The tutorial is very helpful in learning how to play game as it is kind of tricky to line up all of flower correctly to make them bloom. In doing the first bloom point is pretty easy as the flowers seem to come together without any problems. However as you progress it becomes more challenging in getting the bigger flower blooms to clear the levels. In line it up becomes quite the challenges as well when the number flower bloom are involved to clear as well. This is without any special move piece
This game is really cute and unique. It’s fun but there’s one thing that just ruins the play: the hints start nearly immediately and repeat like a turn signal until you make your move. And there’s no way to turn hints off. I thought maybe it was just on the beginner levels – nope. Apparently its been an issue for some players, (but not all) since at least 2019 – and there’s still no way for players to turn hints off. It’s very distracting and it really kills the game. Reluctantly uninstalling
Not sure why, but the most recent update is causing the screen to freeze after claiming the daily tool. It is fine if I play offline, but I have to leave and restart the game if online. Hope it can be fixed in the next update. Love this game otherwise. 9/8 – Thank you for fixing it; works great once again…updated rating to reflect.

I really enjoyed this game for a long time. It’s a pretty game, soothing and great for just some mindless unwinding. But I didn’t care for the sudden and abrupt change to gameplay. No warning and requests to return a particular aspect – the map – was denied. Happy to return if the map is reinstalled.
I love this game, but I really miss the wild cards. It gave me something to play for when the level is hard to complete. Was bummed out that I lost the wild cards I worked so hard to collect. No daily gifts. No bonuses for completing anything! Get about 12- 16 minutes of play, then have to wait 2 1/2 hours to fully recharge for 15 more minutes of play! Loosing interest really fast. Too many fun games to play that give bonuses. Not even worth buying lives, play time is too quick & cost too much
I’ve spent a lot of time playing this and enjoy it quite a bit. However, the game tends to be very frequently buggy. A lot of the levels are completely RNG dependant instead of skill based. Sometimes it can be a bit slow to play when all the flowers bloom at once, making you stare at it for several seconds. I swear I thought there used to be a fast forward option but idk if it was removed? Anyway overall it’s colorful and cute just far from perfect
Fun game with challenging levels. But it often seems like they put the ability to complete levels just out of possibility unless you’re willing to spend money on tools or extra moves. And, if you’re not willing to spend, it may take days of trying to get past some levels, because the game does not eventually adjust to you. And, the most recent update took away the bonuses, so the only way to get anything is to spend. What used to be daily fun and relax time has now become tedious.
Some levels may throw you for a bit, but once you get it the next level seems like a breeze. It,s a game of highs and lows. Very entertaining and consistently changing levels, which is something I look for. As well if you are a super fanatic with games and love to get high levels I’m on level 907 and I feel so accomplished. Not a game filled with rewards but definitely something to pass the time and achieve some brain waves moving. Keeps you on your toes. Love it.
It’s a fun and relaxing game to play. I only have one complaint stopping me from giving a high rating. They added a new aspect that, while adding another challenge and making it a better puzzle game, made it seemingly impossible to play older levels. I like to go back and replay levels to chanllange myself by trying to get 3 stars on all levels. Now I can’t even look back to see which levels I failed to get 3 stars in. Please fix.
I used to love this game. Unfortunately I updated the app about a week ago and ever since then it will not open. It always freezes at the orange King loading screen or the screen just turns black. Edit: One week later, still no update to fix my issue and no response from King. I gave up and uninstalled the game since it can’t even load. I reinstalled and unfortunately my play history is gone and the game started at level one. I dont want to restart so I won’t be playing Blossom Blast anymore.
I’ve enjoyed playing this game until I needed a little assistance to get past a level. The ONLY assistance I’ve found is MONEY! No possibility of earning rewards for successful advancement. Some levels are impossible to get past without eventually buying your way through it out of sheer frustration! Feels like extortion! Other than that, I love it. Just be prepared to open your wallet!
Personally I don’t like the recent UI changes. Some things are too big and others too small. I’m playing on an older phone and some transitions are very laggy. I’m playing on level 1638 and it’s impossible to do 3 stars without spending massive power ups. Also the flower size is not increased after playing the level for a while – why? Looks like they are trying to make free to play impossible. Getting new life every 10 minutes instead of 30 doesn’t help me.
Mostly fun, could use improvement. I find it relaxing to the brain. Since Android 10 update boosters don’t work. The help information is not very helpful. I don’t understand the rankings and there seems to be no overall challenge or reward. The bloom bursting is inconsistent and I don’t know why or how. Hard to really strategize without game information.
