    Does it work? Sure, it “works”. But man, this has to be one of the most poorly optimized apps I’ve ever used. It devours my battery unlike anything else, sometimes I can’t even charge my phone while I’m watching. It just keeps me at whatever battery level I started with, and my phone often overheats. And after 10-15min of watching, the stream starts stuttering. I have to force close and reopen the app to get it to stop. Every. Single. Time. Shame it’s the only way to watch most EPL games.

  2. AMA Supercross was live on USA. I downloaded the app, signed in with my cable provider and clicked on the “Live” tab. Three dots (the loading screen) appeared and stayed there… for over 12 minutes. Never did load ANYTHING except those dots. I will be uninstalling this App and won’t reload it. Don’t waste your time, like almost every other review listed on this, let me say it again…IT. DOES. NOT. WORK.

    Would love to give this zero stars, downloaded it for my grandfather to watch Wrestling and this app is the epitome of frustration. No matter what device it’s on, it doesn’t work, constantly crashes and resets, wastes credits and doesn’t load content. I wish somehow they could fix this, bit it’s just too much.

  4. I have this app on my phone, tablet and firetv. It is absolutely horrible! It constantly freezes, resets and buffers forever. Lord forbid I pause a show to go to the bathroom because, it will never play again. Yes, I have cleared the data, cache and uninstalled it repeatedly to no avail.

  5. I like the selection of shows on the USA app. It seems to play for me just fine. However, the number of ads that are shown during one 30 min program are ridiculous. The majority of the shows are locked & can only be unlocked by syncing your cable service provider account. Many people don’t have a service provider to sync with & are just out of luck. If the number of ads were reduced & you could just download the app & watch the shows, I’d gladly give this app 5 stars.

  6. When its’s working it’s good. However, it rarely works. This app is problematic on more than 1 device. I just wanted to watch my shows. I thought the new update would fix the bugs, unfortunately not. Deleting after numerous attempts to fix. That includes restarting my devices, clearing cache & cookies, uninstalling and reinstalling. I gave it enough.

  7. The app is extremely slow no matter what my network strength is. When you click on the show you want to watch it takes ages for the episodes to come up. It was so bad I thought I was crazy and doing subverting wrong until I realized it’s just working at a snails pace. Constantly buffers and it always freezes on the commercials and then I have to re-start it all over again from the beginning of the commercial run which are like in a row. Also there is no previous seasons to catch up on only current. I’ll get my shows elsewhere this app is so poorly done for a big network its sad.

  8. Nice interface, slick design. Good content, good variety. There is just one problem though… IT DOESN’T WORK! No videos load at all. Just the spinning loading wheel. The worst is for live sports – Premier League games simply do not load. Really disappointed with this, especially considering that the Premier League is the only reason I got the app. 👎

  9. This app is total junk! It is incredibly unstable – it crashes all the time. Sometimes there is no sound, and sometimes it just dies while we are in the middle of a show. It is not my phone or internet provider either. I have several Chromecast devices and I run Google TV on my main TV. I do not have issues like this with any of the other apps I am running. Beyond frustrating!

  10. This has to be the worst network app. it makes me sign in to my cable account everytime i use it. It takes forever to launch. Seems to use alot of resources to run. When i do get it to work, it stops streaming randomly especially with live streaming. I can never watch content without having to restart the streams at some point. i can watch other apps for hours no issues. This app is just filled with interuptions.

  11. trying to watch live TV and it keeps looping to the same 5 or 10 seconds previously. closed app and opened back up again to no avail. uninstalled and reinstalled with hopes it’ll work properly. with the latest update (may 15, 2019), it says bug fixes. what kind of ‘fixes’ were performed?! it’s worse now than it was before! if there was an option of less than 1 star, that would be more accurate.

  12. Can’t give less than 1 star otherwise I would. I have yet been able to watch anything in its entirety. Connectivity problems are constant issue. I don’t have any connectivity issues with any other streaming service, just this one. I’ve tried numerous times to watch different shows & movies over a period of months & it’s always the same thing…either I can’t connect or I lose connection partially through. This is the worse streaming service I’ve come across.

  13. Well, that was a waste of time… could not watch The Purge past episode 3 online, so tried the app. Could not sign on. Kept getting the screen asking to store my info to save time and nothing else no matter how many times I opened/closed the app. Tried a different show and either got the same, got nothing, or the app crashed. Could not sign on through the menu option. Could not find a way to enter my service provider. Guess USA doesn’t want to fix problems, considering the how many bad reviews are here for mostly the same things. If they don’t want our business and ratings, too bad for them.

