For the most part I’ve been loving the service and the app. However, I have had some issues in recent months. If I absolutely don’t want something to potentially be substituted, I leave the box unchecked. However, some substitution options end up being good so I leave certain products checked so that, when the time comes, I will be provided with the option to accept or decline the possible substitution. That has always been an appreciated luxury. On my end, that option has ceased to exist for months. I can check minutes and immediately before the window will expire and see no indication of needing to make the choice yet AFTER the window expires, they appear…when it’s too late. I also haven’t been receiving notifications (email, text, or through the app) until 12 hours after I should.
On note 10+, since the last update: app will not allow me to “search” any items. It keeps going back to “your favorite departments” screen. I have tried several avenues in attempt to bypass, but to no avail. Instead, I have been forced to use the website, which defeats the whole purpose. Please fix this error in order to have a more enjoyable experience with Wal-Mart app. 🤞
The old version app worked fine. We ordered regularly from it with no problems. Now with the update, the app is hard to work with. When I try to reserve a time for grocery pick up there’s a new bug that won’t allow it.. We will be ordering else where, again. Also, if anyone out there is experiencing the same, Kroger has a great easy check out. Have a blessed day!!
This app used to be good. Now it’s terrible. It’s a nightmare to figure out what is in the store. Especially if there are multiple Walmart stores around you. The app makes it difficult to set the store and search only in store. Additionally, notifications on order pickups no longer work. I have tried uninstalling, clearing cache/data with no luck. Notifications used to work fine. Finally, there should be an option to only shop pickup or only shop shipping when you add an item to the cart.
