  1. I love this app. It’s great for editing videos and making cool things but there are two problems if you don’t pay money you can’t export more than a 30 second video and sometimes when I want to delete something it doesn’t work and I have you exit the app and go back in them it works. If they could fix the delete button and make you be able to export longer videos I would be 5 stars. But it is still a great app.

  2. Amazing app!! I use it for animation memes and I think it’s the best mobile app for that purpose. However there are a few issues that I have with it.First of all, sometimes video or music will lag(?) while I’m editing. It will play ahead or behind where it should actually be playing and that makes it more difficult to use. I’ve learned to deal with it but if you could improve that I would be so happy. I would love to see a chroma key added into the app as it would open so many opportunities.

  3. Cute cut is great! I’ve been using it a few days now and have made some pretty decent video edits. But I can’t really say a full 5 stars. After exporting about 5 projects into videos, I can’t export any more. It says that they’ve been turned into videos, but when I go into my gallery they aren’t there. I admit, I overreacted about it a bit. But still. It really annoys me. But otherwise, great app!

  4. I love this app. Once you understand it, it gives you good stuff. The only issue is that when I try to make Instagram videos (edits), I can’t have more than two or three video tracks. Like, one track has the music, another has a video, another one has another video, and then I can’t add a third one after that. That’s sucks. Other than that, this app is awesome.

Okay so, It was cool from the start. I used it like normal, yadda yadda, all the features are easy to use and easy to figure out. The main problem im having with it, is now. I imported a 15 minute movie, and split it up into 149 total little clips. When I go to delete the unwanted clips, it doesn’t delete and just turns off the bottom menu of the selected clip. Don’t know if this is because of my phone, or it’s the app. I’m trying to load the movie I spent so much time on, but it crashes.

  6. Everything has been working fine up until recently. The only audio that it’s letting me edit now is the ones that aren’t full songs, which I need to do my videos. Otherwise it’s a good app. So whenever I try to edit full on songs, it says the there’s an error and that the app needs to restart. Then when I go on it, the audio is completely gone. I think it’s stupid that it won’t let me edit the audio, please fix it.

  7. I’ve always used Cute Cut to edit, and it usually works out quite well for me, but recently it glitches a lot. The settings for my self-draw option don’t show up, so I can’t do anything with it except for a rectangular green shape. It’ll randomly crash at times, too, as well as not having the preset transitions work correctly. Overall a nice app, but the glitches are getting to the point where it’s frustrating to even open the app now.

This is a really good editing app for Intermediate editors. Lots of transitions to make, and a lot of presets to help you out, too! I wouldve rated it 4.5 if that was an option, but the only thing I wish they could add is zooming in more, that’s all! But it’s very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I definitly reccomend getting pro if you are going to use it. It is NOT a continuous pay. You pay 6 dollars, then thats it. It might be a little confusing at first, so you could watch tutorials

  9. A great app for edits when you figure out how to mimic effects and such. The only thing I would ask is to somehow get a motion blur. I happened to have the six dollars to buy the full version because the watermark was annoying and the 30 second thing etc.. but if you really want people to put in the extra buck for it I’d try to add some sort of effect like that. Other than that, once you get the hang of it its smooth sailing from there.👌

  10. Soul Den dice:

this app’s pretty nice, makes your phone editting seem professional. the only thing that’s annoying in my opinion is the fact that the music volume toggling doesn’t work at all, not really. at first it works, but then it just doesn’t. so if you’re trying to voice over quiet background music, your voice is drowned out. and, to make it more frustrating, you can’t turn the voice over up louder to make up for it. And I paid for this app, so i know its not a free features issue.

  11. I actually really like this app, but there are bugs that come with it. First of all, exporting is super annoying. I’m trying to export a project and the process quits when the time is down to thirty seconds. Second of all, the app tends to glitch out a ridiculous amount of times. I have to keep reopening the app because the items stop functioning properly at random points. That’s honestly it, this app is wonderful! I wish it did have a green screen and effects library though.

  12. I’ve used this app for 3-4 years now, and it’s by far my favorite mobile editor. Its very easy to learn, and there’s a good amount of stuff to play around with. But I feel like this app is lacking two very simple things. The first is audio. It’d be tremendously cool if you could see waveforms in music, making it so such easier to sync clips to audio. The second is speed ramping/velocity in the custom transition. Also being able to put it at more specific times like 1.25x or whatever.

  13. I think the app is alright but I feel like 30 seconds is to small even for the free version. It should be 45 seconds to a minute at maximum to make a video edit. Also the watermark should be something that’s in the beginning and not all the way through the edit. Third of all, I tried to make a video edit with Morse Code but the app kept shutting down so i don’t know if it’s an issue with the app or the file. But the app for the most part is really good and especially for starters.