Fun game but purposefully broken. I’ve been playing it for a long time. It’s frustrating to you find yourself with only 1 move available that leads to 1 move and so on until you fail. They seem to do it on purpose so people have to buy tools to pass sooner than whenever they actually give you a winnable set. You might repeat a level 20 times, failing not because you did anything wrong but because you never got what you needed. Not from birds, bees, snails, etc. Just not a winnable set of tiles.
Wasn’t really diggin'(garden pun intended)this game. Also, the flowers are too small and my finger too big. Makes it hard to see exactly where I’m swiping. I suppose the concept of the game is good and I’m sure it may be enjoyable to some. I got only 4 levels in before deciding I’m not a fan of this game. Just seems very basic and the graphics aren’t the best.
Love the game, hate the bugs in the app. I have been playing this for years but recently I have to uninstall and reinstall it at least once a week because when I open the app I only get a black screen. I’m guessing this is a bug with the latest update 🤷♀️. The reinstall works for another week but it is incredibly annoying. Fix this and I’ll give it 5 stars Update to my previous review: I am now unable to send lives to my friends. I just an error that something went wrong
Periodically an update comes out that changes the game in a fundamental way. That’s what has happened. The game is substantially slower, if you have to retry a level you get the exact same game level each time, the level map has been changed and is much slower to navigate, these are the ones that are most noticable. I will check it periodically and until it’s fixed I’m done.
Not my favorite King game. I love candy crush games. But the games that are really different, like this one and the farm one, move slower. Between moves, between levels, all of that. Their more original games are more seamless. I just can’t handle the wait between every other move, or 30 seconds to start the next level. At least put an ad in there to win a bonus item or something. I’m about to try candy crush friends. I hope that one is less frustrating and more fun.
Loved playing this game before the newest update. Now, it won’t allow me to play keeping freezing on the level selection screen. IF I am lucky enough to make it past that, the game freezes up a few moves in and has to be force closed. Please fix *update* why is it no longer an option to replay past levels?? Come on! Between this and the fact that it is STILL freezing, I am uninstalling
This game needs some work. Making big blooms is satisfying, but the scoring overall is unrealistic and not rewarding. I have more levels where I barely got one star, and that was with moves left over. The points you get for blooms feels unbalanced, and even when you’re chaining, the points are minimal at best. Obviously, stars don’t matter in terms of gameplay, but it feels disheartening to see all of the levels I’ve finished with only one star and feeling like it’s not worth it to keep playing.
Been playing for like a year or more and it’s a good game. I wish they would put back the screen where it takes you directly to the level instead of the map because it was easier then. I get frustrated at some levels but that’s a good thing to have a challenge instead of beating a level right off the bat. I also wish there were cheaper options to buy things in a game I don’t want to spend $5 but if things were like $0.99 I would probably buy more things to help me through some levels.
The original map was BEAUTIFUL. I loved being able to replay my favorite levels, and I loved moving up through the worlds. Since the update, the map and worlds are gone! AND I’m unable to acquire gold bars. Not much fun to play anymore. Super disappointed in the recent changes. Might uninstall if it isn’t put back to old layout soon.
I have enjoyed playing this game enough to actually make in app purchases. But, I have had a lot of trouble with the game freezing after I have spent gold to continue playing. I also am not getting any credit for gifts, or bonuses. I have emailed customer support with my issues. Their response is they are too busy. I must continue to email in order to get any more action. Refund my money. Period.
I like this game, the biggest downfall AND the reason for the 3 stars, is how long the flowers bloom/explodes, etc.. at the end of each level when you beat it… Most games like this, let u skip all that. I wouldn’t mind not being able to skip it, if didn’t take sooooooooo looong to finish. Its like having to watch an add at the end of each level… But longer. I like to just move on, uninstalling 😕
Update: Thank you, thank you, thank you the maps are back!! This game combines my favorite things: flowers and explosions. The chain reactions are most satisfying. The maps are works of art, please think twice about taking them away again. I was in love with this game then you took away the map! I have favorite levels and now I can’t get to them. I’m going to keep checking daily and sending lives to my friends but going back to playing on my laptop. Don’t you mess up that too!
This game is fun to play, however, it doesn’t play fair when you have extra turns left after completing various tasks to win each level. I wish that I, the player, had control of the extra turns. My scores would be significantly higher if I had control. With 11 turns being added as extra points my score would have increased by 66000 points. Its simply not fair that the game cheats and uses up all my extra turns.
i love playing the game. I don’t love that there is no “exit” button on any of the 3 King games I’ve played recently. I’ve deleted them all from my phones. Specifically on Blossom they wanted me to log in to save game before accepting lives from friends. The system wouldn’t accept my password. I reset the password, twice, and it STILL wouldn’t accept my password.
