Disappointed by the unintuitive playback setup. I want to like this app but it just won’t do what I want. Tried to start listening to a new series, first episode ends and it dumps me back out to the series overview with no option to play the next episode. I can’t even find a way to add a whole series to the queue, just episodes one by one. This is standard functionality on everything other app I’ve tried, will be moving on to a new app.
Generally a good podcast app after using it for just over a day. Many things done well, good aesthetics, many aspects can be customized. Unfortunately the app lacks one very important feature. Multiple playlists, or as termed in this app, queues. Devs are aware and have been for almost four years so it seems unlikely to ever be added, if it is even possible. Not sure I can continue to use this unfortunately.
All your podcasts in one place! This app is far superoir to relying on multiple players to harvest your data. One awesome feature is the autodownload exclusion and inclusion parameter. It allows you to filter out titles of casts that you dont want. (Ie one cast has a “best of” recast from the week while another condenses a 3hr show to a 1hr but posts both at the same time. By excluding or only including “best of” the player only downloads the ones i want.) Auto skip is neat as well.
Just too glitchy. Sometimes they download, sometimes they don’t. Works on other apps, so I have a different one when this one doesn’t work, but what’s the point… Shouldn’t be that tough for the app to work every day, and definitely shouldn’t get worse with an app update, or having to check MY settings when it worked fine before, or it’s a free app, blah blah blah. And no I’m not going to post in a forum, send screenshots to someone, try to fix something that y’all know is broken.
