Long overdue refresh. Loving some aspects of the new aesthetic. Lost a whole bunch of functionality though for example multi torrent selecting and the cool hidden snake game. Even single torrent selecting is gone. Bring those functions back along with the new aesthetic and you’ll have a winner. Oh, make sure the built-in media player doesn’t display an additional notification when not in use. Add more functionality to the media player. That’s especially annoying in Android 9 (Pie).
I close down the app, it says “restarting”, I hold on a torrent to delete, the delete option doesn’t appear, I swipe to delete, it doesn’t work, I shut down the app…”restarting”. I don’t get it, this app worked beautifully for years, I’ve no idea why you’ve messed with it but it’s got so many problems now.
Overall a very good ap but recently have problems. I cannot delete torrents when finished downloading. Have installed update but still having problems .
No reply to my previous review whereby I was having issues. Now it doesn’t work at all, just loads then shuts down. Was forced to persevere with Utorrent, but now it’s started doing the same thing, and I do recommend you stay away from this one with its totally unacceptable invasive takeover of your device with continual forced full screen advertisements. Trying another torrent app now which is much better. I’d like my money back for this one as it doesn’t work.
Newest update removed functionality and made the app harder to use. No longer displays download speed, it’s difficult to get to details for torrents. It’s a pain to select which files you want in an individual torrent. Every time I try to exit the app it restarts, the only way is to force stop. If I try to select a torrent it turn white and nothing works, I have to force stop. The app absolutely sucks now. Why have an update that makes the app nearly worthless? I wish I didn’t waste my money.
Every compute I have had since 2001 has had BT installed BitTorrent + the proper torrent site = successful downloads Nothing is perfect but thanks for your time and effort to get close Keep Seeking Perfection
Dislike that I can’t select outside of SD card android file because without special file system it’s unacessable.
Worst experience. I downloaded a couple of movies to watch. But couldn’t transfer them to my USB bc they were in a file I didn’t had access to. It require me to root my device but don’t want to go thr9the process. Don’t waste ur money get a better torrent
Auto shutdown no longer works on the latest update. Also, missing queue issue is back again. Had to re-add torrents every time I open the app, then gets a ‘duplicate’ error. Please fix, thanks.
Used it for years and never a single problem. I highly recommend and I don’t even get high! I like to call it “getting rite”…
Functions fine. Annoying that I have to force stop for it to not run in the background.
Latest Update fixed auto shutdown bug and some other improvements. Very good 👍🏻 But I miss the old UI (user interface) where I can see download speed, seeders and leechers (like the PC version)
EDIT 06/11/19: Still not a huge fan of new UI, but most issues fixed…. As others have mentioned, really not a fan of the new UI, it’s been dumbed down, for what reason I can’t fathom, I can’t see how many peers or DL speed anymore, it’s really not intuitive, and if I’m downloading a folder with multiple files, I can’t prioritise order as I could easily before. Sure, offer this new UI as “simple” view or something, but would rather have the old view, information and functionality back please!
No longer working since the last update keeps pausing downloads and is unusable But the free buttorrent is working fine Update always something wrong with this app the new issue is it won’t close down after a torrent has download even after I exit it reopens it’s self
Extremely disappointed. Used the free version for ages with no problems but this upgrade will not download period. I have tried every possible combination of ports and Torrent sites without success. I feel ripped off even for the small sum I parted with. Stick with the free version folks. And I would appreciate an answer from the boffins at source.

My app keeps crashing as soon as I try and open it… is it just my phone?
App “failed to load” any torrents I attempted to download, no matter which of the options I used. No help from company yet. I don’t have that issue with the standard version of app so don’t think it’s phone settings.
Been great for many years. There’s an issue with closing the app. for a while lately, however. Doesn’t ruin usage; just annoying.
used on a samsung chromebook, it cant dowload to external storage and if dowloaded to system memory its hidden and not accessable. it begs the question why is it on the playstore for chromebooks if its not useable. 3 stars because it works flawlessly on windows and android phones
The apps won’t shut down and reopen everytime I exited. Deleted torrents keep resurrecting. The problems from free version repeating itself on paid one. Shame on you devs
I had previously put up a five star review but now I can longer exit the app. In order for the app to quit I now have to Force stop it. I miss the auto shutdown functionality that worked and no longer does
Revised…. Awesome Application now after months of updates and reinstall. Works as it should….. Where is the key?????? I was forced to reset my phone 📱 now can’t locate the licence for BitTorrent Pro…..
Was a great app used for over 10 years. New update sucks Google files can’t reconize video and it won’t play on any other player except basic player that comes with app sucks uninstalling

I honestly love this app, but why did you guys change the icon!?, I loved it when it was grey. It gave a clear separation between me and the peasants who can’t afford the pro version. Jk, but still, change it back to grey.
Used to be way better. I can’t access the file system to where my files are supposedly being stored. It was better when I could before. Now it just picks a location for you and doesn’t let you select the file manually to move around as you wish.
The new layout is horrendous. What’s the point of paying for a pro version to get a product that is shittier than it used to be.
21/07/2022 update has so much bugs totally ruined. It seems like i wasted money in pro app and its even horrifying for tablets. But make it simple atleast to see which task is downloading without over lapping of two tasks
new update doesnt close out when finished like it supposed too on my galaxy fold 4? This is why I paid for pro version please fix and it reopens after I manually close it please fix

Great app, only thing is that on videos tab, you cannot remove them, also, is there any way to create a torrent from the app? Overall experience is fairly good, it does hang up at times when deleting old torrents, I’ve found that existing the app, then re-opening it fixes it. Maybe a few features/problems that have been discussed already.
100% worth the upgrade. I’ve been using this app for well over a year, and the ability to close when not in use is worth the upgrade alone. I upgraded from the s9 to the s10, and this app worked the same, except better, because this phone can handle much faster write speeds. Keep up the good work guys.
The interface is awesome, but the functionality… it’s really bad. I tried 5 different torrents from 5 different sources, all known to be well seeded and I have a good internet connection. All were stuck at 1% and only one managed to start downloading, with a laughable 30 kbps speed. Refunded. Sorry guys, I’ll stick to the free version. I really wanted to give you my money, but…
I don’t understand this app. I had the original BitTorrent app and it was very easy to use. You are supposed to be able to type in a song your looking for and get a list of torrents to choose from. This app makes no sense. I searched for a song and it took me to a website that displays other websites. YouTube links and other links yet no BitTorrent downloads. What is this? Why is it so complicated. The original version was simple. Not happy at all so far.
I tried disabling power saving mode as you suggested. But it didn’t work. I’ve unlimited broadband plan, so I don’t have any data saver mode enabled. As soon as the screen light goes off, this app stops downloding though running in the background and as soon as I open it, it immediately starts downloading.
5th of aug Select on hold doesn’t have opacity and gets stuck on preventing use of this app 3rd oct still same issue if not worse i have to close and open the app after EVERY SINGLE SELECT
This app seems to be a worst app now a days even compared to its free version. It won’t start downloading since most of the time seeders info is zero. If in case it starts downloading, it won’t last longer and won’t download at maximum speed which is supported by desktop version. Also, when app is goes background then it stops downloading completely. Support team needs seriously look into this.
