I like the app in that it is easy to listen to audiobooks I already have and is easy to control remotely with bluetooth devices. I’m not crazy about the search for new books or not being able to search in my particular genre. It tries to force me into books that I have absolutely no interest in. I also think it is a little too high priced, especially since you only earn 1 credit a month and I’ve not been given the opportunity to buy additional credits.
I like the app but it freezes a LOT. I like to audiobook on walks around my neighborhood. Great cell service throughout, but on a 45 min walk, the app crashes about 3-4 times, causing a force quit and restart. If theres network connectivity issues, why can’t the app retry and recover without having to manually force quit and restart?
Loving the audible experience. Now that I have special hearing aids, listening to books is an option for me. It never was before. This rocks. I am able to listen at work, so makes a long day really doable. It’s almost like lectures. My fave authors are on here, like Thomas Sowell, Douglas Murray. Numerous subjects, great selections. I’ve not tried fiction books yet, but the app is easy to use, books are easy to pic out. I was skeptical at first, my daughter raved, glad I tried it out
Love the stories and there are so many options. Unfortunately I cannot listen often enough to spend the money at the moment. I just spent 20 minutes trying to cancel my subscription and still cannot figure out how to cancel. The helpdesk options just take you in loops. I thought I canceled 3 months ago but apparently just had the account on hold. I got charged for this again when I havnt listened in almost 4 months. I am livid. I won’t ever recommend them again.
