  1. 3 day trail period. Who does that on a piano app? Trash. If you want to learn piano, there are far better resources than an app on the play store. Disgusting. (Edit: My original comment remains. I won’t remove it because they were my first impressions. Apparently you can remove the subscription banner, which I’m assuming is the request to have a subscription, in order to access the keyboard/free piano features. If that’s true then this is just another piano app with more. Not bad.

  2. Reinstalled to mess with the piano on the go; got relentlessly bombarded with ads. I had this on my old phone a while back; pretty simple enough, had multiple instruments and a few other things. It was OK. When I came back to it, it wanted me to buy some subscription service for it. All the instruments from before were locked behind it, too. The app also now wanted me to download all the other instrument apps as well. If you just want a digital piano, this app is not for you.

  3. Very few songs available that are free and they are mostly children’s nursery songs, the app offers a 7 day free trial for unlimited access at the end of the trial if you want to keep unlimited access it will cost $40 a year!! for me it’s not worth it, the game itself is a lot of fun just wish it wasn’t so spendy. I gave the app 4 stars because it’s pretty cool and easy to navigate and the colors and graphics are awesome.

  4. This app used to be pretty average. Very managable, convenient, and useful. A while ago, however, all of the instruments were removed and now need to be either purchased or unlocked by sharing the app several times. On top of that, advertisements will pop up any time between 15-30 seconds, it seems. I kept using it less and less, which eventually led to me uninstalling the app. Very annoying and very limited. Do not install.

  5. The game is free and it mostly works, but there are some problems. I would start by having a closed space rather than just a line to signal when to play the notes, this way making it easier to be accurate. I would also seperate the autoplayed part from the manual and let it play by itself without relying on the manual part to help players keep time and not get frustrated from suffering an either rushed or choppy sound.

  6. Most garbage piano app I’ve ever used. You know how it says free in the title, it’s not. Nearly impossible to figure out how to even get in without paying. All the songs are cut short, can’t adjust the key size, only about 10 songs available without paying. There’s random popup ads and asks you to buy the $50 subscription nearly every 2 minutes. $50 for a piano app, might as well just buy a piano. I’m extremely disappointed with this app.

  7. I read a few of the reviews and tried it anyway. Upon opening the app, you see the typical benefits of subscribing to their premium app. I don’t want to so I scrolled to the next and to finally the third. I was looking for a way to close out the pages so I could begin. There isn’t an “x” to close, there isn’t an option for “no thanks”. You have one option and one option only. Subscribe to the free trial. If they lie about being able to skip this part, exactly how easy is it to unsubscribe…

  8. So I saw how many people said it was walled off by a subscription bar and they’re both right and wrong. They’re right since when you finally hit “Play” it pulls up how you want to pay for a subscription but you can apoarently skip past it. There is no X and I honestly am not sure how I got past that screen but when I finally did I wasn’t impressed. I was even less impressed when it outright told me that any progress made in the game wouldn’t be saved unless I subscribed. So no, you guys get a 1

  9. I do not like the way the tiles set up is with push any key to play the note. I’ve not ever herd songs on an ap like this that we’re cut off like this one does. I have a different ap that does the tiles but you must play the right note. This is not educational nor fun at all. Anyone can tap a screen. Plus you want to charge people for the use of an extremely limited song list. Unsubscribed, uninstalled, disappointing.

  10. John Doe dice:

I downloaded the app. Without the free 3 day trial the download is dead a end to having to buy it for nearly a $100. It won’t last more than 10 minutes on my phone. The marketing method is dubious, giving the imagery of a free app but they want way too much for it and it’s just not in my budget right now. Besides, their structure trickery makes me wary of pouring that much money into something with that disingenuous.

  11. I subscribed to the free trial and canceled it about four days early, but after a week had passed all of the premium features were still unlocked. This confuses me because I know I canceled it. To further that, I went to my subscription page on the play store and it said I had none. The game also still tries to get me to participate in the lifetime pass and says I’ve already participated in the free trial. This needs to be fixed. If I am charged I will be quite angry and will pursue this further.

  12. 9/26/2019 – App is slow. I just timed it. Time I tapped on the icon to the time keyboard appeared: **12 seconds** It shows you two ads that are hard to get rid of. The final straw was yesterday, when they sent a spam notification asking you to use the app. 1/21/2020 – Can’t figure out how to try keyboard for free, without purchasing a subscription with credit card. There’s a free three day trial, but I don’t want to deal with hassle of canceling.

