  1. Every time I have attempted to do my profile it goes almost complete and then when I finish it ,it just goes back to the top of the page. Called and they said delete it and reload the app. NOTHING CHANGED!!! I love Bath and Body but your app sucks! If I have coupons I don’t know it unless it comes in the mail and even that is spotty. Just fix it.

  2. What a struggle to get the app to actually do what it’s supposed to. Changing or updating anything in my order caused freezing, crashing or buffering. I even closed and reopened the app several times as well as a restart of my phone. In the end, I was finally able to make my purchase with many complications.

  3. IF I’m lucky enough to get the cart to actually load, AND there’s an out of stock item, item(s) don’t automatically get removed (and no option to empty cart). I must painstakingly delete each item. Every time, it freezes, lags, & causes endless frustration! I’ve been trying to clear mine for a month! Also, after every item is added to the cart, I must choose to “continue shopping” or “view cart and check out”. More lagging/freezing/frustration. WHY is it SO hard to order my fave scents?

  4. I love bath and body works and have been shopping there for quite some time. The deals they have especially the semi annual sales are the best and I try to take advantage when I can. My issue is the app makes it very difficult to navigate remove items from cart and to check out. It’s very glitchy freezes up or is slow I haven’t had a smooth transaction on the app since downloading it. If these issues were fixed I’d gladly give it 5 stars.

    App works great for the most part… however, the biggest thing is that you can’t combine offers with free gift coupons like you can in the store. Also, you almost always have to pay for shipping, unless the products are available for pickup. OR, there’s a special deal that includes free shipping. Some products are online exclusive and must be shipped. Currently, there’s a glitch with seeing your wishlist items. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Only problems is the shopping page likes to not load quite a bit. also I never received my points for my in store purchase that I made a few days ago. they said they would show up within 72 hours because I gave them my phone number.. but it didn’t. I can’t complain bc I got a $10 off coupon and there’s so many products for under $5 with the huge sale.. but I do believe you should get free shipping if you spend a certain amount. I’m basically paying double on shipping as 1 item cost.

    I like the app but sometimes it can take a while to load. I’m having an issue currently trying to change from shipping to store pickup, after I enter my location it freezes and stays stuck on the page that says “just one sec, we’re pulling up your store” It’s almost Christmas though so maybe the servers are just overloaded from a lot of people doing last minute shopping or something. Overall it’s a decent shopping experience.

    The app is cool for the rewards but it does not run smoothly at all. Often crashes, I can rarely set my store, and when I do, I have to reset it every time I open the app. Since it doesn’t work all the time, I often don’t get the pick up in store option. It just circles and never loads. Coupons are also suppose to be uploaded on the app, but I’ve had the app for quite some time, and have NEVER recievd a coupon, just rewards(which is great, but coupons are a part of the draw) very disappointed.

    The website and app doesn’t work. When you try to view your cart and you’re lucky enough to get in to it, there are multiple items that are no longer available. Instead of removing the item from the list to purchase, it makes you delete the items in your cart, then the website crashes. most the time the website is super slow and glitches and it crashes, making it impossible to view your cart, let alone purchase items. I missed out on my free birthday gift, and coupons that are sent to me.

  10. App is just okay. The sales coupons doesn’t automatically load in my wallet as advertised. This would be one of the most convenient aspects of the app if it works. It always gives an error message saying check my internet connection and last updated in 1969???? SUPER annoying! Of course there’s no customer service email to contact about this issue. I just uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall it. No help.

  11. the app is super slow, lags quite a bit and for some reason if you’re on the phone and tey to adjust the volume with the buttons on your phone it will make the page skip backwards or forwards. also it does not toggle very well if you hop to another app and then come back to it. I usually have to close the app and re-open it. I love B&BW, always have always will the app just needs an update

  12. not a super smooth app. it takes a while for things to load when adding or removing to cart, but that’s not a huge deal. the main issue I have and why I rated three stars is the fact that the app WILL NOT find a store. I have one in my city (less than ten miles away) and the app just spins forever saying ‘one sec, we’re pulling up your store’ but never actually pulls it. frustrating!

    Really like the app! Has made Christmas shopping especially easy…however, when I am browsing items under the “Shop” tab and minimize the app to go to another app, everything on the page disappears except the navigation bar at the bottom of the app. I have to close the app out and reopen it or cycle through the navigation bar a few times before the items will reload. This gets frustrating. Would have rated 5 stars if this wasn’t an issue.