  14. This is the worst streaming app I’ve ever used. It crashes more than half the time and when it does work it constantly bugs out and closes the player. This wouldn’t be an issue but every time I click on a show to reopen the player and continue watching it forces me to go through ads. This has happened to me up to 6 consecutive times, each time I had to bare with 5 ads just to get to the show I was watching. If you have ANY other way to watch the show you like, DO NOT download this app.

  15. non functional. clicking around results in nothing working. finally after a lot of workarounds i got it to prompt me with a sign-in to provider. You used to just be able to watch some older shows and such on their website but this app doesn’t allow much of anything. don’t bother with this thing. they should have put that front and center that it’s a paid-only app

  16. Worst streaming app for any network. You’re better off waiting for Prime Video to get the show and just watch it from there. App takes forever to start, then when it actually plays the show it just crashes. and the worst part, when it reloads from the crash they force you to watch the commercials agains. I’m convinced they actually put this big in on purpose so that they can make more money from ads.

  17. This app is terrible. Takes FOREVER to load up, then to find a show through all of the app laggy-ness (it’s not my home WiFi) just to be disappointed. When you do manage to get a show playing….. It freezes. Or the audio isn’t synced with the video. Wayyyyy to many ads. With all of the add revenue generated by the app you would think they could pay someone to fix the problems.

  18. Fire stick app is an absolute joke. Crashes more than it works. Good luck loading a show after ff or rew functions. I tried to finish a show i had seen the first 30 mins of. I probably could have watched it from the beginning faster than it took to load it from the right spot where i left off. Every time an ad loads it started back at the beginning. Every time i ff or rew i have to exit and reload for it to start again. I would give this 0 stars if i could. It has frozen at least 3Xs in 24hrs

  19. The picture quality is nice, audio on the other hand comes off as distorted at times. I find this rather odd considering the other streaming apps can’t relate to these issues. The worst issue however is associated with casting, it tends to buffer/freeze at times. Now when you attempt to resolve the issue by stopping the cast, it only regresses from there. It ultimately just stops working(audio no video/neither exc.).

  20. I have used the app for a few days now. The 1st day I had no issues. The 2nd day it was continuously buffering during the ads. That became annoying because it made ad time last longer. Today it started to continuously buffer during ads & programming. All of the other streaming services I use are not having an issue. Nor am I experiencing any difficulty with any other online app or service. This app also lacks several features that I enjoy on other streaming apps. I would not recommend download

  21. NBC Apps are the worse! Using a Note 9 and S9, same problems on both phones. You think the developers would compare their apps to Fox, AMC, The CW, ABC, Discovery, and see why competitors apps are way better. Casting is basically useless. I’m constantly having to clear cache/data and reset apps to cast. And if you don’t remember where you left off, every time you search for your spot, be prepared to watch 3 minutes of ads. Sometimes it takes 20 min of ads to find my last place.

  22. Movies and my favorite shows with seemingly instant load times, and a few 30 second ads spread few and far-between puts this network app well above most other apps in the same genre. The effortless way to connect through your provider automatically and without the hassel of creating and maintaining a username and password has been the deciding factor for me personally. This app will live long and prosper. Well done! Whoever thought of that should have keys to the building! Lol

  23. The ability to cast is appreciated, but it is an inconsistent experience. The audio often doesn’t match up with what it showing on the screen, typically during ads. Sometimes the audio for ads plays over the show I’m watching before the ads even start. Shocked that TV networks still cannot get this right. Disappointed.

  24. After the recent update I am unable to link my TV provider! Sigh!!! — Casting on Chromecast is close to a nightmare. Clearing cache/storage and sign in again and it might work. Closed captioning doesn’t work as well (you see the subtitles show long before the dialogue is actually spoken). I wonder if this app went through a basic QA process. Really good shows but a horrible app to host them 😪

    Like other have mentioned this app is riddled with issues. Any device you install it on it will constantly buffers or gives errors. I’ve tried it on Firestick, Chromecast with Google TV, casting to a Chromecast using my android phone. Doesn’t matter. All devices have issues. By the way. I have a bunch of other live TV apps and this is the only app that is unwatchable.

