  1. Garbage company! I was charged $100 delivery fee for tickets to a football game. Delivery fee? It was transferred to my phone digitally. Lack of an itemized bill was frustrating. The original charge was $237 dollars, (3 tickets at $79). When I received an email with a so called reciept it had the original price, then a total of $342 with absolutely no explanation why. After calls to the help center I had realized I was flat out ripped off by a so called legitimate ticket outlet. NEVER USE THIS!

  2. This is a terrible app and company. First off, fees are crazy and are hidden at purchase. Then I purchased tickets to a show THREE years ago and the show has been rescheduled 3 times. They refuse to refund the tickets, since the show was not officially canceled and only rescheduled. For THREE years. Now I can’t even access the tickets! Have been in contact with support with still no solutions and still no refund. Do. Not. Use. This. App!!!! Complete rip off. The worst experience I have ever had.

  3. BUYER BEWARE, $70 fee per ticket added at last step. I thought I was paying around $320 for two tickets to Hamilton in Orlando, but the final payment was $460 for two tickets. Transaction cannot be refunded (and they will not refund or reduce the fees they add for the transaction). Yes, the final cost is shown on the final order page, but that was after I had to create an account and enter my credit card information. Very deceptive. Will not use again.

    I hate that it is so difficult look up event locations. I travel a lot and would like to look up a location to see what may be going on in that area. You can only look up major cities. I had this app in the past and it was much easier to find events! It only brings things I listed in favorites I don’t know my all my favorites, I like to explore!

  5. Tickets are now always available to events purchased through Vivis Seats. I was unable to see/retrieve tickets to a recent concert, spent two hours on the phone with customer service and still, unable to get into the venue. Still cannot get an answer as to a refund. I spend hundreds of dollars and lost an entire evening that was supposed to be fun and exciting, to be disappointed. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience. I will be using different method of purchasing moving forward.

  6. After being rescheduled due to covid for the second time, the same day as the show! It’s a good thing I tried to look at my tickets because there was no communication, notification in app, Nothing! To try and alert us of the rescheduling to take place the following month. In turn after the costs of fuel, hotel rooms, tickets, missed wages, time spent. We get to do it all over in a month. Thanks! But No Thanks! Would love to be reimbursed for something!

  7. Pros: App is easy to use, and you sometimes get discount offers. Con: does not disclose the existence of service fees (which are insanely high) until the very last step, when they appear to gouge the bejesus out of you. It’s borderline dishonest/deceptive. I recommend sticking with StubHub, where you can have it display prices with fees when you pick your tickets.

    Non-Existent Customer Service! I’ve been using Vivid for years, bought countless tickets, first time needing customer service & I can’t access it because it says my phone number doesn’t match any account, so it won’t even allow me to talk to anyone. I had to enter my phone number when I downloaded the app. Ridiculous. I had to email them and still haven’t heard back and because ticket transfers happen just a couple days before your event, my issue might not get resolved in time.

  9. I have had no issues for the past 3 years. Now all of a sudden I’m unable to purchase tickets through the app. Only on the computer and was unable to use my credit. Had a family member download the app they were able to log into my account and purchase tickets using my credit. My phone is less than 6 months old, but I’m guessing with updates something went wrong. Not happy but will be looking for another place to purchase tickets where I’m able to choose the actual seat and not just the row

  10. The price listed is not what I ended up paying. Plus it ended up being through another ticket website. So I had to download tbe other ticket agency No listings of fees or taxes. The bill only listed what I ordered and the total price. Final bill did nor match the ticket prices. You need to list the fees. Not coming back to this site. Plus you say you have a 4 1/2⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. That is a joke. If you look at all the reviews, most people gave you a 1 ⭐ Fake ratings.

  11. First and last purchase! Would give zero stars if I could! Nothing like paying $114 each for MLB ticket (first time ever ordering) then when tickets were transferred, I see the face value of $43 listed! Also, you can forget getting customer service of any kind to respond. I will be letting PayPal know about my experience and hopefully everyone else does to (I can’t be the only one). I understand making a profit, but that is ridiculous! I learned my lesson and will order from MLB next time.

  12. No where during the check out process did the App breakout the fees and service charges. The only information offered was ticket price and then total. While of course I can do the math but I would have liked to see that information before hitting the Place Order button. I called customer service and explained that to them and I was basically told that I must have missed it. I assure you I did not, I even tried to place another order and once again no ability to have a full breakdown of cost.