  14. This app has been terrible for forever. Things load or don’t load, if you veer from the app to open anything else on your phone, the app doesn’t reload and you need to start over. The shopping bag can’t remove more than one item at a time and takes forever to reload each time. It can’t find my local store to pick up from anymore. It’s frustrating to use, but the product is good so I put up with it. It is what it is. 🤷‍♀️

  15. The app has been frozen since ‘candle day.’ I have had items in my my cart since then; unable to purchase because it’s in error mode. I can’t even see what’s in my cart. I’ve uninstalled the app numerous times, force stopped, cleared cache, and NOTHING has changed. It is beyond frustrating 😤 The app is completely useless to me. Someone, please fix. Nonetheless, I’m a little excited to get up off my butt and go shopping the good old-fashioned way…🙃 Happy Holidays!!

  16. I’d say 3.5-4 stars, I like it but could be a little better. Pros – convenient and helps me find good deals on their products Cons – the app tends to run slow, a little clunky when trying to click on products and switch to different pages/sections in the app. Every selection takes a moment to process which isn’t too bad or anything but isn’t smooth and makes navigating the app feel a little tedious. I also don’t like that you can’t take screenshots or screen recordings while using the app

    App doesn’t take you right back to where you were if you leave it to go to another window (not closing the app, just going to a different app). You have to go to the “shop” page before your cart appears instead of having it available on any page. The “go to cart or continue shopping” popup every time I add to my cart is very annoying. Also the app won’t let me use the promo code I got in the mail.

  18. I have never been able to complete an order on this app. It locks up. Takes forever to get from item to item. If you want to change to store pickup you have click on the item, wait forever for it to load, if it will, then change to store pick up. (That’s if it’s available at your store) Once your in the cart, don’t dare make any changes or need to go back shopping. It’s a for sure waiting game. I have wasted so much time on nothing in this app. It’s so disappointing 😞

  19. Overall the app worked well for me. A little slow a few times, but I think that may have been from my own indecisiveness. The only thing I wish worked better, is being able to use coupons on one order. For example, using a %25 of entire purchase and also being able to use the “free full-size body care item with any purchase”. In store this is allowed, but not on-line. I will have to take my order confirmation into the store and see if they will honor it, we will see.

  20. The app overall is pretty good usually. I just placed an online order and was able to choose everything I wanted but was unable to apply my rewards for my free item I have earned. So I guess I’ll just have to do that in store at some time before it expires but was hoping to be able to include it in this most recent order. That’s an inconvenience. Otherwise, everything else was ok.

  21. So this is why, I am only giving 3 stars…The “change your store” option takes FOREVER to load and stays stuck on “pulling up your store”. Sometimes it never loads at all and I have to go to the website to order and pick-up. I have checked that maybe it was my network, but I tried it at several different places with different networks and times of the the day, and it still took long to load. It’s frustrating because it would be great if it was easier to order in the app. Please fix this.

  22. The B&BW app works way better than the website! The website account errors seemed to be the reason I never got my promotional coupons in the mail. It’s the first time in 2 years that I have gotten coupons thanks to it being digital! I have heard from fam & friends that purchase points stop being credited to your app within the first months though, so I am anxious to see if the perks of having the app will dissappear.

  23. I love Bath & Body Works, especially their Wallflowers! Unfortunately, their app is terrible, esp since this latest upgrade. It’s slow and resets after every click I do. Pages don’t function. I can’t click on my “favorites” and the “shop” icons. It keeps saying “try again”. When I loaded the app today, it forced the upgrade to join a points-based membership. So I restarted the app, and now I can’t log on the app using my login that I know is correct, and now the website shows I’m locked out!

  24. The worst, trying to use my wallet from the app is impossible. It should autopopulate but it doesn’t and when you leave the shop screen, when you return it’s either frozen or your cart is missing! I had gift cards added in the order covering the entire expense and it kept asking for my credit card. What should’ve took no more than 5 minutes took 30!!! This makes me only want to go into the store (which I just don’t have time for).

  25. Offers are not on the web version, which is much easier to search/browse. so I have to pick items, then re-enter all of my cart to the app cart, so I can apply offers. Inevitably, as the last 5 orders, there will be a free offer item out of stock and canceled, no replacement, no replenishment if its a reward. Unless you spend 45 min calling and explaining how they owe you an item without charging you for shipping that 1 item. I’ve given up. Since I’ve invested so much in wallflowers, I’m stuck.

  26. It was working so-so, but then it just stopped. Literally. I can shop to a fairly decent extent, but checking out isn’t happening. I am one who contemplates spending the money they want for consumable items, so I make a significant amount of changes to my cart as I go along and before I complete my purchase. I’ve tried for DAYS waiting on my cart to load with no success. It’s not worth the time or money I spend with the company if it creates more aggravation than the happiness from B&BW.

