  1. Great start. Has all the basic features I need but not executed quite right. First, if one wants to see a summarized view of to-do items, it has to be done through the calendar which does not let you mark items as complete. To do so the process is tedious-find the list the To-do item is in, then search that list for the item—which is not in order by due time or apathetically, it is sorted by category. Second, we share chores in our house. There’s no way to rotate between assigned users.

  2. Jen Lo dice:

Lot of issues. When hitting the Home button in the app, it doesn’t go Home, it operates as a “back” button. It’ll take me back to where I was previously in the app like contacts or lists etc. When adding contacts from my phone, it saves the birthday as one day prior to when it is actually listed. The widget doesn’t update properly. Today is May 7th, but the 6th is still highlighted. I have to go in the widget and make an update like adding a new event for the current date to highlight.

  3. Works pretty well overall. Big issue with the calendar sharing though. It will not hold the settings for who can see the calendar. It will also randomly change who can view the calendar. Today my wife asked why she couldn’t see my schedule. Opened the settings and it had deselected her and a person I do not share my calendar with was selected.

  4. Terrible. Jumped through all the hoops, and apparently some hoops are missing. A friend recommended this app. She uses the free version and loves it. I downloaded it and all it seems to want is $$$$$$. Nothing on calendars will sync. Piece of junk…

  5. I really like this app. It is perfect for my wife and I. One thing that would make it better for us is if the list function could be like a document or have a notepad built in. We sometimes have documents that do not fit well in list format. Otherwise, a great app. We only use the free version so far.

  6. My husband and I have ADHD, so staying focused and on top of day to day stuff is challenging on its own, let alone important dates and tasks. We also have 2 kids. This app has helped us not only stay up to date with each other, but improved how we collaborate and get things done. Assigning tasks and setting reminders has been life changing. Having EVERYTHING in one app vs using multiples is so easy on our neurodivergent brains, that we paid for the year subscription. It is worth it!

  7. Easiest to look at and use calendar feature that I’ve found in my testing of several apps to find one that works for me. Drawback is inability to print but their employees are very nice and responsive to feedback. Printing is apparently in the works and they will let me know when it is rolled out, which I appreciate.

  8. Surprisingly easy to use and wonderful to have. The ability to upload and manage schedules as a house hold is nice. Built in shopping lists and to do lists. Recipes and emergency contacts for the kids. I love it. The price seems a little steep considering I can do a lot of this on Google calendar but Ill subscribe for a bit and see if I use it enough before I pay the year fee.

  9. This app is great. No insane ads for the free content, which there is plenty of! You only need to pay if you want tracking and more in depth planning like meal planning and more data. Youre not “locked out” of 90% of features for just using free content. Calendar, recipe book, messaging, contacts, lists, all easy to use. We have a lot less mundane convos on repeat about the grocery store now.

  10. The only negative about this app is also the main reason I need a family app – location tracking. This is terrible: the alerts are delayed all the time and sometimes they just don’t happen. They also come through out of order, which can make me think the person is going to opposite direction. I like the calendar and lists. They need a “notes” and/or “important info” sections.

  11. I absolutely love using this app. The calendar is convenient, I grocery list and I really enjoy that it’s just on place to track all those things for the family so anyone can add something they remember. I Love that the recipe tab has an auto fill if you enter a link. So easy. I do wish there was a section for budgeting so my husband and I could also track bills and finances conveniently in the same app. Update: Also recently upgraded to premium, and I love the meal planning feature.

  12. Liz Sax dice:

The map absolutely does not work. It shows my family members home when they aren’t, tells me they left hours after they left if it tells me anything at all. The locator map doesn’t work at all either. The calendar is fine and works well but I pay the premium membership level for the map features and it is worthless. Don’t get this app for the location service part of it as it simply does not work.

  13. Nice calendar and easy to add events and invite others, but there is ZERO notification. All notifications are set to on and the only option in the settings is to get a daily rundown of the schedule, but no alarm sounds or anything when the actual event comes up. Not even for the 30 minute reminder. Very disappointing.

  14. Alexis B dice:

A great app for my blended family of 7! Still trying to get the teenagers to put schedules on but I like that you can link Google Calendar, and the time tables and to-do lists are such a help! One simple tap if child needs to be picked up and you can share and request locations; after a volunteering event I posted pictures to our “activity” which is like our own little news feed. Better alternative to FB. 5 🤩!

