  1. It’s great for a light weight photo adjustment! My pc recently died and I had to get a chromebook which meant I couldn’t download the .Exe photoshop. I was heart broken because I use forums a lot and photos need to be a certain size etc so not being able to modify photos made it SUPER hard! This has helped a LOT and I am really grateful to be able to use it.

  2. I pay monthly to use the Adobe complete works on my phone, tablet, and computer. It’s got pretty much all I need! Especially Photoshop. However, there’s a few tools missing from the mobile version from the computer version, like the more precise cut and fill tools for getting rid of backgrounds. There’s also a lack of overlays, but other than that, it’s all I need for most projects!

  3. First day using it, but so far it is very easy to use, has so many filter options to chose from. Will only edit with PS from this day forward. I didnt think I would like the watermark feature as much as I do. I wish I could put my personal watermark in, or even move and adjust watermark provided. Maybe there is a way? But still learning, creating amazing photos and having fun in process.

  4. I couldn’t find the sharpen a d the noise fix. and it was one of the reasons I wanted to pay to have access to this photoshop . My computer has more options to fix a picture than this Adobe, or if I’m looking in the wrong place, please guide me. My computer has saturation, sharpen, contrast, red eye fix, color change. So I just needed noise fix . I’m studying photography and my book recommended me this photoshop, but again. I can’t find some of the features they mention about Adobe photoshop.

  5. Absolutely love this app! My only complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to save a session and reopen later as a session; the only thing I can open later is the saved image. Unless it’s possible already and I’m missing something, I really think this app would benefit from allowing users to reopen sessions later.

  6. There are probably a bunch of other apps that people use on Android to edit, make collages etc with their content. I go with what I know and that isn’t some sort of malware app. So I go with this product from Adobe maybe bare bones if you have free standard trial but it’s straight forward and doesn’t take up much space. It can handle the basics if you need more robust then you have option to upgrade.

  7. This program offers a wide range of options to enhance any photo. Anyone can use it, from the novice to the pro. I have been using it awhile and still don’t know Everything. I am a novice, I use it on a photo to adjust the parameters here and there to the “settings” I LIKE. A Pro may say it should be “this way”…but IF I like it, that’s all that matters to me. Try it AND experiment with it, and have FUN!

  8. Sage Red dice:

Awesome app! I have been using for so long. It is very useful for fine tuning and editing photos to your exact taste, paired with the ability of saving as a custom preset. My only issue now which takes a star is that my new phone (OnePlus 10 Pro) has a problem where the android version of this app does not support .heif which is annoying because that is how I can shoot in 10-bit color.

  9. It works well. The only thing that drives me nuts is that I can’t flip through my images full screen. You can scroll the thumbnails, but if you want to look at each image in large size you click on one, open it, click on another, open it. You should be able to look at them full size and scroll through them at full size.

  10. Welcome to my new app. It does nothing. I can tinker with a few filters, can barely adjust a simple photo, and when I finally find something I can work with… I can’t save anything. Or it offers for me to try a collage, and I’m stuck in a loop trying to get out. Ease of use is garbage. I suppose the only way that you can actually do anything is to pay for the full veraion?

  11. 👎 Needed to blackout images on my phone, but realized this software creates a layer when edit. Original image that I didn’t want recovered, is recoverable. Yikes!! Not the right app for my purpose. Couldn’t even get a refund after cancelling. If you need to blackout images permanently, this is not the app, because the original image can still be recovered!!! 👎👎👎👎

  12. Love this app for quick editing still learning, I’d love to be able to after I select a photo to flip through to the next one rather than going back on the page. Also would love to be able to erase objects but that is just for the developers. As for users this is a great app and looking forward to buying the entire editing package with 1tb of storage.

  13. Cecil dice:

This app is a staple for me when it comes to editing my photos. Excellent settings, no annoying ads, and it’s easy to use. Also, SO GLAD we can adjust the placement of overlays now, genuinely had to resist the urge to jump up and holler about it when I saw it.

  14. Jeni Wahl dice:

I’ve used this free photo editor for years. It was balky, but it did create pretty nice pictures. All of a sudden, standard adjustments are listed as “premium,”as in I’ll have to pay for what was formerly free, and on top of that, my photos now have a prominent “Photoshop Express” watermark on them, completely ruining them for printing. App deleted! I would have given it 3 to 4 stars in the past; I’d give it zero stars now, if I could!

  15. Unbelievably worthless. You are limited to pre-made edit options, you can’t add shapes or boxes, you can’t draw on anything, there are zero options for personal touches. Pure garbage. EDIT: it is so useless that all I wanted was to black out the face of a child on a photo, and there is no possible way to add a box or anything to cover up something. No ability to draw, nothing. It is less than worthless. Because it is a waste of everyone’s time.

