HOW DOES SKEDDY WORK:
1. Skeddy discovers the rides scheduled by passengers in a 10-miles zone from the arbitrary location (Search Pin) defined by the Lyft driver. The driver can create and save search pins as favorites, and re-use them in the future for the next ridesharing trips.
2. Discovered rides are displayed on the map (day and night mode), as well as in a list with the corresponding time, length, and estimated earnings.
3. Skeddy automatically accepts the ride by using the timeframe and distance criteria previously entered by the Lyft driver.
4. The Lyft driver can either drop any previously accepted ride or manually accept the ride, which was filtered out by the filter criteria previously entered by the driver.

Really great app, it’s very beneficial to drivers that need longer travel than the constant shorter ones especially when it’s impossible to make a lot of money with stop and go and also it’s very helpful for this app to search for the drivers which frees up more time for us to focus on something else. Overall a great concept and a really good design. The ability to set your search parameters allows you to skip the shorter rides and take the more lucrative ones. Would be nice if you didn’t have to keep returning to your original search area for the next passenger. Just not enough time to get back if you want the next one. The rides that you skip are not supposed to affect your Lyft cancelation rate, but mine has dropped since using Skeddy. I seldom refuse a ride except for skips with this app.
Being a driver that would much prefer long rides rather than constant stop-and-go driving in the city, I love this app. Wish there’s a way to select the days of the week you want to search for rides on though, as a single mom not available all the time, and if I shut off the search I might miss being assigned a good ride, but if I don’t shut off search, I always end up getting a ride at like 3 a.m. when I’m sleeping on a day I can drive, which makes me lose a credit.
So i read the instructions and understand their system a bit better. It might be a good idea to force people to watch a youtube video with instructions first to avoid confusion. As users…we just do. Anyways i’m pleased with the product except for one exception. The app sometimes schedules pickups right behind each other which I can’t possibly do due to distance. That has resulted in me losing credits.
