  1. A great rhythm game that, thanks to it’s simplicity, can become a very fun game to play, granted you have the money for season passes and events. Game play is solid, if laggy and that very well could be a problem on my end. The hours it takes to crack cases so you can start playing more songs can be irritating, but I have found it manageable to do other things in wait. Really wish they kept/would bring back the ability to like songs, namely ones you already own. No excuse for getting rid of it.

  2. Mark Frost dice:

The only reason it has 3 stars instead of 5, is because at first it was great, there’s a great variety of songs to unlock and play. Then most recently, it just felt like I’m watching more ads than playing the game. After I play a song, there are these excruciatingly long ads that ruin the momentum, which never used to happen, of course you’d have to watch an ad to pick cards that unlock variety of different crate, now It’s basically 80% ads and the last 20% is gameplay.

I really love this game and have a lot of fun playing it. The design is great, as are the song choices. However, since the last update I’ve had a lot of lag in my games–tiles jumping forward, not registering being tapped, songs breaking up. I didn’t have this problem before the update and it makes the game incredibly frustrating to play, especially since one missed tile means a game over. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

  4. Really enjoy the game play. Wish there was a slower practice mode of sorts. And also Kind of wish there was a better calibration tool. Maybe there could be a shorter heat and ask the user to tap when they hear the beat, then do all the calibration calculation on the back end. It is rather difficult to get it just right with Bluetooth headphones, but letting it find what my offset is would be much easier and hopefully more reliably.

  5. Overall really good game! The songs have a good variety, there’s fun events, and the game is entertaining. My only issue is the ‘what to do while waiting for boxes’ part of the game. I think something like a practice mode could be added so you can still play the game even while waiting to be able to generate rewards. Otherwise food game, no complaints. I love the clean design of the app, and the game play is great!

There must be something wrong with this game. Now don’t get me wrong it’s still absolutely a fun game! And some people need to understand it’s optional to watch the ads! But when the game either doesn’t register my tapping, (or registers me NOT tapping.) Then there has to be something wrong. This started as an every once in a while thing, and now it’s happening EVERY single time I play a song. Clearly there’s a bug in the game.

  7. I have been playing this quite a bit and would give a much better score if it were not for a few things. I started this game before and then when I got it again I got different songs and scores the second time but when I added my ID the new stuff was just gone. Then I started experiencing a very frustrating thing. Songs just stay frozen in the loading screen. This really is a great disappointment. It is almost to the point that I am going to delete and quit playing altogether.

  8. This is literally the only game that has kept me consistently picking it back up. Ads are (mostly) avoidable & short when they show up. I also quite enjoy the monthly event rather than a recurring subscription- it gives me the option to spend money instead of predatory autocharging me like a lot of apps do. Honestly my only “complaint” is that I wish you could pick what difficulty you played each song at, but I understand that would be tough to code, & I can do most Extreme songs now anyway.

Pretty fun but there are way too many ads. If you don’t have premium it’s so annoying to have to watch ads to collect your rewards, and after a certain amount of plays per day you have to watch an ad or pay diamonds (before every song) to even play the game. Why make it difficult and annoying to even use the basic features of the game? You can’t really participate in events, and the ones you can have really minimal/lame prizes, and only half as often as on premium. Ok but not really worth it.

  10. Jago dice:

One of the best mobile rhythm games I’ve played. Missing a couple core features, like the ability to favorite songs and the song sorting overall, as well as not being able to 5 star a song with too few notes even witha full combo. Love the rewind after a pause, and the mapping of the songs I’ve played is pretty good. All of it is ruined by skeezy monetization. I’d rather spend $50 on Muse Dash DLC than $1.50 on premium currency just to be allowed a few plays of songs I’ve already unlocked.

  11. It’s a good game but the way they set it up just kills the fun. Why even bother with a star system if you get kicked out of the song for random mistakes. It’s not even just you miss a certain amount. Some are okay to miss others it forces you to give diamonds or stop the song. It’s very random. If they had it so it was either completed or not, Cool, but a star system implies you can be bad or good. Who can afford to pay for the amount of diamonds needed to improve.

  12. I love the massive selection of songs to choose from, however there are a couple issues here, the rate of collecting gems is very low and it’s very hard to get them without waiting like a day to watch an ad for a few of them, I also dislike the way you only get certain songs if you pay money, playing every song is very fun and overall I enjoy playing very much. One feature that annoys me though is the fact that after playing for a while you can’t play and there’s no energy meter, fix this please

  13. I previously gave the game a fairly negative review. I still think there should be different game modes. Battle friends, an endless mode and maybe a concert mode to play sets of songs. Other complaint, song menu; you can click the song but rather than just letting you hear a sample of it you are taken back to home screen. It currently sucks that it is so easy to miss a tile and lose, if you don’t want to buy the diamonds then game over. I do wish the cash grab aspect wasn’t there.

  14. This game is really fun and addicting. I’m a huge fan of rhythm games and the app store is sorely lacking in that department. Unfortunately I might love the game too much, as I have finished all the content currently available. Will bump up to five stars once more levels and songs are added! I’ve been stuck at level 16 with no more songs to unlock (other than the paid tour pass) for a couple of months.

