  1. It does what it should. The navigation is a little less intuitive than the desktop version of the website, but it’s smoother than the mobile website. It’s a little frustrating that the various functions of ADT are spread across multiple apps, but that’s not this app’s fault.

  2. I was forced to download this new app as the old one no longer worked. This new one has not worked. I constantly get this message when I go to review my alarm activity “An unexpected error has occurred we are unable to complete your request at this time.” This has occurred every time I have used the app. I have two locations listed in the app and can only view alarm history for one. Waiting on the fix.

    Moved to a temporary address while under contract at the previous address. Called to see my options, signed up for ADT Blue so I wouldn’t get hit with an early termination fee. Called numerous times after seeing a total of $800 was going to be charged to my account as an “early cancelation fee.” Each time, was reassured that the amount had been removed and it would not be charged. Low and behold, today it was charged to my account. You have lost a customer and I will let everyone know as well.

  4. I have multi homes with adt. When I try and switch between them in the app from the drop down I get the following error. An unexpected error has occurred and we are unable to complete your request at this time. I have logged out and back in and I get the same error. I’ve deleted the app and installed again and I get the same error. It simply won’t let me switch between homes. Please fix this.

  5. Confusing. Log in required twice. Troubleshooting is not straight forward. I was looking for chime problem solution, it may be there, but I could not find it. Chat I was 3rd in line, who knows how long that takes. BTW, your live Customer support is good after having to wait a long time. At this rate one might start looking for alternative service provider. Why do you not have a call back choice? You I might consider expanding your customer service staff.

  6. So far, I have had two false alarms that happened while I was out of town and ADT failed to notify me or the two other contacts who are listed on my account. If ADT had the ability to notify customers via push notifications about the alarm going off, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. Even a notification with the simple message “Please call us ASAP” would be a huge help.

  7. This app works great on my iphone, but I have never been able to log into it on my HP Chromebook. After I put in my email and password it tries to connect to server and open but it doesn’t, it just reverts back to the login page. Really don’t understand why it works on one device but not the other. Even the troubleshooting protocol doesn’t help. I need help in resolving this issue.

  8. Initially couldnt log in and and had already changed my password. I was able to contact adt online and got help very quickly. They also helped explain my bill to me. I enjoy how easy the app is to use and manage all communication. Much more convenient than trying to find a computer as the app now has the same amount of information as the website had.

  9. This app is terrible. It never saves my payment methods even though saving is selected. It constantly deletes my autopay every month so my payments become overdue. I have tried different bank accounts, different banks different cards, doesn’t matter, app deletes all the info and cancels my autopays every month. Just take my money! That or it is the company, but the reps seem just as clueless and unhelpful. As soon as I am out of this contract I am dropping this company, it is trash.

  10. This app does not allow me to sign in. It does not recognize my login info nor the account number. Sad, I only want to see a breakdown of my bill. The customer service rep had no idea on how to show me this info, reading it to me is NOT what I needed. If so, i can read the payment to him. UPDATE 03262022: this app still is not working properly, as I try to create an account, it will not show me the requitements for the password. It only says invalid.

  11. When trying to log in to old app it said I needed to update, however this was not an option. Had to install new app, tried to log in and it kept telling me info I input was wrong…not..same email and password for my account I have been using for 2 years. Had to set up new password, no it tells me I am locked out for to many login attempts . So at this point I don’t see or know of any improvement over the old app that worked fine….after coming out of my timeout session I was able to login

  12. ADT is a company that I trust for my security, but their customer service is awful. it’s hard to get someone on the phone. The technicians are awesome and do a great job when they come out to get you up and running. Thank you to the last technician, Joseph for doing a good job and he was so caring about my needs to repair my service.

  13. This App is Terrible at Bill Payment. You pay, it says it was accepted and gives you a confirmation number – yet it doesn’t apply the credit and the credit card used doesn’t show a pending charge. I’ve enrolled in easy pay multiple times, gotten confirmation numbers for every one yet every time I go back into the app it asked me to enroll an easy pay again. Worse, my bill isn’t getting paid. At this point I’m going to have my bank send a paper check and I hope it’s a pain in the butt to cash lol

  14. I’m so disappointed, and should have read reviews before choosing this comoany. I recently signed on with ADT, and for 2 days have attempted to download apps. The My ADT and ADT control apps WILL NOT download on my phone! I’ve even called customer service, but was told that maybe my phone is too old, and to contact my carrier? I have always been able to download any other apps, so the problem is not with my phone. I would love to have all access through my phone (which was a great pitch).

  15. Recognized email but not Pulse password. After multiple log in attempts, made me contemplate life and why on Earth ADT has two apps that really should be combined into one…one for monitoring and one for billing… Iguess I get it from a security standpoint…but as a user… I still question the need to have 2 apps when the security for the billing app is lacking…

  16. This app is broken. I know my login and password, and cannot login in. I even went and reset my password through the website, and it still does not work. What is the point of this new version of MyADT app. The old version worked fine.