  15. Trying to find a good groove & system…. Just trying to get family organized. I paid for premium, for the timetable feature only to find out it wont work for us. We have games every week so that is nice, but its not always on the same time and same court make the timetable features irrelevant. But the calendar shsring is still good and still trying to figure out how to assign items and colors, would love there to be a “household” color for chores needing to be done, but not person specific.

  16. Extremely useful and well organized application. I know this may a minor bug, but when creating recipes in the meal planner tab, sometimes the directions for the recipe will not save. After reboot, or closing the app, or going back to the home page of the app and back into the meal planner, the directions still will not save when reentered. It isn’t very consistent, and I don’t think there is a character limit, just wanted to bring it up in case for development. Overall, amazing application.

  17. So far I am enjoying this app. The location sharing, grocery shopping list, meal planner and calendar is great! I think for the premium version it offers some useful tools, but I really could use recurring tasks to organize chores though. I feel like that is a basic feature that most apps of this kind has. I hope to see that soon or I will have to switch to another family organizer. It is a shame though, because otherwise it is darn near perfect!

  18. UPDATE 1-2-2022: Sometime during 2021, I noticed that the notification issues got fixed, and app’s been great! This app had been working well for my husband and myself to keep track of things we must do, but in the past couple of weeks, the reminders have started popping up at the incorrect times than what we have them set for. I tried editing and re-saving the reminder notifications, but that didn’t work. I may have to ditch this app if I can’t depend on it.

  19. Please improve the accuracy of your app. My phone is set to high accuracy and it will give a radius of 1.2 miles and some times 2.9 miles. Also, the frequency of location updates are to far apart. Sometimes, the app will not update for 3 hours. I know this can be rectified, I have used another up the updates every ten minutes. I paid for the advanced feature of location, but it leaves a great deal to be desired.

  20. Audrey dice:

This app is close to perfect. It’s easy to use, the organization is intuitive, and it’s a great place to keep all of our info. The huge thing it’s missing is smart home integration. There are plenty of simular apps out there that integrate with Alexa and/or IFTTT, so I know it’s doable. It’s really disappointing and we”ll have to cancel our subscription if that’s not in the works. I’ve contacted the dev, so we’ll see. This app is worth paying for if you don’t care about having that.

  21. Pretty cool app, has quite the functionality, I previously had 3 or more different apps to do the same as this one, and was paying close to $13 a month for all of them combined. Now using this app I pay a lot less and am using less memory on my phone also because it’s not 3 separate apps anymore. The user interface is pretty easy to get to know, could have a little more style as far as looks go, but hey looks aren’t everything, as long as the app is useful and functioning properly I’m happy!

  22. I think this app has great potential. I would really like to see some improvements in the meal planning section, such as adding the ability to create your own collections in addition to the few listed as they don’t really help me with organizing. There also seems to be some type of bug which is making my photos and edits disappear. A chore/reward section would have everything I need in one app. Along with those improvements, having the ability to backup your data would make this app unbeatable

  23. A better integrated system than anything else I’ve found. I have separate profiles for my family, my business and my band. Great to keep everyone on the same calendar. The list function is amazing for shopping, so everyone can add to it at any time and anyone can mark off an item when purchased – no double buying, lost lists or forgotten items. Also great for sharing photos (like photos of everyone’s insurance cards). And the customer service I’ve received with questions has been amazing.

  24. I needed a Cozi alternative as Cozi is dropping shared contacts. I have been using this for 2 weeks for all functions that have been important to me. It is doing job nicely. For the most part, this is a better layout than Cozi. More compact viewing of different lists, I can find the one I want quickly. The paid version costs WAY too much, I would only like to hidereorder tiles. This seems to be reliable and very functional. Would like to be able to snooze reminders.

  25. Fantastic app!! 4 stars instead of 5 because we keep having issues with the map locations not being accurate or updating as we move throughout the day. That’s one of the main features we wanted and it has caused more stress by not working correctly than it has helped. Ex: still shows us at a location 24+hrs after leaving, shows someone left a place hours ago, but won’t update their location. Other than the map issues we love everything about it!

  26. I have 2 teenage sons at home and it was driving me crazy trying to figure out who was where and when and doing what. This app has totally organized our family, with very little effort to set up. My teens love having a tech solution to communicating within in our family. The calendar offers several options that looks similar to Google: today, 3 day, 4 month view. It has great additional features such as a shopping list that we can all add to. Lots of additional features that won’t fit here.

  27. The app is very useful even without the premium subscription. My family is taking full advantage of the messages, shared calendar and lists. A few minor issues …We seem to be experiencing a glitch where lists are showing as updated and we receive a notification when someone views them but hasn’t made any changes. Notes are hard to find again once they move down in the feed, and comments take some manuvering to locate when you get the notification. Still overall it’s a very good app.

