Great app! Unfortunately and sadly I spoke too soon. The ads are really starting to pour in now and most are so repetitious that it makes me want to turn Samsung TV off. Please don’t become Roku! Don’t become another ad Warehouse this app has potential. Whether it’s for free or not , try to make it worth using. Way too many ads! I just counted 28 ads in 20 minutes! That’s ridiculous! This app went downhill fast!

  2. I read the email on my Samsung tablet, clicked on the link thought I would download it to try. There was no install for a Samsung tablet. I went on my Samsung phone S10 to download the app and try it. I flipped through all the channels and did not see hardly anything very interesting. It seemed mostly weather, sports of various types, old games of 70s, 80s, & later. Did not see any music earlier than mid 90s & below, no rock, rock&roll, etc. A few good Older movies. Boring app. MAKE for tablet.

No local or regional channels. Do not download if you are hoping to watch a local or regional rv channel that would be available with basic cable or a paid tv channel (youtube, hulu, etc). I have never, personally, heard of 95% of the channels in this app. With that, this all is super easy to use, set up, and watch. As soon as it installed it was 1 screen to agree to some basic functions and you are good to start watching. Has a sort by category and its easy to switch streams

  4. This app is pre-programmed on my Samsung TV . I am a big fan of Samsung products . But not a lot of the apps.. I gave this app a shot on the TV, ..the amount of commercials and the length of the commercials is just completely unbearable!! Good Lord, and then there’s another minute-and-a-half after the commercials that it counts down a timer till when the show comes back on!!! ORIGINAL Review: Did not ask for this app don’t use it. I going to have to go in and delete some bloatware

OK, I got the dead screen like everyone else but rather than closing the app I let it run for a while and didn’t pay attention to it it then suddenly the agreements showed up. You know where you give away all your data. Anyway, I did a one star review and it got taken down. 🤔 The app works, it has a ton of channels too. Most of which I’ll never watch hit that’s personal preference. Have it as a backup on the go. My son enjoyed it on a road trip so that’s a win in my book.

  6. Edit: Works in Hawaii and does not require GPS. Does not need Chromecast support, works with all Roku and Firestick devices. Review: One of my favorite apps right now. I love classic game shows. This is the best way to view them for free and one of the best ways to view them in general. Great video quality and normal amount of commercials, plus the ability to save favorite channels. I love it!

I’ve tried many of these “free streaming” apps on Android and Windows 10. This is really the best of them. The app is well made, with a great UI and good responsiveness on my Note 10. The content is overall better than any of its peer apps. There are actually some decent channels on here. Idk how often I’ll be using it, but if you are in need of free TV streaming, it doesn’t get much better than this app.

I wish by using the app it would control my Samsung TV’s built-in TV Plus app, but it can’t. It’s only good for watching TV Plus on your device. You can’t stream TV Plus to Chromecast or similar, either. Still, it’s a great free service. I love the Gordon Ramsay channels! They also have ones for MTV reality shows, Nosey (talk shows), all kinds of News, Vevo (music videos), Kids, game shows, 5 different Crime channels, plus gaming, anime, home improvement, etc.

Gave this a try and it’s totally fine if you’re looking for a classic television experience. Things air at specific times and there are commercial breaks. Don’t mistake this for an on-demand service. It has a good selection of channels, a lot of classic TV, and is good for the kind of person who misses being able to flip through channels before deciding on something to watch.

  10. I like the Samsung app. However what I have a problem with the free apps from streaming platforms say that they have local channels and you are not able to find the ones for your city or they are all news stations that do not have full access to the whole content. It’s either 1 or 2 mins of a story then it goes to something totally different. When you say local channels make it relevant to the zip code that that person is using.

  11. The app is visually stunning and easy to use. It has a lot of potential. However, this app doesn’t compare that well against Pluto Tv. I love that the app has a good selection of live channels, but it’s movie selection is lacking. I would like to see more movies being offered (maybe have a week where new movies can be watched for free for a short period of time). For now, I am unable to use this app as it does not have a lot of advantage when it comes to movie selection compared to Pluto Tv.

Really cool app if you arent a fan of TV to pay for streaming services but want to watch something every now and then. My only complaint.. if you are drawn to the music portion, there is NO rock/metal/punk/or any general alternative station. You got country, pop, hip hop, r&b, latino and right now holiday. Very lacking. (Oh and the constant pop up thats left behind everytime the app is closed)

  13. I’m giving it two stars for now, as the app doesn’t work and results in a black screen. I’ve tried reinstalling it both through Google Play and Galaxy Store, as well as rebooting my N20U, but nothing works. If I can get it working again, I’ll reevaluate my review. It’s a great idea, but the execution, so far, is terrible for me. Edit: I did as the developer asked and there was no change. I’ve reinstalled, cleared cache and data, etc., multiple times.

Four stars apps! Took 10 sec to install. Easy to navigate b/w live tv, movies, etc. No glitches so far. Only problem it appears there is no caption capability. Installed on Note 10+, even though as of 11/23/20, it was not on list of compatible devices. TYT appears to be as “live” as it is for YoutubeTV. Hurrah for more free live TV and movies!

  15. Absolutely 1 of the worst streaming platforms out there. Samsung is a multi-billion dollar company, yet Netflix makes Samsung look like retards when it comes to streaming! The volume setting is horrendous, and don’t even try to Fast Forward or Rewind a show because all it’s going to do is freeze up, glitch, and force you to reset and re-watch from the beginning, and that’s on a Samsung TV of all devices! Why companies can’t compete with Netflix is absolutely disgusting to even think about! 👎👎

  16. I’d say this is a solid response to Apple TV… a free streaming service that offers a fair amount of content. Yes there are ads (that appear at random times), but you can manually select what “channel” you want to watch and add it as a favorite. The main “guide” only shows the current live program and whatever will be showing after, but if you go to the channel itself, you can see the scheduled shows. Unfortunately, only 3 stars because this is a consolation of shows already free in some way.

  17. I do think the interface is really nice. Ima start on that note. Very clean layout. It could definitely use more mainstream channels alot of off the way channels. Somewhat of a movie selection with ads. But you are receiving this for free. Could be compared with Pluto tv. Pluto tv offers a little more but for starters samsung tv is headed in the right direction.

  18. A lot of shows that I’ll probably never watch, but for what it is, not to bad. At least I can drop my blood pressure watchin Bob Ross paint again! And get some more ideas for when I set up my my oil painting gear and paint my own little worlds. I’m hoping that some more current shows and movies will come along as the app gets better. Some channels with shows like History, Discovery and National Geographic would be way cool.

the way the app works on a phone vs a smart TV is wildly different. the app constantly crashes on the smart TV while watching on demand to where its pointless to use because you cannot pick up from where you left off, unlike the phone app. it forces you to either rewatch from the beginning or you have to guess where it stopped and then sit through 2 minutes worth of repetitive ads that make you want to give up on the episode all together. too many crashes, too many repetitive ads. not worth it.

  20. Definitely enjoy the app. But recently i have been unable to get full volumne. I will only get the background music but none of the dialogue. Its a bit annoying and its not on every channel. Only the channels I like watching. Maybe it can get fixed? As for the number of ads at times in can be a lot, well other times rarely any adds. But you can always change to a different channel. Thanks