  14. This app is great and all i’ve been using it for years now, it lets you be creative with the transitions and i love that but please please please fix the bugs. My app is constantly crashing to the point where I need to uninstall it and reinstall it. Videos i put in a project are constantly buggy and very hard to work around! It would be nice if you guys were to fix all this then everything will be more nice!!! :}

  15. Great editing app, but there are some things that could be added to make it even better. For example: – More / Custom easing options – more aspect ratio options (18:9, 21:9, etc) – the ability to export videos in 4k I know this app hasn’t been updated in awhile, and doesn’t show any signs of being so, but dev(s), if you happen to see this review, it would be great if you guys added these features. Otherwise, this app is nearly perfect. Great job!

  16. I was doing an edit for Instagram and had spent a few hours working on it in the app. I added text to the video, the app crashed, and I was instantly unable to regain access to the video because the “Current movie project is damaged”. I have used CuteCut in the past and *just* purchased the full version today, so needless to say, I’m quite disappointed. I’m not going to uninstall the app, but I’m frustrated beyond belief that I wasted hours to lose something I worked hard on.

  17. Hey. My friend uses Cute Cut Pro and she has this weird glitch that goes on when she is making a video. When she tries to move one of the transition arrows, it moves on its own and and when she rewinds to watch what she made, it won’t play and it’ll just skip to the end. She has a T-Mobile Revvely and I have a Samsung Galaxy 6. I do not have these problems, but it would be SUPER appreciated if you would fix this. Thanks for reading.

  18. I have been using CuteCut Pro for about a year and it has done well for the most part (Some app crashes here and there, annoying but manageable since it still saves the last action you made), but today I noticed that it no longer shows the visuals for a video when you put one in the timeline. I’ve tried re-opening the app, deleting and restarting the project, and uninstalling and re-installing the app, but the issue is still there. It has never done this before and I’m not sure what else to do.

  19. Semper dice:

I’m not gonna sugarcoat it, this app has some problems. I was trying to make a video and it would not stop crashing, and my video and audio speed were inconsistent when viewing my project. I tried everything, even restarting my phone. (I didn’t Uninstall, as that would delete my project.) It’s also very cheap. Most of the better parts of the app are locked behind a pay wall.

  20. Amazing editor, but maybe you could add some features. Like being able to flip your transitions. It also annoys me when you can’t get complete accuracy with your transitions since the image doesn’t move along with the guidelines. It would be cool if you could add greenscreen and a reverse video option so you don’t have to use a 2nd party app. Other than that I have no complaints.4.5 star rating from me!

  21. I love this app. For starters, the clips can roll a gif on the background with transitions and it allows for transparent pngs to be added which makes it even better. The whole limited time unless you pay for premium thing is bad, but that doesnt limit anythin really, i mean, make another animation with it and pur them together in another app. What is kind of annoying, though, is that the only movement is for transitions. I would really like my image to be all over the place on the screen.

  22. it works perfectly fine and i’ve made some of my best edits with this app but now, all of a sudden, it keeps crashing. i keep trying to cut some audio and whenever i do, the app completely freezes and i cant even press play to see if i did what i attempted. then, i have to leave the app without saving anything and it takes me back to where i was before. its infuriating and i want it to stop. it’s a great app overall.

  23. Good for making edits, gets the job done. However, I woulf totally give 5 stars if the playback wasn’t so glitchy and laggy in app. I shouldn’t have to constantly save a video just to make sure it’s on beat because in app playback is inaccurate. Also, sometimes when I save the video, the video would have glitches or the music would be silent, so I would have to go back in and try to save it again. If these issues were resolved, I would most definitely give 5 stars.

  24. I’ve always used this app to create little edits here and there, and I absolutely love it. The only complaint that I have right now is that when stitching together different pictures or videos, it will freeze and skip where they are stitched together to I cant tell if they are in sync with the audio I have playing with it. I have to download the video and play it over in my photo gallery just to be able to check because the app is a bit glitchy. Other than that, this is an amazing app!

  25. yeah no dice:

I wish it was more smooth and I wish you can have a longer time length, but otherwise it’s a really great editing app! I reccomend for beginners. There’s varieties tutorials for transition and I think it’s the easiest to work with. But, I do wish you can have unlimited rows for all categories; for example how much videos you can add. As far as I’m concerned, I’m sure you can only add 3 videos in 1 and sometimes we need more. It’s still a very great app and I still recommend for beginners.

  26. I’ve been using this app for a while for editing and other stuff, but recently all the time I try to add a tradition, make the screen bigger, or move a layer, it crashes. I thought i was just my storage just messing it up or something but after clearing unwanted files and tried using it again, it still crashed. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or a bug 🤷

  27. i think it’s cool and all, but there aren’t many options. like, could we get 3d shapes and the ability to put more than two videos on a project? also, a few more preset transitions would be nice. also it crashes a lot whenever i’m trying to work and it gets annoying. i really like the app, but there’s a lot if things that need to improve. more benefits for pro would be nice, because it doesn’t feel like it’s really worth it.