  13. worst game in existence, piano and the game is too high pitch, there’s no new modern songs, and if there was it wouldn’t sound good, you can’t play any songs of your own without it sounding bad, also when you are doing it all by yourself without the keys that fall down onto the keyboard you can’t press to the keys at once which is very frustrating when you’re trying to make a very smooth nice song when sounds too high pitch it just sounds like screeching, thank you for the complete waste of time!

  14. Somehow, this app either bypassed the setting I had where I would be notified before any automatic subscriptions were purchased or my settings were reset before it renewed my subscription. I did as much as I could to prevent any automatic purchases after having trouble finding where to unsubscribe during the free trial. Regardless, it’s impossible to get a refund from them so I have this app for a year when I uninstalled it the day I tried it.

  15. I’m sure this app would be great. But the fact that you can’t use the free trial without putting a payment plan in place if you don’t cancel sucks. If that wasn’t a problem I’d love to play the app. Sadly I can’t enjoy cause I don’t have anything to setup a payment thing to cancel after X amount of days. Get rid of the payment setup thing and I’ll gladly play for the free amount of time I’m given.

  16. Fantastic app. I especially appreciate how you are not locked behind a pay wall or anything like that. There IS a little bit of audio lag sometimes, but it is low so it is mostly acceptable. Great job guys, keep up the good work! Oh yeah, and it’d be great if you guys added a synthetic kind of piano, like an electronic keyboard.

  17. Predatory (and misleading ad!) If you manage to dodge the up-front $60 subscription pop-ups, you’ll be graced with a resolution-mismatched facsimile of a piano rhythm game. There’s nearly a full second of input lag, and after every song the game reminds you to either take the 3-day free trial—which you’ll forget to cancel and then be out $60—or watch an ad. You don’t get to choose the songs, they’re fed to you one at a time, starting with “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.

  18. What do you mean “My progress can be lost”? If I had to LITERALLY pay to play this, it’s sad that this is free. Not to mention the ads EVERY TIME you unlock a song. . . Always 30 seconds. . . Almost always the same thing. That tree-merging game. I think those ads are their because ‘yall are trying to make yourselves look better but putting games in front that are probably better than yours. You want to fix this? Allow us to save our progress, cut back on the ads, and give us a clear goal.

  19. It’s alright. Very limited though. The price doesn’t really sound reasonable for the full premium version or for the free trial version. Especially if all of the instrument samples aren’t really that realistic. This app was better off as a fully free app.

  20. This is a spam app that locks up your phone. Yes, it plays music. But it bombards you with ads for the paid version, and other apps. There is no clear way to exit the app. If you click the “x” it will just take you to another ad. It is a disgrace for google to allow this as a featured product.

  21. I was fascinated when I saw it. But you can’t play the game. It tries to MAKE you pay for a subscription, you don’t even get a taste of the game itself. Not only that, but the yearly subscription is $90! And closing the subscription banner doesn’t work, btw. You can’t have “Free” in the title or have it say “Contains ads • In-app purchases” if you can’t even play without signing up for a subscription. Having a subscription option available is fine, but this is blatant false advertising.

  22. I installed the app, and it will not let me use any feature without subscribing to a free premium trial. I do not want to subscribe to anything, but the app will not allow me to proceed. I am uninstalling it now. What a waste of time. EDIT The reply from the developer is dishonest. There is NO WAY to access any “free” features without at least subscribing temporarily to their paid services. The reader will notice that the developer replies the same way every time to this kind of compliant.

  23. Thought it would be nice to help learn piano or even just play music. It is more of a roughly made “magic tile” game, as there’s millions of them with better ui. The songs are not great, and when you play them, it feels dull. There’s other apps out their that actually are free unlike this one which lies and forced you to sign up for a subscription. Not worth 90 dollars a year. This is practically a scam for people to sign up for a 3 day trial and forget about it until it’s too late.

  24. If you are going to make an app with “free” in the title, you should be able to back it up. These app devs man, I know you got to eat but make an actual trial version and ads for free users. Don’t make an inescapable pay wall to play. What the title is, is just false advertising. I wanted to start trying to play some songs but I can’t only because if the inescapable pay wall. Hell my keyboard was cheaper than this and I can search tutorials on yt. App Critic- Boofed Zxyeb (YT)

  25. What trash!! You want me to pay 1,259 a year for this?? Lol! Keep dreaming! This app is garbage! You can’t zoom out passed a certain point. When you press two buttons that are next to each other, it will press something else not the keys you’re actually pressing and it takes forever to open the app! Uninstalling!!

