  1. With Metro by T-Mobile this app works well. Since I switched to T-Mobile itself, the apps doesn’t block any phone calls, only blocks text messages. I have to pay for a premium service for this app to work the way it did on Metro. That isn’t right. After a few months of using this app now and having T-Mobile reach out. It still is the same thing, verified numbers that are actually spam calls. This sucks that I have block/report them every time. I suggest looking into a better app, not this one.

  2. This blocks roughly half of spam calls, which is a lot better than nothing, but leaves a bit to be desired. Most of the ones it lets through appear related to a bug. A call will be listed twice, with the exact same call time. One will be marked spam and the other will go through to ring the phone. I see no way in the app or elsewhere to report bugs, which is an issue in itself. It’s also takes a long time to display the last call so that you can report it.

  3. Been working great. Hardly get spam now or unsolicited calls. Update: Barely two scam calls a week now. A problem though now. I have a contact that I set to go to voicemail. I want to allow his calls. When clicking ‘allow’ nothing happens. Click send to vm hoping to undo the setting and I get ‘Looks like we are having trouble connecting. Please try again’. Am currently talking to a rep hoping for a fix. Update: App freezes after reporting no. and going back to main screen. Needs fix.

  4. The intent of this app is to protect you from scammers, and it does a decent job, but it’s also blocking important calls, and that has caused some problems for me. So much so that I will absolutely be uninstalling because it’s already cost me important access to healthcare, jobs and even friends getting new numbers (that are owned and used by the same mobile network!).

  5. Excellent for eliminating spam calls during Medicare open enrollment. These spam calls go directly to this app & skip incoming calls 100%. I’m just learning how to use these app features, that’s why 4/5 rating. 2024. Continues to screen calls well. Don’t forget to update recent calls for unwanted & categorize for the app to continue to screen calls. Particularly important during this election period.

  6. Everything “works”, but the reverse number lookup often doesn’t produce a name associated with numbers from other carriers, and T-Mobile #’s also often don’t return a name although T-Mobile knows who the account holder is but won’t provide the name due to various reasons like FCC regulations, privacy settings, caller ID settings, incomplete account settings, etc. so the reverse number lookup leaves something to be desired but the spam/scam block works as good or better than most.

  7. Frenchy dice:

I can’t use this app! It ask me to close too many other important features that are necessary for my phone to function properly! If you can’t run with those features active? Then you are not to run on my phone. All these apps who ask to control my phone, and be allowed to access my phone contacts, delete, take control of my camera and microphone are way over their heads!

  8. Mediocre. It blocks some spam calls, but not others. I get calls that t-mobile says are verified callers, but are just spammer and hangup calls. Also, it doesn’t allow for an easy option to report new spam numbers. Finally, if you want the software to work to it’s full ability you have to pay a monthly fee on top of what you’re already paying them for your phone and data service. I wish the FCC would hold their feet to the fire and make them block this stuff like they should.

  9. I think this would be a great app for actual spam calls we receive, it’s the fact I never have turned it on and it has blocked calls I need to come through. Then again just recently it has been blocking calls on the allowed list, with no explanation. The numbers are programmed in my phone, as well as on an allowed list. I have no clue what’s going on and so I turned it off completely. Maybe going to uninstall or disable because this is ridiculous.

  10. Unfortunately, I am paying for a service call that does not stop calls from getting through that are not on my contact list. This is the only thing I truly miss about AT&T. Active Armor was great at blocking all unwanted calls. With Active Armor, if you were not in your contacts list, then the call would not get through at all. It would automatically go on the blocked list. Maybe T-Mobile needs to take a lesson from AT&T on this part of their service.

  11. Just like everything else T-Mobile does, this app doesn’t work properly. I am constantly barraged by spam calls and so I tried using this app. Calls still got through. Over 10 a day. Upgraded to Premium thinking that would help. It did absolutely nothing. It’s more useless than their cell service or their customer service. App doesn’t even flag a single call as spam.

  12. Yesterday, I got 14 “Scam Likely” calls throughout the day. I’ve been wanting something that would keep these calls from ringing my phone because, even though I never answer them, they still interfere with my business. Plus, they’re just irritating. Got the app this morning and, since then, not one “Scam Likely” call has rung my phone. I checked the notifications and it’s already blocked 11 “Scam” calls. Works as advertised… 5 Stars!

  13. A V dice:

Caller ID and block by number are already included without the need to pay for “premium”. The premium services would be their “Reverse Lookup” and “Send to Voice Mail”- if they worked. I pay for premium and was never able to identify a number using this App. When it works, the ID shows “A2P” : same ID for unwanted Ads or collections and (wanted) calls from Alexa to find my phone. It never sent anyone straight to voice mail. Calls from numbers showing as blocked in the App still get through.

  14. Adam Rusk dice:

Would give it 5 stars but it is unable to get the complete caller information on the caller name and the business information of a legitimate and reputable company. But I’m not going to make a huge deal over that. Because I don’t know the number I will usually not answer. The voicemail option takes care of the problem and the phone doesn’t ring it just goes to voicemail. So I can confidently give it a 4.2/4.5 stars

  15. C Law dice:

Does not show info of any number unless in ur contact. Does not even show number of who’s calling only contact name, if in your in contacts if not just says wireless caller or city, state. Reverse number lookup is a joke only shows you the network of the number and state(which I can figure out on my own by the area code). Will give till end of this month and cancel if it’s not fixed.

  16. my2centz dice:

I get dozens of scam calls from spoofed number yet I pay a monthly subscription to this app. I’m going to try something else because this isn’t working. I should not have to add every number manually because they’ll just use a different number. This app only blocks about 50% of the calls which makes it useless. I don’t need text to voicemail because nobody leaves voicemail anymore. If you don’t answer contacts will just text you over leaving a message.

  17. never did work correctly (S-22 ultra)! one other thing the dock mode feature will not work on T-Mobile apps which is extremely frustrating! I guess T-Mobile wants you to drain your battery this way you won’t use as much data, also much easier to read in dark mode! T-Mobile ended up being a big let down, not half as good as SPRINT!!!

  18. Need a way to block category text messages. For instance, I’m constantly getting text messages from politicians wanting money . Don’t won’t to send anything to voicemail… We want to block the calls from coming in altogether. Reverse number lookup doesn’t give you any useful information. Lastly, there is a way to fix this kind of problem. build into the T-Mobile app to scan are contacts, upload them to your server and anybody who’s not in our contacts is blocked. I call it a white filter.

  19. Update 4/27/24- 3rd review. I get so many scam calls that I can’t even answer my phone anymore unless I know the number. Nothing is being blocked. Caller ID never shows a name, and nothing goes to voicemail. I never had this problem until t-mobile. I give up. Time to change. This is my 2nd review, and I am hoping for answers. I have the premium scam shield, and nothing is premium. Calls are still not updating days later, calls are not getting blocked, and caller ID on but doesn’t work at all.

  20. Worked very well for awhile. Now I am getting spam calls that it is marking as spam in the app but letting them ring through like a normal call. It’s very frustrating. Looking at the call log in the app it shows 2 calls from the same number at the same time, one showing pink and spam and the other showing the number as a “normal” call.