  15. I’d give this five stars it’s my favorite mobile game for a while now. I’ve gotten really good at it but to unlock new songs it takes about a week to get a new song once you get all song boxes maxed. As well as the wheel spins for every event are rigged I’ve only gotten 4 “exclusive” items and I’ve played for a while. I have to watch twice the ads then I get play time and without buying gems for money, which I have done before, you get nowhere the boxes are too expensive. please look into it.

  16. Greg M. dice:

The tap accuracy has definitely improved! What sucks now is in order to get new songs you have to spend money. I was very happy that this last competition round included a heavy box and a tour mix box!!!! But without any new journeys still, the only way I unlock get prior tour songs is spending money. Needs new journeys and more sales on prior songs to make them cheaper. Oh and keep the new boxes in the competitions!

  17. SoUL OdiLE dice:

I really don’t know why I stay playing this game. On more than one occasion of me testing it did I find that the tiles are never actually on beat and everytime I play a damn song, it’s going well and then glitches to the point where the tiles are even more off beat than usual. So you basically just sit there and anticipate the tiles hit the line instead of tapping to the beat of the song and enjoying yourself. It turns into a frustrating experience. App used to be great, now turned into a scam.

  18. Amboo dice:

Good game. Amazing game, even. But, I really, REALLY hate how it doesn’t register my taps correctly. It’ll say I tapped a note that’s way above the Perfect + space and I didn’t tap it. Or with the swipe notes, it ALWAYS messes me up with those notes. It says I almost never swipe on those notes even when I clearly do. Please fix this if possible. Make it more flexible with recognition, and your performance with it, cause I hate failing these songs for reasons that aren’t my fault.

  19. Everything about the game is fine to me, but while doing a song, whenever the 2 arrows up ro down comes they never work for me, it shows that I tapped it when I clearly swiped. On all of my friends phones there’s is fine(they are on iPhone) I’m on android. They get the same problem when they use my phone. Plz fix this it gets so annoying on song when you die right at the end of a good run.

  20. This has quickly become one of my FAVORITE games, but it needs an update. It’s glitchy. Sometimes when I push a regular button, or a slide button it doesn’t register that you slid it. The game itself also semi freezes sometimes. PLEASE update it as I love it, and have gotten many of my friends to play it. Thank you, next.

  21. One thing that instantly turned me off… In one song, specifically Happier by Marshmello and Bastille, totallyat random halfway through the song, it started failing me for “failing to swipe”. No swipe note. Hell, not even a note where it was failing me! I understand bugs in games, but rhythm games of this style were literally perfected in the early 2000’s… How the game thinks there’s a note that DOES NOT EXIST is there is beyond me. The fact this even happened has made me uninstall.

  22. Xayners dice:

I enjoyed the game enough to toss a little cash to remove ads, but the box unlocking ruins the enjoyment of the game immensely. I can play 3-4 songs and then wait several hours for one box to unlock when I have 2 others waiting to be unlocked but I can’t start the timer on those until a box has been unlocked so I literally can play for 5 minutes and then have to put the game down for hours only to play for 5 more minutes, rinse, repeat. At least allow the timers to go on all the boxes at once.

  23. Mia Luna dice:

Been playing for months, love the game. One of the main reasons was because there were no intrusive ads, I would watch plenty of ads anyways but for rewards, because it was my choice it didn’t feel like a chore. Now every time I finish a song an ad pops up, and 9/10 times so far it has caused my game to crash, or it wouldn’t let me get back to the game even after the ad ended, only leaving the option of restarting the game again and again. Very disappointed. Hope it gets reversed, can’t play.

  24. This game is fantastic and so much fun. However, there are two features I’d like to propose. One is trading in songs you’re tired of or don’t love and have them count toward new songs. Second is to make the “perfect” zone adjustable, as in allow the user to move it up and down. I feel like I have to keep my thumbs in a cramped position to do well and if they relax my score starts slipping. Maybe that’s the point, but it sure would be nice!

  25. Now that I’m seeing the free aspect of the game, it’s truly depressing. Waiting for hours to unlock a collection box, and when your box slots are full, you have to watch ads each time you want to play a song. If you fail or complete a song, you can’t replay the song (this option is only available when you are getting points toward boxes). After a while, ads stop becoming available, and you are forced to stop playing the game. 1☆ until it gets better.

  26. I really enjoy this because it reminds me so much of guitar hero which use to be one of my favorite games to play. It has some great songs. On the downside there are a lot of ads for other games and it gets annoying. They pop up after every song and I eventually get tired of waiting for the ads to go away so I can play another song. The songs difficulty range from normal, hard and extreme and they sometimes do get really difficult the faster they start going. Arrow swipin doesn’t work sometimes

  27. D H (DH) dice:

I really want to rate this higher. It’s a good concept, graphics are well done, immersive, etc. Song selection is somewhat varied, Is give it a B- and that’s saying a lot from me. The biggest problem is the devs have chosen to show long form ads, many of which cannot be muted. And the volume of songs in the game is a little quiet, so you turn it up and BAM LOUD AD SCREAMING IN YOUR EAR. I might have to stop playing just because of this.

