” and, so far, problem solved. It used to be great. Since I switched to Internet Air, it doesn’t work. I have had it work after restarting the hub, but even that is a crapshoot. It shows my network offline and won’t load connected devices. I have tried clearing the cache and data, reinstalling, and I have made sure updates are done. Nothing helps.

    This app is the absolute worst, and the service is not much better. If you block a device from connecting, it will show the block icon, but the internet is still active. It’s hit or miss being able to turn on the “downtime” for profiles, adding or removing devices to profiles works when it wants to. Even pausing a device doesn’t work. One computer can sign on once, get paused, and then reconnect with the same device description but have a brand new active connection. There has to be a better way

  13. December 2024 Update – App has become unusable. Every time I launch it “Looks like we’re having trouble.” A reinstall fixed it once, now no dice. Shouldn’t be this difficult to operate an app aimed at non-techies. July 2024 Update – Going downhill. I’ve lost my ability to pause groups’ access to the internet. The button is there but the pop-up menu to select a duration is broken/missing. I’ve cleared cache with no help.

  14. Internet Air Compatibility? I’m not sure if it is the app or not, but I got a new internet tower on Monday, tried hooking it up, but for whatever reason it doesn’t recognize the old and the new internet towers. It is a little frustrating because the serial number doesn’t work either. I did through my sister too, who is the account holder. So it’s a bit aggravating if the app is broken.

  15. This used to be a semi helpful app, I could pause and or block devices. Now it no longer allows me to even though it still shows the features. The home screen is aggravating as it’s always asking about the settings. What is the point of the app anymore? I can’t restart my router all by myself. The VERY FEW features it did have don’t work anymore. And why is it blocking websites I didn’t ask or to?

    The app is useful when it works. It is extremely buggy and can take a long time to load. Sometimes it doesn’t load at all. I use it to control my children’s screen time. They found out that they can bypass me pausing the internet by unplugging the modem and then plugging it back in again. I now have to block devices one by one if I want them to not be on their devices, but sometimes the app won’t let me block certain devices for whatever reason.

  17. I don’t typically leave freebies, but this app is garbage. I can NEVER see my connected devices. I’ve been trying to connect an extender for 2 weeks and the app will never open correctly. Tried deleting devices, accidentally blocked one on the ONE time I got the app to work… and wouldn’t you know it, the app stopped working and I couldn’t unblock the device. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

    The app is fine, but it’s really annoying that you can’t “forget” devices. You can BLOCK them, but my “previously connected devices” list is way too long and I want to be able to clean it up. Edit: I’m going to switch internet providers ASAP because I keep blocking devices in the app and then minutes later THEY ARE UNBLOCKED. This is terrible.

  19. Profiles do not work. It is possible to pause Wi-Fi on an individual device. But if I create a Profile and add the device(s) then content filters, time limits, and pausing Wi-Fi for the Profile does not work at all. Why can’t ATT just open up their gateway like any other router and allow us to add parental controls there instead of having an app plus subscription that does not work?

For a technology company they sure don’t know how to run or maintain an app. Where to start with what’s wrong with the app, Half the time it says something went wrong and you can’t do anything simple like pause a child’s device or check data usage, App is dumb and every new device is an “unknown” device like come on its a nintendo, when u used got be able to pause devices it had to be from a group not just an individual device. Att, please look at the comcast app. It did everything right.