  28. I like the app, it’s really easy to use when it come to adding effects to my videos. however I dont like how I can only export 30s of the video, and to be able to export more than 30s I have to pay money. instead maybe we should be able export full video and not just 30s on the free version, and pay to remove the water mark, and the have the plus version of it.

  29. This has been my go-to editor for quite some time now, but there are some problems. 1. Kinds of transitions other editors have but this doesn’t. 2. It’s been 2 years since the last update. Where you at? 3. Timeline previewing isn’t very smooth even on a decent machine. 4. noticable static noise when playing from one video clip into another. With all that bring said, I think this is a great app, but it needs more updates, please address this. Thank you.

  30. MadNixoli dice:

I have the paid version, and it works well. I use it for most of my videos, and it rarely flaws. Occasionally it will position the video to far to the left (but not cutting any of the video off), even though it doesn’t show that position in the preview. Feedback: When looking for local audio, being able to search (or have buttons on the side that immediately scroll to a certain letter of file names when tapped) would be useful. Being able to specificy the rotation angle would be useful too.

  31. I was liking it so far, until I tried to save my video I was making, which happened to be almost 30 minutes long. It told me it could only save the first 30 seconds of my video, and now I very much dislike this app. Aspiring YouTubers stumble across this app and think, ‘Oh! I could use this app to help my career! And it’s free!!’ Then when they make their video, which would most likely be over 30 seconds, their hopes and dreams get crushed. An amazing app only allowing 30 seconds of video to be saved.

  32. This app is so amazing. It can do a lot of different things and most of the time it turns out really good. Although, it might just be my device, but sometimes CuteCut will glitch and delete everything if you delete ONE thing in your gallery that might not even be rekevant to the photos in your file. Other than that, amazing app!

  33. Great editing app. And I wish I could get pro! The free version is even great. But since you can only export 30 seconds. I just make short vids for TikTok. But for the 4★. For more than one video. Or one video later in the clip I’m making. Seems to glitch so I can’t match it properly w/ the sound I add in it. Also a pears to happen in any part of the video half the time, so I have to restart the video at the beginning everytime I add a transition.

  34. what’s up cutecut? • I’ve been using cutecut for an entire year and it has been AMAZING! My video edits are high quality and everything is alright! Today, I was editing and i noticed that the videos weren’t saving into my gallery!! It said that the video was exported successfully so I was confused. I restarted phone, uninstalled the app and the video was still not appearing in my gallery. Please fix this if it is a bug!!!

  35. Amazing app, buying pro is definitely worth it. I just have one small issue, but it doesn’t really affect the outcome of the video so you get 5 stars. It’s just an annoying bug. Every time I create a video, it always says cute cut crashes and I have to exit out and back in to make the video. It is just a bit annoying but other than that the app is worth it. Although the crashing thing might just be on my device, idk.

  36. This is probably the best app to use if you want to add transition to your videos or photos! But you don’t just click a button to add a transition you have to do it all manually. Don’t worry though there are tons of tutorials on how to make the transitions especially on YouTube. The best thing about making transitions manually is that your able to create new ones that you’ve never even thought of. Believe me this app is like ae except on a phone! It takes a little practice to get used to using but once you know how to use everything you’ll consider this app a keeper.

  37. honestly, i love this app, it’s a great app for editing. but lately the app keeps making the audio out of sync and it stresses me out.. i can’t even edit with the audio like this. i tried everything, uninstalled it and installed it again, i searched for the problem on the internet but nothing works!! please fix the problem, i’m not the only one complaining about this.

  38. Works pretty great but is limited. App seems to chug and crash when you pull too many images and clips at the same time, probably because it has more to keep track of as the app doesn’t copy the media you put in it, but rather remembers the location of it on your phone. This issue can be worked around inside the app though. It is also VERY annoying to have an image on a timeline push back other images later on the same timeline when you edit the placement of it.

  39. I used to have this app on my iPhone and when I finally switch to Android this was the first app that I paid for. it has a slightly higher learning curve than something like iMovie or otherwise, but really it is the best editing flow that I’ve had on a mobile device. it’s great for editing short videos or clips together for Instagram or social media ( My favorite part is that you can export vertical or horizontal with or without white bars to accommodate social media platforms. totally worth $$$

  40. Horrible app. Unlike better apps like Kinemaster and Power Director, it took me a total of thirty minutes to try to even begin to figure out what the hell I was doing. Few features, disgusting layout and absolutely impossible to use. The layout needs to be far more user friendly in order to make sure they can actually use an app if they want to rate it’s quality.