  28. Its very organized and it’s fairly easy to figure out how it works. I love that you can select which people the event will be for. This is great for families and even polycule families! We use it for that we can communicate with all partners and not overlap schedules. Great so far! I do wish the widget for it would show the full month calendar instead just a weekly calendar :< or at least options. Oh well, it's great otherwise!

  29. I love having a place that my family can all see what’s going on for the week meals, appointments, and occasions at school. Meal planning is a breeze. I can save my recipes and just add them the the weekly meal plan then to a grocery list. The grocery list option is not that user friendly because it just takes all of the items you need for each meal and makes it in list form. It would be nice if it grouped items for the list better.

  30. Overall like the function, but have issues. There’s not a great help section. Looks like you only get one shot to add someone. Added the kids phones after we added their profile. No way to send a new notification? Calendars are often off by a day when you’re adding a new event that is recurring. Just frustrating for an app with lots of potential.

  31. I tried several times to cancel my subscription during the trial period to no avail. I couldn’t find an option anywhere in the app. It also did not (does not) show in my list of Google Play subscriptions or order history. Now, that I have been charged, there is miraculously an option to cancel my subscription. I would like a refund. UPDATE: I was contacted quickly by the app developer. They made sure my subscription was canceled and issued me a prompt refund. That kind of customer service is rare these days. Great app; it just didn’t work for my family.

  32. Loved this app at first, with remote learning I was able to add both of my sons’ complete schedules with notifications so it would remind them and me when it was time for either a zoom or a video lesson. It took a long time to get everything added and for about 2 weeks everything was perfect. Then the notifications stopped. They would either not sound at all or I would get a weeks worth the following Monday morning. So incredibly frustrating as that is the main reason I downloaded the app.

  33. It’s really basic. It’s almost worth paying for premium, but there are a few things I want. My biggest wish for this app currently is the ability to manage photos better. I wish I could create album folders. I’ve just bumped this rating to five stars. The dev’s are listening to the users, that alone is worth four stars, waiting for follow through to bump to five.

  34. Busy family of 6 with 4 dogs and 2 cats as well. Syncing calendars and assigning chores with this app is fantastic. The family locator is not quite up to my standards and notifications when kids arrive home is inconsistent. There are better chore apps with more features whereas this is a simpler to do list. I love that it has just enough of the features I was looking for and the premium is worth the $. I’d like to see some continued enhancements and features within the current framework.

  35. Updated review: The app improves significantly with all features unlocked (even though I am the only one in my family using it so far). Having everything in one place is convenient. I can make notes/assign who is buying what. Schedules are great to have so that I can manage my time more efficiently. There is definitely room to improve though. Meal plans need an option for food not prepared at home. The calendar with the free version /will/ mess up your google calendar despite not synchin

  36. It’s nice to have all of this in one app, but the problem is that there are free apps that do each of these features better. There are better calendar apps, to do / grocery list apps, recipe/meal planning apps, location tracking apps, messaging apps etc. Like I said, there is the hassle of having separate apps for all of this stuff, but it is also free and more functional.

  37. Just started using this app but so far I mostly love it. My only issue is that I can’t add more than one event to a day by selecting that day. After the first add on I have to go to another day with nothing scheduled and adjust the date to the day I need. While not a deal breaker an update would be appreciated. Update: Thank you for the info. I went back and looked and while my phone covers the function bar at the bottom of the screen my husband showed me on his phone.

  38. A busy family (large or small) with an active life needs this app. I find it excellent for tracking appointments, sharing ideas, and getting organized. We love the built-in messaging tool. Now there’s no more arguing over who told who about an event/appointment. Did you put it on the FamilyWall? Super easy user interface too. The developers thought of everything.

  39. Edward dice:

It’s bothersome that there are features that you can only do from the app and not the desktop. Circle management and upgrading to premium should be available on either. Deleting photos should be available in both. Functionality should be the same to make things easier. I’d like the ability to delete the shopping and to-do lists from each circle along with changing their background pictures please.

  40. So Far, so good. This has eliminated about 5 separate apps that I’ve used and makes it easier to organize life for a family of 6. Only complaints, I wish I could go into landscape view on my tablet, but it doesn’t and I wish there was a secure place to store personal info like passwords (my family is constantly asking for Passwords) etc. Also it would be absolutely awesome if there were more budgeting options, like if I could put in bill, creditor, life insurance info, car insurance info etc.