  28. It’s enjoyable enough to pass time. Song selection is okay enough to not drop the add for lack of variety. Ads are pretty frequent and difficult to close out. Also button sensitivity on swipes and double notes is annoying. It either lags and claims you didn’t tap or doesn’t register your swipe and ends your song. It’s worth giving a try, but nothing to be overly wowwed by.

  29. I love the game! What i don’t like is how slow going getting the songs are. Sure you better your old scores, but it still gets monotonous after awhile. Also, idk if it’s just my phone, but it lags and glitches sometimes, which DOESN’T help when you’re trying to get into those higher bracket scores. Edit: new phone, same problems. It’s infuriating, especially in an event… yeah. I was contacted to send a screenshot, idk how I’m supposed to screenshot while playing…

  30. Great idea for an app, but very poor game play. I’ve tried calibrating it a million times, but it still doesn’t register and has me missing notes that were definitely hit. It really has an problem registering swipes. From seeing other reviews, it seems to be an issue with Samsung Galaxies. It’s a shame because it’s a really fun concept, but it seems to be set to up to be impossible for those with certain phone types.

  31. I want to like this game but there’s glaring issues. 1. being if you have any other apps running in the background of your phone the game lags and doesn’t register your taps correctly. 2. Having to resync the audio almost every time I turn the app on is SEVERELY frustrating. 3. Difficulties between hard and normal are subjective, ive had some Normal songs give me more trouble than some hard songs. 4. individual songs/seasons are way too expensive for what you get because the pass is too short

  32. I love the game play, the music selection, and the events…BUT the time it takes to open each collection box is rediculous, and when you do open one you only get to play MAYBE 3 times before you run outta slota and it costs too much in gems to keep “buying” play time…a waste of real $$. Not to mention the ads can be really long and extremely loud compared to the music in game play, and sometimes no option to mute the sound. Can be frustrating.

  33. I’d give it 5 stars if you could choose your difficulty on songs. not ever being able to play a song because it’s expert sucks. I’d also change how when you miss a beat you either use gems or lose. it should allow you to continue the song and just have a lower score like most other beat games do. and if you miss enough then it stops the song. fix those 2 things and I’d be hooked.

  34. Best rhythm game on the Google play store, the rhythm mapping of the songs are amazing, the way that certain notes correspond to the lyrics of songs really shows the effort and passion that goes into this game, plus there aren’t any ads getting shoved in your face nonstop, I always find myself getting really into the beat and I actually sometimes move to it, I feel the beat, and I think you should too, I really recommend playing this game, I truly think it is the best mobile game I’ve played.

  35. I’m absolutely addicted to this game. Love love love rhythm games and this is a great one! However, I’ve noticed on multiple songs that even when I’m getting all perfect taps I can’t get past the 3x multiplier and therefore I’m not getting the score I should. That’s a big bug. Edit: received a response but I’m still checking it out on my end. Still love the game but trying to make sense of their scoring system

  36. Avi dice:

No longer fun for people who can’t afford to shell out cash for these events. You used to be able to get at least 2 free songs from them, now it’s only one. And as someone who’s caught up to collecting all the songs through the boxes i can’t use the other rewards. Plus when the competitions first came out i loved them! But now you have to purchase most of the songs to participate. Used to love this game but now i don’t even want to play anymore cause of this.

  37. Matthew dice:

Awesome game play which is almost always smooth. Sometimes the notes don’t all load and I have to predict where the next one is coming. The new update is unnecessary and a bit annoying. A personally catered Playlist may be interesting to some people, but I like to stick to one song for a while, and the way it is now is at the end of your song it automatically swipes to the next one. They could have allowed a favorite Playlist which would be better and easier to make. Or made real content.

  38. I’m really torn on this game. There is a decent selection of licensed music, the interface is smooth, and the gameplay is fun and challenging. However. It’s also incredibly unforgiving of failure. I could see missing 2 or even 3 notes before failing the song…but missing a single note seems more than a little unfair, especially considering how difficult some of the songs can get. It quickly goes from “challenging” to ” frustrating”, and it’s disappointing for an otherwise fun game.

  39. This app is honestly one of my favorites, it’s got challenging music, good songs, and not to many adds. There’s adds you can watch to get certain awards but that’s about it. The only thing that kinda gets annoying is when all of your cases are full and you can’t play another song without watching an add.. but apart from that it’s an awesome game. 🙂

  40. Great game, right up to the point where it makes you pay (literally) for your mistakes. I was so excited by a true free game – one that wasn’t swamped with ads or asking you to subscribe – that I actually spent money on additional content, figuring I’d be playing for a while, it would add to the experience, and I’d support a game for not being grabby. Now, if I play one wrong note, it makes me either pay paid game currency to finish the song, or it boots you back to the menu without finishing.
