Can’t access boarding pass. It tells me an error has occurred. I’ve unintstalled the app, reinstalled, logged out, changed my password, retrieved a new itinerary, and STILL can’t access my boarding pass. Edit on nov. 27, 2021. Still trash app. Can’t even book flights lol 😂😂😂😂 crashes when you try to enter credit card. Edit 8 20.24 still trash app. Can’t even get past the bot mechanism.

  2. This app used to be helpful for getting Frontier flight info and making bookings. It now has an annoying “press and hold” confirmation step which sometimes doesn’t allow continuing, and if it does it doesn’t provide desired information. It DOES show bookings I’ve made previously, before the problematic confirmation step.

  3. God Frontier sucks. Booked a flight after having good experiences with the airline when I was younger but never again. Delayed flights and delayed announcements on delays. Only airline app that does not have the function to download your boarding pass and it times out if you keep it on too long. Just pay the extra money to fly a different airline.

  4. Awful experience. Kept charging me 88 dollars. We uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated. I’m Kept to going back to the check in option. The skip is ok for a random seat was the only option to click for picking my seat. When I clicked the skip random the next screen had 88 dollars. I couldn’t figure out why when all the buttons I had checked were $0. The additional help fee was $48. This is the only way I see to get the boarding pass. Very frustrating.

  5. App keeps saying it has an update available. I updated. Still every time I open the app, I get the same message about update available. I have un-installed and reinstalled but still get the same thing. Also, my month of my birthday is wrong. There is NO edit option to fix anything in your profile. I’ve been in touch with a “specolialist” who was going to fix it. NOTHING. App is awful

  6. D dice:

The app keeps asking for an update and won’t grant access, but when I go to the app store, there’s no update button—only uninstall and open options. Additionally, I selected an option that allows me to change my seat for free. However, when I try to change my seat through the app, it charges me $39. If I select assistant service, they -$20. The receipt shows no changes. When I use a computer to change my seat, it works correctly and is free of charge.

  7. Awful. Don’t bother adding Global Entry/Trusted Traveler number. It doesn’t always print on boarding passes, and by then it’s too late. Can’t speak to a human when the app fails you for that or anything else. AI in app, on phone, and chat is terrible. Can’t even get your flight info based on confirmation number correct more than 25% of the time. They clearly have no interest in customer service, only the biggest quarterlies for investors.

  8. Frequent crashes when u finally get logged in. Airline forces the use of such a glitchy app bc it’s the ONLY way to digitally check-in on a flight & the app doesn’t allow you to download & save your boarding passes in your wallet. So it forces you to keep using the app while wasting unnecessary data. This is truly been a HORRIBLE experience. My first & LAST time flying Frontier! It’s not worth the hassle.

This app is incredibly buggy. It doesn’t remember your entries as you go forward and backwards in menus during check in. It doesn’t realize you already logged into the app. It pre-selects tons of options trying to trick you into buying add ons. It doesn’t populate phone numbers and names correctly. How an app for a company this large could be this awful is insane to me.

  10. It won’t let me log in with my password. Works on a pc and works on the mobile browser with my ID and password but not the app. I’ve tried multiple times. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it. I’ve even reset my password, but still NOPE! I hate this app. Even after their updates it won’t let me use my password and the website won’t let me check in because THEY WANT YOU TO USE THEIR “EASY AND CONVENIENT” APP!!!!!!! Last time I fly Frontier and I haven’t even flown with them yet!!!!

  11. For me, I value companies that are upfront in switch their pricing. With Frontier, I paid for my ticket expecting it included standard items that other carriers have such as a carry on bag. But everything is an add on fee at absurd prices. Feels like bait and switch. On top of this, I paid for the ability to select a seat but the app wouldn’t let me select a sean. So I was forced to have it select a seat at random 🙁 This is the first and last time I will choose Frontier Airlines.

I understand being a budget airline. But, not at the expense of customer service! Those low fares seem appealing…until you realize ALL that you need to pay in addition. Help at the airport, seat selection, carry-on bags, checked bags, $5 for water on the plane, etc etc. Additionally, their website will tell you to do something like use the chat feature…and the chat feature will send you a link to the website. An unending annoying circle. Use your travel $ elsewhere!

Wish I could give a zero. I’m 100k annual miler with Frontier. Old app was acceptable with some annoying quirks, but worked. New app errors out on everything except check-in. So you must use the web page. But the mobile webpage doesn’t recognize your Discount Den! The app once errored out and I found it still somehow sold me a ticket! Meantime the error caused me to make a duplicate ticket on the website. This app is trash. Payment page has no spot to use voucher! Garbage.

  14. Ridiculous!! Keeps saying to reset the password, then says the temporary password was not entered correctly. It was copied and pasted, and also entered manually. Then finally says they can’t change the password and to contact the airline. With all the “savings” of using this airline, you’d think they could figure out a simple app

  15. LiLiotl dice:

App is glitchy as hell and won’t ever show me my flight. Had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times and everything on it is broken. (Won’t let me add my actual date of birth, won’t let me see my boarding pass randomly. A ton of error codes when trying to access my flights.) Feels outdated and very unorganized….could be convenient if it actually worked.

  16. Ap will not check in without upgrades. Adds fees at each page without justification. Even skip buttons add additional charges. Website tells you you have to use the ap to check in, but if you go to Contact Us you’ll find online check in. Even there, they will try to charge you for things you’ve already purchased. Make sure you check your confirmation email before paying any additional fees. Once checked in online, boarding pass will populate in the ap. Take screenshots as ap is unreliable.

  17. It’s hard to find what you’re looking for. It’s difficult to navigate. Information doesn’t save, and if you need to go back a page, you have to start over because the information loads incorrectly or you have to start from the beginning again. Most of the information is cut off because the windows don’t expand completely. It took me over 2 hours to book a flight for me and 2 children. The Discount Den is a joke. I called customer service 4 times and still didn’t get all of my questions answered!

  18. When it works it’s great for check-in and viewing your boarding pass. But they really need to improve the reliability, you shouldn’t need to manually refresh every time you open it to view upcoming bookings. It feels like you’re navigating a webpage rather than an app intended to be used on a phone at times. Their closest yellow competitor has a much better app. It also prompts you to update the app when no update is available and the app version is already the version it says is “available”

  19. K M dice:

This is one of the unfriendly airline apps to use. The app doesn’t distinguish the type of ticket you have and will still ask for you to purchase items already included in ticket bundle, complete waste of time. If you attempt to add a bag it attempts to add for every person on the confirmation and not easily let you select just one person to add a checked bag too.

  20. I hate that i have to use the app and that the website alone doesnt cut it, especially since the app is now glitching to say it needs to update and then there is no option to update it. Since im being sent to the app store every single time i try to look at my tickets, i might as well sit here and complain. Annoying to use and i resent that frontier has such a pushy app that makes you pick “no add ons” three times before you can move on, for every single option.