Still like the game, but the graphics are not great. I can barely see the numbers in the levels for points, moves left, and needed points (like in the big blossom levels, where you break down the bigger blossoms. Not a big fan of the more cartoonish features either. Jan 2021, I can’t open the app at all.
It as fun easy game at first. Once you start getting farther in the game, it starts get ridiculous. They add flower pots and glass that you have to break. Then they add moles, and crows as added challenges. I’m not sure how much longer I am going to play this game. I got because I wanted to destress and have a nice mindless game. Now I have to start thinking about strategy.
Fun for the first 120 levels or so, then just annoying because the levels are literally predetermined to win or lose. The bees are absolutely infuriating, and you can bet 100% of the time will block your last move to keep you from beating the level. I started playing because it was fun and relaxing to watch the blossoms bloom. Now it’s just aggrivating.
I’ve enjoyed the game a great deal, even with the difficult levels. Unfortunately that enjoyment stops at level 2222. Which after 8 attempts I can’t get more than 3 moves in before it ends the level by saying no moves possible. There are so many “difficulty” aspects between slime, spaces to move, the bees, mushrooms, and only starting with 6 flowers (3 in 2 spots) its basically impossible to get more than 2 moves, even with a reshuffling.
I enjoy this game but been stuck on level 113 which is impossible to beat-with the number of moves given. I’m uninstalling. too frustrating for me. ive-tried 20 times. ok so now I tried the game again, and stuck on level 65. I have tried over and over again. The flower is in the middle with large space all around it so never get close to it. If you redo this I will try again.
I used to love this game, I really liked the wild cards, but because of a handful of whiny-babies, we have the map back instead. Woohoo. :- Yeah you can go back and get a better score on old levels, wow that makes you look so cool, said no one EVER, at all. However, some levels are super annoying without the wildcards so I just play less and have downloaded a few new games instead. So I consider the update (or revert, for dummies) to be a great advertisement for other games less frustrusting.
Really love this game. The graphic’s are expressive. Just what I’ve come to expect from a King game. Loads of fun, have to make myself stop playing.😎😆😇🤗 I find that I need to amend my initial great review of this game. A recent update has now chaged the length of time for lives to regenerate from the standard 12 hour to an hour. This is terrible and makes it harder to earn the “dasies” within the alloted time. So I took back 2 stars, its almost a deal breaker.
Best guilty pleasure, but not-that-easy game out there…and I have tried at least 200 games. It’s the only unique game that has yet tried by others to be copied. And be prepared–it may take more than two or three days to pass a level. It is both the kindness of the computer and skills you slowly pick up as you play. Making it easier would take the fun away.
I would have given it 5 stars if there was a way to turn off or at least delay the hints. I can’t stand to play a puzzle game and be shown the answer within two seconds of looking. I would also raise my rating if the bees wouldn’t make the game damn near impossible. There are too many at a time and they are 95% blocking any kind of productive move. I get that they are supposed to complicate the game a little but it shouldn’t be so much that it makes me feel triggered.
It’s a great, fun game to play but it really annoys me in-game, if you don’t directly connect flowers to a bud for a period of time, it forces you to do it, ruining my lineup for a move. It would be 5 stars if they gor rid of this one feature as this really annoys me.
Love the game but new levels randomly disappear. I’ll be halfway through one of the 20 level “chunks” and the next time I go in to play, that level and upcoming levels are gone. Then I have to wait for weeks for “new” levels that were there previously. Very frustrating
Lovely game EXCEPT that after I completed the first 40 lvls, sadly I decided to uninstall this game and here’s why – 1. There aren’t any incentives to log in & play which would make the game almost perfect! Not one FREE piece of Gold is given for daily logging in. 2. Boosters aren’t given or even earned, you need Gold to buy them. 3. There are no rewards after you complete any lvl. I did spend $10 to buy and use a few boosters but I can’t afford to keep doing that. More rewards = More stars!
Love this game as you can tell I’m on level 1949 but when the flowers are big enough to keep on blooming n I just like one flower to win the level n they stop or it doesn’t want to give me the color I need is BS! Also am playing another king game and it seems like it’s the same way as this one! Why do that to someone who has been playing the level so many times to win n still ends up loosing ? I want be spending money to get a win so be uninstalling!!!
