It’s a classic, and it doesn’t disappoint…There are 2 things about this game that keep it from being a five star game: 1.) You guys need to calm down with the up charge on everything, after buying the game you get 1 board and 1 location…everything else is an upcharge it’s ridiculous. 2.) Dice aren’t as random as they should be, there are lots of repeat dice numbers from player to player and turn to turn.
I went spent $2.49 on a game i loved when i was young, after a whopping 8 hours playing this game i bought every map and every pin (sold in a bundle for 35 or with 50% off like 17.50) I gave it a 4/5 because you have to pay for the extra maps and pins and cant get a good look before buying and it confines you to the set rules or the set amount and types of custom rules which kinda sucks. But overall for $2.49 i hope you have some time on your hands because this is addictive! I love it!
This Monopoly game version is fun and simple (not confusing with its controls). The reason for three stars is that there is no way to police the game. I got put on multi-player games where there were at least two players collaborating to have one of them win. There needs to be a way to report cheating. Also, what is the point of playing if you are going to cheat unless you enjoy wasting other people’s time. I know there is some luck to playing, but there is zero skill in cheating.
Monopoly has always been a heart-racing game, and the mobile version is no exception. This app will make you either grunt in satisfaction or frustration depending on those dice. The gameplay is great. The season pass is a bit expensive and there are a little too many in-app purchases, but there aren’t any ads which makes sense for a paid game. Edit: Although both Google Play and the Monopoly app say I purchased the Explorer Pack, I can’t use it. Not a major issue for many but still a bug.