    $4,000. system (Without one single camera) and it works like trash. Constantly calling them because stuff stops working!! Don’t bother buying anything from them, it’s definitely not worth the ridiculous amount of money they charge including the $300. for each blurry camera!!!!!

  18. Terrible!!! You try to change payment method and the chat head keep popping up and then it’s no help!!! Also had to pay for front and back door sensor before alarm would work. Thought they was included in the deal!!!!

  19. I saw a previous review on how it says your information is wrong. It let me update my password using my email and then tried to log in and it says my email is incorrect and my answers to my security question was wrong but it’s not. I’ll just stick with old app until you fix the bugs. Also, I never received my $100 gift card and it’s been over a year???

  20. They broke things that worked in the last app. If you have multiple locations, this app will not work for you and you have to use the website, I stopped using the app at this point. They need to fix the update process as well as it’s not existent.

    The ADT app is so easy to use just like their alarm systems! I’ve had them in the last 2 homes I’ve built and I wouldn’t consider another alarm system bc they are the best & a great company to deal with! Not to mention they’re prices are very reasonable. I wouldn’t live anywhere without ADT monitoring my home & our safety! Thanks ADT!!

I had problems in the beginning of the service i have the service for 5 months the app took a little of getting use to it but now it works good I don’t have pulse setting the alarm is easy on and off , checking the cameras is easy I just wish they offer another camera for free with the plan but other wise I am good with the service.

  23. Always getting an error message when I try to change addresses. I have unstall and installed again with the same error message with the old app and the new and improved app.

  24. The crime map wasn’t accurate for where I live. Unless there’s absolutely no crime within 20 mi of where I live (basically no crime indications showed up). Also I don’t see any reason to have this on my phone There wasn’t much I would do within this app that I would do often enough to have it on my phone.

  25. Up until the first of this year, I have been very pleased with app. But, I still cannot log into my app and communication has been zilch with ADT tech support. I travel and need my app to work when away for reasons of importance.

  26. right now im pissed. i created account but i cannot get in it. it keep going back to signing in. i need to resolve a bill i just received in mail. #2 what company sends out a bill with NOOOO contact number regarding any issues or maybe to speak directly tro some one and the number i did find; saids leave a voice message…WHAT!!!!

  27. Why not an app that can handle the billing, system testing, AND system status, and arm/disarm? I don’t think that is too high a bar for a such a big company with tech-savvy folks. And from all the similar reviews I think it would be a major customer satisfier. Come on, ADT.

  28. Crashes periodically and not much functions for camera. No sound barely takes any video clips even when set to do so.

    Update to ADT reply: That is great, call them. What great idea, not! Nobody answer, no live person gets back to you and when reach out via another avenue, you get bot and not live chat. Then ADT ask me for feedback, and I advised of my issue and reaching them is next to impossible for me. I have tried numerous times. So far it’s been 5 weeks since feedback given and no email or call back. Boy, what great service a loyal customer gets. Worthless, Take Up Space, Use their Web Site.

  31. I cannot even log into this app even though I use the Adt pulse app & pay for their servive (if you want to call it that )because it asks for a voice password.. It also does not have a work around to confirm your identity so that’s it uninstall.

    So far this app seems to do what it is supposed to with the exception that you can’t seem to do a live chat through the app but only through a browser.

  33. Very helpful app. I’m able to see what devices are connected and keeps me up to date with my payments and scheduled appointments for my ADT. Very user friendly.

  34. Not a great payment option, it now won’t let me “finish” my payment. I’ve tried every day for the past week. I had to go to the website. And it doesn’t save my information so it’s not very convenient. Pointless app to have.

  35. Was told I had a 30 day free trial. Yet they attempted to bill my card several times in that 30 days.Also,the outdoor camera didn’t work when received. Been told for over a month now it’s on its way just wait longer.I requested to return my equipment but was told it was the 31st day but that they would forward my request and see.Been trying to get ahold of someone since because I never heard back.Any time I get thru, I get put on hold and booted back to the automated system.I could keep going…

  37. Haven’t been able to retrieve account information for3 days now. I called and no one seems to know what’s going on. My account shows 0 balance which was untrue I gad to call the next day to make my payment over the phone.

  38. State-of-the-art technology. The installer was professional and courteous. The app is amazing. I am able to set the alarm, lock and unlock the front door, and control my thermostat.

  39. Why can’t I login to my account on the myADT app? I can login online without any trouble, but not with the app. The experience I’ve had with my new control system really sucks. The support isn’t much better.

  40. My outside camera hasn’t worked in MONTHS!! I have unplugged it numerous times to see if it would reset itself. Nope! So please come fix it!