Absolutely the worst ticket buying experience I’ve ever had, bought concert tickets, and have had an Absolutely terrible time trying to get them, spent 45 minutes of my evening the night before my concert just trying to verify my email so I could download my ticket, still haven’t been able to do so and the customer support person I was chatting with was oblivious to my issues. They weren’t able to be delivered until the night before. So now I am stuck trying to figure the problem out on my own.

  14. The App itself is fine but it is very misleading. Most show you a total with fees but they show you a total without fees and then after you put your credit card info in for the order surprise your price increases by 9 bucks a ticket. Don’t mind having fees but at least let people know they are there so they can decide if your app is really the best or cheapest for what you are looking for! This app will be deleted tomorrow after the game!

    Horrible experience. Purchased a $90 parking ticket for a NFL game. Had to download the app to view the ticket. Download was easy but when attempting to view the ticket, impossible. Every attempt was a verification email to confirm it was me trying to view. When you click confirm on the verification email it cycles back to the app and says “Fail”…every time! Made numerous attempts to no avail. No customer service. Awful.

    Purchasing a ticket is very easy, but I got an error message when trying to view them. It asks to verify your email and returns with an error message after you follow the steps. Luckily, you can access your tickets by downloading them as a pdf on a computer and then forwarding it to your phone using something like Google drive. This needs to be fixed. If you are using this app, make sure to check that you can access the tickets ahead of time because I heard their customer service isn’t good.

  17. This company has THE WORST customer service EVER! Not only did it take 9 months for them to decide that the event I was supposed to attend was canceled they took it upon themselves to NOT give me my money back as a refund, but instead put it as credits toward any future purchases made with them. I will NEVER purchase anything else through VS again! And when you try to dispute this and attempt to get your money back they send you on a wild goose chase via contact methods!

  18. Two issues with this app: 1) sends out a crazy amount of notifications with no way to disable them 2) it only lets you select certain cities to search. When selecting Use My Location, it will connect you to the closest ‘big city’ on their list even though it isn’t where you need to search.

  19. Paid an already absorbent price for concert tickets for a particular section. Come to find out that that seat wasn’t going to be available. The agent who was helping me offered me an “upgrade” at no additional cost. He gave me the section and a row closer to the stage and said it wasn’t a side view. Later I looked at the seat map for that venue. IT WAS A SIDE VIEW!!!! I’d rather sit a few rows back with a non side view! I was stuck!

  20. Purchased tickets for a really good price, they even gave me a 10 percent discount. Too good to be true. Not able to be scanned at the gate. Ticket window said they were trying to bypass an app needed at the stadium to get the proper tickets. Had to purchase at event. $200 gone. Customer service chat has been less than helpful. I hope to update this with a better result but not counting on it.

  21. This isn’t a bad app when it comes to finding your wanted tickets! It’s pretty easy to navigate, but a little confusing when it comes to trying to get your tickets printed. But once they’re printed, they’re printed. Expect to spend about 50$ in fees for at least 2 tickets, this isn’t horrible but seems kinda steep to me.

    I was a long time user, recently an event was listed incorrectly. The show wasn’t postponed, the listing was just wrong. I work overseas and wanted to catch a show before leaving. I tried to get a refund since the actual date of the show was after I would of already been gone. Vivid seats said even though their listing was wrong, it was not their problem. I’m canceling my account and deleting the app.

    Terrible. False Guarantee. They say they have one where if your tickets get canceled they will refund you. They give you credit instead. And you can’t resolve your issues quickly because everything refers you back to emailing them instead of an online chat or a phone call. Unhappy with the service and now have to deal with them until I use up my “refund” credits on my account. Would never suggest anyone deal with this company.

  24. Bought many tickets throughout the years but this last purchase was a horrible experience. Could not open tickets on night of my event. Site kept saying Oops. Then said tickets had been claimed by another email. Awful customer service. The lady I spoke with was very rude and condescending. Lost $360 and was told a refund would not be issued. I have bought enough tickets to be in their Icon status. Won’t buy anymore from here.

  25. We bought tickets from this website and ended up not being able to get inside the show. When we scanned our tickets at the door they said they were invalid. All our friends went inside and had a great time while we were stuck outside in the cold trying to get the box office to help us based on our confirmation #. The box office couldn’t help either and told us to contact vivid seats which was closed at the time. Will not be purchasing any more tickets with this company ever again!