Usually a lot of crashing pages, but if one link to the same place doesn’t work normally can just click a different one that may work, if you click off the app during check out it goes white screen which makes it hard to enter cc info from digital cards or to look up coupons. I’d skip the app and just buy online if you’re like me and only shop once maybe twice a year for the semi-annual sale.

  28. It’s not terrible, but could be improved. You can’t access the love-it list at all and it doesn’t set to your store. Or at least, that’s what I’ve encountered. Otherwise, the rewards is what I access the most. I haven’t made a purchase through the app yet so not sure how well that works, but I appreciate the easy access to my account coupon/reward codes.

    I absolutely love B&BW!!!! The app is easy to use and love the rewards program. The only thing is that I have to order in the app and pickup in store or have it shipped to me, inorder for me to use my rewards. I can’t wait until they have the rewards program in more areas. Well I have to say now my app is running slowly freezing up and yes I’ve checked for any updates. It doesn’t matter if it’s my internet or wifi connection it seems to all run the same. I’ve lost good items due to this.

    For the most part, runs smoothly. The cart, coupons and all other rewards work great as intended. Only downside I’ve had is the menu for navigating not working or freezing. If you know what you want to look for and search instead it’ll work fine, but sometimes the menu just locks. This makes the browsing experience lackluster at times.

  31. The idea is great. You have access to the rewards and current offers, layout is clean and overall the app runs smoothly. My biggest issue is that the pickup option is buggy. It only allows you tap the [set store] button when checking out, but still selects shipping as the checkout option. Tried everything to fix it, maybe it will be fixed with an update.

    Great app, easy to use. Things that could be improved are the ability to select a store and it be maintained in the settings, biometrics sign-in does not work (signing in manually each and every time sucks), the ability to add a full set (body wash, lotion and spray) to my cart at once would be great. Also, once a default store is selected for pickup let that be the default when adding items to the cart, having to manually change each item for store pick up is high customer effort.

  33. App removed an item from my cart randomly, went to a white screen several times while shopping, and would never allow me to set my store for pickup. I was able to place an order in the end so I’m giving it 3 stars, but would rather have avoided shipping and been able to check if items were available to pickup at my closest store. I also dislike that you can only use 1 coupon online, but stack them in store. You miss out on the freebies, plus have to pay shipping online. It makes no sense.

    The app works well. However, I would like the ability to add multiple items to the shopping bag and/or Love-it List all at once. For example, provide check-boxes with the option to add all to preferred location. I haven’t experienced the issues others have mentioned. Perhaps it’s a matter of the phone/operating system they’re using…?

  35. I have to admit there was issues in the beginning of this app with all of the glitches. Glad to see that the issues has been fixed making the B&BW easy to use. The only thing I dislike is that you can’t use multiple coupons for 1 transaction, especially if one’s for a free item and 20%/25% off entire purchase, but I digress. Still a good app so I’m a happy customer m

  36. The is THE most useless app. It doesnt load the photos of the items. You can click something multiple times and it wont go to the item. The review section always has the numbers but wont show the actual reviews. When youre trying to edit your cart, it will keep the items you deleted unless you take everything out of the cart. This happens even when you click that button at the bottom that says update cart. It took me over 40 minutes to finish my order even though i already knew what i wanted.

    Awesome app. Easy to use and everything is all in one spot. I see other reviews describing problems people have been having but I haven’t had any. The app is much easier than trying to open the web browser. You have all your coupons in one spot even your paper mail-in coupons will be on the app for convenience in case you lose the physical ones. Super easy to earn points and redeem items as well as shopping directly from the app. Highly recommend!!!

  38. I love the products and the sales are awesome. But, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS APP. I have issues every single time I use it. The website isn’t any better. I have trouble deleting things from my cart. It takes so long for the page to refresh after it finally does delete the item. I created a new account so I could start over with an empty cart. Then there is the bot defender making me press and hold the button to prove I’m not a bot. I have to do it 3 or 4 times before it believes me.

  39. I recently installed this app (now that it’s available in my area). I enjoy the in store pick up option but it’s not allowing me to change locations. It’s disappointing for the fact that i missed out on some items i wanted to purchase from a different location. The “change store location” was working at first, but only for one day, then it hasn’t worked since. It just spins and says it’s working on bringing up locations. I hope this is just a glitch and will be fixed soon.

    This app is really really slow loading and somtimes it never loads and I need to restart it. The last time I used it, I ended up having to restart it 4 times before I gave up on trying to use this app. Extremely buggy and incredibly annoying. I usually end up just using the website instead of this stupid glitchy app. It has been this way since I first downloaded it in May 2022…so it is not a new problem. And my love it list never loads.