  26. This app has way too many commercials. Video Constantly freezes while audio plays in the back ground. Have to close app and re-open only find even more commercials you have to watch just to get back where you were before it froze. Constantly have to log out of app and back into it because “sorry looks like this channel isnt available”.

    It doesn’t play live tv shows. I link the tv provider account and hit the LIVE option, then it shows me what it is supposedly going to play, then it buffers and shows endless commercials, and then it doesn’t go to my show. It’s literally only ever showed me 1 tv show on the LIVE option. Some cop show. I have to wait 2 days before the show I’m trying to watch is available. Deleting the app once again because it’s absolute garbage.

Terrible app. Only way to watch an episode on my phone yet the app doesn’t ever let you watch an episode all the way through, constantly buffering and loading and then after it does all of that it says episode currently unavailable, that is the only thing that is consistent, which is the fact that it won’t work. App is a joke!

  29. App works fine when playing video on my phone. When I try to cast I only get sound, no picture. I tried deleting the cache, signing out and signing back in, reinstalling the app and nothing works. It’s fine that I can play video on my phone, I would prefer to watch on my TV though.

    Terrible…just terrible especially for a multibillion dollar company like NBC. While using Chromecast the show plays fine but all the while a huge bar at the bottom covers the screen saying “Ready to Cast” with the huge Peakcock logo. Left and came back later, pressed “continue watching” on my show and it started at the beginning then of course I had to watch the ads the skip forward to where I left off and it doesn’t show you where you’re skipping to with a little preview screen like Netflix

  31. This app is terrible. It often can’t load a show, stutters during playback, or the sound stops syncing with the vid at some point during the show. And to top it off, it doesn’t allow casting. The firestick version is even worse. USA programs I enjoy unfortunately can’t be enjoyed via this app. (FYI: Samsung Galaxy s9 user)

  32. This app is awful. 99% of the time, I get Access Enable Error, Null, or some other BS problem. It easily loads the main screen, but other than that, it tells me I’m disconnected I have full Wi-Fi signal on my tablet, my phone, and my Fire Stick, but it doesn’t load on ANYTHING. It’s garbage, and the app is useless.

Absolutely miserable app. Half the time I use it, the app freezes and crashes before I even have a chance to see if an episode will play (or if I will watch the buffering screen for an indeterminate amount of time). I access content through a cable provider so the use of this app is free. At zero dollars, this app is still offensively over priced.

  34. So dissappointed in this app. Live streaming is impossible. My fav show is Chrisley knows best. But unfortunatly the quality is horrible. The commercials/ads ran perfectly. That makes no sense! I have to watch them on E! for reruns of the week before. Peacock has all the last 8 seasons. I wanted to continue watching my show while traveling or at lunchtime at work. No go. I unsubscribed and deleted the app.

  35. This app was not very good to begin with. Now that it has combined all other NBC Universal channels, the quality is even worse. I mainly use it to cast to my TV. When I could shut the screen off before, I can’t now. If I need to do anything on my phone, I can’t without the app shutting down. Other apps like this one have no problem doing that. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

  36. App constantly disconnects, freezes and otherwise drops feed. Can’t seem to go more than ten minutes without malfunctioning, making enjoying a full prgram impossible – especially when casting the Chromecast. All of these network apps seem to be using the same format and system, so why is USA the worst? ABC, TNT, and FOX NOW manage a more stable connection, USA is unusable. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

  37. Probably the worst streaming app I’ve ever used, this is absolutely ridiculous. I have a full Wi-Fi connection and it still buffers while I’m streaming it. It also exits out in the middle of streaming the app and you have to start over from the beginning.

  38. I downloaded this app 2 days ago (6/19) and it still does not work for some reason. Restarted my phone to see if it works, deleted the app and re-downloaded it and nothing. Its sad i really wanted to use this app. (6/24) I downloaded the app on my wife’s iphone and it works perfectly. Fix this app for android users please.

  39. I have never been able to actually watch anything on this app, most definitely have not been able to cast anything. Whoever is in charge of the app needs to be fired and you need to hire someone who programs netflix or somewhere you can actually connect and cast. I cast plenty of other apps, just because I would prefer it so I can control everything from my phone. This app doesn’t even deserve a star.

  40. Really badly coded. Constantly have to re-log in with my TV provider to watch TV shows. Watching shows will glitch up and even trying to fast forward or rewind 10 seconds cause it’s freeze and load and take forever. Will update my review if these issues are ever fixed