  26. I have bought all my tickets through the 2022 season through vivid seats and every time it’s “congratulations on your first stamp!”. The whole incentive is to earn that free ticket after 10 stamps but they never have given me more than 1 stamp. I’ve called customer service about this and even after confirming multiple purchases through the app I only get credit for one. It’s a waste of time. Go through AXS because that’s where your tickets will get transferred through anyways.

    Random charges from VS on my credit card. I gave them the statements they needed to find the charge but I keep getting the same copy and paste response. Customer service is helpful at times. I won’t be using them anymore. Also I bought tickets for $350 and the final total ended being $380+. They need to stop hiding fees.

    The seller didn’t transfer my tickets. I was give bad seats as a replacement. I couldn’t go because the seats were on a much higher row and in the middle. No one tried to help with this issue. Just a bad site. I losses money on this. So only a half star is what I would rate you.

  29. Extremely user friendly app, ticket prices comparable or cheaper than other sites; including from primary ticket outlets like ticketmaster often.. Not to mention they give you a great perk where after you buy 10 tickets, they give you the average cost of all 10 tickets to use on there site! Great to see them reward loyal customers, when you don’t see that often in this business. Highly recommend!

  30. Worst experience ever! The concert was canceled due to the pandemic and they refused to refund my money for the tickets. Fast forward 2 years later, the concert is on but they give me the concert in LA, California, and not Austin, Texas. Customer support is clueless, so they just tell me the tickets are for the Texas show just to shut me up, he didn’t even know the the date or city of the Texas show, I knew he was lying. There is much more but vivid gets their tickets from ticketmaster.

  31. Unable to see fees until the very end of a transaction. Most other platforms have an option to view prices with fees. With Vivid Seats you have to go through checkout and enter your payment info before they show you. Deceptive practice, I won’t buy from them. Hope they lose the lawsuit they’re facing in CA over it.

  32. DO NOT BUY FROM VIVID SEATS! I “bought RHCP tix from them in July for a September show. Week of the show I did not have the tickets. Reached out multiple time and was told to wait. Fast forward to 3 hour before the show, still no seats. They told me to wait another hour to se if they could get in touch with the seller. They couldn’t so they issued me “replacements” which I was unable to access. Their customer service hung up on me and never received the tix. I’m disputing the charge with my CC.

  33. This is a hit or miss ticket app. I purchased tickets and was charged and got email confirmation. I was unable to access the tickets once on site causing all kinds of problems. My tickets were also sold to another party and I was out the parking I paid for and never was able to attend the event. Waste of time gas and money.

  34. Do not use this app. I bought tickets through them the tickets were sent to my Ticketmaster account. When I went to my event my tickets were invalid when they tried to scan them. I called vivid seats and they told me to call Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster said it was a barcode reissue issue AKA the tickets were resold on multiple third party distributors. After knowing all this they still would not refund my money because they are not “affiliated” with Ticketmaster. What a complete joke

  35. I spent extra money to get front row seats and then the “seller” couldn’t provide them. So they moved me to the nosebleeds for a concert that I had paid for MONTHS in advance. It’s absolutely absurd that this would ever happen. I will never be buying tickets through VividSeats again.

  36. Overall good for getting tickets. Rating is for user ease of searching upcoming events in your area. I wanna see what’s coming this weekend and if you don’t know who’s coming to town good luck finding out about it through the app. Unless you search for an artist they won’t show up. While in Vegas the app was useless to see what was happening near us. Set up a date filter that includes filters for all your categories. It’s not rocket science.

  37. Had an issue with my tickets and agents proceeded to have the mishap pinned on me to prevent giving me a refund. EDIT: I was actually able to get a refund, that’s such a relief.

  38. this is the worst app ever they steal ur money and u dont get a refund rather u make it in the concert or not we couldn’t get my ticket download and I was even the on the phone with their customer service and still couldn’t troubleshoot it and nothing worked so I never got my ticket and they refused to let me into the concert and they refuse to give me a refund because I did not make it into the concert because we could not download my ticket so this is the worst app in the world I will never

  39. Its an ok app not really different from any other seat app but this one never gives you the total bill due when you try to buy multiple seats. It only lets you know the price per seat. Hopefully they fix this. 7/20/22 still haven’t fixed this issue. I can send you a screen shot if you want me to. It never shows a total amount due before I press the place order button on the app.