  26. Well I gave it a 4/5 because it is 3 games in one because there is magic keys, magic tiles, and a regular piano and if you want to see what those are I think you should download this game. Also it is so fun and addicting. So I think you should download this awesome game.

  27. Not exactly sure how people are getting into this app without inputting their credit card information and without getting the subscription. I’m not going to bother typing all that in just to cancel 5 minutes later so I don’t get stuck with a bill. If there is a free option then we should just be able to skip to the free option…..deleted app after a few minutes of trying.

  28. I don’t know what happened but here’s my situation. All the free songs have “play”, right? But now, all of them say “unlock” and it’s quite annoying watching ads for EACH SONG! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and everything stayed the same. The situation wasn’t fixed at all. I like one of your apps (Piano Crush), and it’s way better!

  29. Hari P dice:

Don’t see any bugs here but want to report about the close button on the ads. I can’t see it at all so pls make it more visible, other than that, it deserves a 10 out of five!

  30. didnt get no experience because didnt get to go on it at all, i think it’s out of order that your misleading people, it states FREE in the title, if your going to charge…£40 you could at least have the decency to delete the free in the title, and I know theres a free trial, but that’s only for so many days, you shouldn’t even need that, if it says free it should be free, no hidden costs, this its bang out of order and misleading. disappointed because it looked good on the advert.

  31. Nice app! The white keys are fine, but the black keys are too small to play when I tap the minus sign button. I download it ’cause I play piano.

  32. Alex R dice:

Absolutely love it, think it’s one of the best piano apps out. I just wish I could play hear and soul then I could use my normal size screen as well. As my mini hehe but wicked app

  33. I just want to buy a simple piano program that my daughter can enjoy. This free version is just riddled with ads that you have to continuously try to get rid of. If you want to pay then you have to enter into an overpriced subscription arrangement. About to uninstall but it is a pity you can just pay a couple of dollars and have done with it.

  34. This information can be useful for developer. I have been using this app for quite a few time and I have been through updates. So when I installed it in early 2020. It had no issues playing three or four keys together (or a cord progression) simultaneously but now the keys just stuck there and nothing can we done till you press a bunch of other keys as well as no sound comes from those stuck keys for a period of time. I think the updates have made the app worse for user so they should be either.

  35. When someone wants to play the piano, they want to play it now for free. And if they want to pay money for the extras that would come with a subscription then they should be able to do that later, but when someone who wants to try it out and can’t find the play for free option You need to hire new software developers, because the ones you have now suck and need to go back to school and learn how to make things user friendly… Instead of trying to be sneaky and trick people into subscriptions.

  36. Don’t feel like entering my credit card info just to play a piano app, regardless of whether or not I get charged. They give you a 3 day trial, but then automatically charge your card nearly 60 dollars for a yearly subscription. I gather from all the other reviews that there may be some way, once you’ve gotten into the app, to cancel the subscription before the 3 days have elapsed. It is clear, however, that the company relies heavily on folks entering their card info, and forgetting to cancel.

  37. The overly-aggressive and intrusive subscription messages aside, the biggest problem with this app is the abnormal background activity. It randomly drains my whole battery, with a processor load of 20-60% in the background! This is completely unacceptable, which is a shame, considering the actual piano is very decent and configurable.

  38. Wow, what an app. This app honestly has really good potential but I downloaded it to try before I buy but the paid subscription was continously pushed on me. Constant pop ups for the paid subscription after each song. I played 3 songs then stopped. I would like to be able to give this a fair try before I commit over £30 to the subscription. I don’t need constant pop ups telling me to get the subscription.

  39. Our digital Piano app lets you choose sounds from a number of music instruments: from a grand and fortepiano, to the violin, harpsichord, accordion, organ and guitar. Carve out original melodies and record them to play back via different musical instruments. You can also share your musical creations on social media, including Creatubbles, a safe sharing place for children and adults. You’ll learn various chords and how to read sheet music, taking you on your journey to become a virtual piano

  40. cannot even play the game as when opened 3 slides are shown and the third slide is the option for a 7 day free trial, if you subscribe to $50 aud a year. i’ve read replies in other reviews stating there is an ‘x’ button to exist the subscription slide (and continue playing demo for free), however, a notification shows, stating: “you can get unlimited access for free now, don’t miss our limited time offer”, when the ‘no’ button is pressed, nothing happens and everything stated above repeats.