  40. Vivid (& Seller) did not explain that you ALSO have to sign up with ticketmaster to retrieve your tickets! For a first time member, my next thing to ?? why would I need VIVID? SO I NVR got to see the MAXWELL concert that was a bithday gift & they trusted the seller(they gave me the tkts by email) which anyone can say. This was a HORRIBLE experience! Also, instead of Cust. Ser. trying to remedy the situation with a new cust. they started sending me messages of getting tkts to other venues,REALLY!

  41. I would give them minus 5 stars if it was possible. I bought tickets to Greta Van fleet concert which I had been looking forward to for a long time The weekend before the concert I got urgent emails which took up a lot of my time and eventually I got through to someone who simply told me that my tickets would be at the Will call window. Eventually. I ended up there on the night of the conc to be told I had been scalped, and the tickets were not there. Telephone service was completely unhelpful

  42. Buy direct. They offer no customer service and only offer resale tickets at high markups. They associate with AXS but don’t list AXS direct prices.. you can pay twice as much for a ticket available direct from suppliers. This kind of service/business shouldn’t even exist. Customer support somewhere far away

  43. Horrible. They don’t tell you that they contract with ticketmaster, and I’ve always had issues with ticketmaster. So I called vivid seats for help and they basically said TOO BAD. and their 100% money back guarantee is worthless. 🤬

  44. Worst company ever! Complete scam! I purchased tickets to a hockey game. I never got an email to accept tickets. Tried connecting with the company to send the email to accept. They were unable to send. I asked for a refund, they said that was not an option. I ended buying an additional set of tickets (from the arena directly) to see the game.

  45. I bought tickets 10 days ago and still have not received them. I tried the live chat and could only speak to the virtual assistant. The chat box is annoying and not user friendly as you have to x out of the keyboard to read the latest messages and the virtual assistant gave hardly any time for me to respond before saying that I was idle and it hadn’t even been a minute. Given the reviews, I am extremely nervous that I will not receive my tickets and the lack of getting feedback does not help.

  46. This app was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced purchasing on one. The instructions on how to receive your tickets or access them is horrible. I was unable to access my ticket. Had to pay for the parking when I got there through a different app and now I’m out of the money paying for this ticket through vivid horrible experience. Never again. Will I order through this app? I suggest to find a different app to buy from

  47. This entire company is a scam. Bought 2 greenbay packers parking tickets for a total of $273. Only to find when we got there that parking was only $20 all around the stadium. There was no information about what the tickets actually cost compared to actual parking price. I paid $273 for (2) $20 parking spots. Live and learn I guess since this customer service wanted no part in helping.

    Worst, confusing, convoluted, needless runaround I have ever experienced. Bought 2 parking spots. After 12 e-mails. 3 different downloads to my phone and 45 minutes time I managed to print the info for 1 of the 2 spots. Had to give up and try again the next day. Will NEVER use this app again

  49. I bought tickets for the Michigan Wolverine Football game 10/29. Tickets were purchased back in April. The ticket “transfer” never happened. I spoke with customer support explaining my worry about not having the tickets. The rep.. had me login into AXS app and ASSURED me my tickets were in the QR code. We drove 11, yes 11 hours for this game. Low and behold … time to get in. Tickets don’t work. We missed 2 quarters of this game. The seller never sent tickets. What a nightmare..never again.

  50. The app worked ok. The transfer of thr ticket I purchased never happened. I was informed it was being transferred from a third party site. The 3rd party site never sent my ticket ane vivid seats refused to provide a refund. They went off the seller saying they delivered the ticket that never came and did not work to get my ticket. They provided no proof from the seller that the ticket was ever sent nor did anything to obtain the ticket before the event I was to attend.

    Do not! DO NOT! buy tickets from them.. I purchased tickets, was unable to accept the tickets for transfer. Used the chat 2xs and called and they still did not have a working link. They say I can’t be refunded because the tickets were sent but if the tickets were not accessible to the buyer then it’s not FAIR! POOREST SERVICE EVER!

Horrible customer service, concert was cut short but since tickets were bought from 3rd party (vivid) I wasn’t able to get my full refund eventhough the Venue was refunding tickets bought from there. I recommend purchasing tickets from the venue or from somewhere else because you never know if the event cuts short how it did for us last week with a power outage