  16. It’s mini-photoshop- it should be a great tool. But what good is it if it crashes out of the blue without saving changes? Thirty minutes spent perfecting a photo and all of my progress, gone. Another twenty minutes spent on a different photo, same story. No one with a head on their shoulders would pay for this app. It’s not worth the monetary investment considering how much time and effort will be stolen from you.

  17. Really love the options and that I can save filters. I do alot of nature photography and when I get pictures of my black dogs against white snow they loose all their features. But with this app I can set a filter for different light levels and don’t have to spend hours editing my photoes, just a few minor adjustments and it’s good.

  18. Works wonderfully when it decides to (as in it barely works unfortunately). As I am trying to edit an engagement shoot, it continues to just randomly crash during edits. Half the time it can recover the image, half the time it can’t. Along with this, after I finish my image and go to the save page, it will not save my image through the gallery or through my files. I lose all of my progress. However, when I can save it, the image looks great and the editing options are wonderful and simple to use. Hopefully they can fix the crashing and saving situation soon!

  19. This app is stable, very well optimized, and the toolset is fairly decent. There’s a couple features here that I’ll be keeping this app for Now my praise ends. I didn’t experience any outright issues with using and navigating this app, but I did have a horribly frustrating time making sense of the UI. Its not intuitive, and it got in my way multiple times while editing. That, and the fact that it supports raw images but doesnt have adequate tools for developing them, are my biggest issues.

  20. Typically my favorite photo editing app, always a go-to. Lately though, I’ve not been able to save projects, even after reinstalling the app, reopening it, and doing the work over. I’ve gone as far as deleting stuff from my phone incase it had something to do with data storage; nothing. I love PSE overall, don’t get me wrong. But when it decides not to work, it really crashes and burns.

  21. It’s great and very professional! has every tool you need! The only thing that bugs me is how you can only open one photo at a time and can only select one. If you could integrate a next or previous button to see the other photos so that I could compare and move on quickly that would be amazing!! Also the app will sometimes crash and not allow me to open up projects or photos. If you could make this more reliable then that woud also be gret! Thanks!!

  22. App Experience changed. No good now. On my old phone the app worked great. Now it is so riddled with prompts to upgrade to premium that I cannot use it. I get it. They want me to pay for it. 8 would if it was a one time fee, but I’m not paying on a subscription basis either monthly or yearly. Not sure what version I had prior to changing phones. Maybe I paid years ago and forgot? Either way, not paying now and not usable. I can do same stuff with the free software. Just liked the interface.

  23. I love this app, it edits great, quality comes out just fine, resolution is good. The only problem I have is that it takes FOREVER to load on different edits. And it’s not because of my device, its the app. I’ve tried everything, from deleting things on for space, to going from wifi to data, restarting my device, deleting and redownloading the app, and still it is slow on loading. Day after day, I have to wait forever for it to load for anything. Super annoying.

  24. Overall, it’s great, all the photoshop apps are great, but that’s the issue, there are too many apps. I can’t fo everything I need to do on one application, I have to save, export, and switch apps just to do simple editing. It would be awesome if they released an app with the features of all the apps in one, it would really help and I wouldn’t even mind if it was priced at a few dollars. Just please put the features of all the apps into one.

  25. The app is really good for editing photos and I like the collage feature. The problems I have with it are (1) you can’t shrink the images within the canvas/workarea and/or move it freely, (2) no simple layer support for backgrounds and such, (3) the device aspect ratio bounding box can’t be rotated as far as I could tell, and (4) I saw no patching, cloning, or smudge tools to correct/edit parts of images. In short, I would like a bit more Photoshop and a little less Express; some of these features are in other Adobe apps, but the bouncing between them can be troublesome. If I am missing something, my apologies.

  26. This is an excellent photo editing app. It pretty much does everything I need it to do, and possibly more. Not sure, since I haven’t explored all of its capabilities yet. I have two issues with it, though. First, whenever I try to add text it warns me that I need to choose a style first, EVEN WHEN I ALREADY HAVE. It’s annoying at best. Secondly, it won’t let me return to the home page until I save changes. Despite having already saved them to Gallery. I hate redundancy. Too much to do.

  27. Great app, I love all the options and filters. I do wish it had some more advanced tools, especially in the selection, refining and color but and adaptation. It would be awesome to drop color in finite areas instead of applying to the entire selection. Also, needs a more fine control on the selection tools, it’s too broad. That being said, the average user playing around with photos would find it wonderfully encompassing and very easy and fun to use!

  28. This app is awesome for photo editing. So many presets to select. Add text any color, various font/styles/resizing. Corrections, lighting, so much! Simple to use. FREE and NO ADS! Note is is a photo editor, but I would definitely edit here first, then introduce photos to collage maker. Limitations, when I do a feathered border, i can’t choose the color, it chooses black or white; it has little for editing background “noise.” I can’t choose a background color for banner text either. Very odd.

  29. Voz T dice:

This app is okay. It’s a good way to get in a quick watermark and edits without using the desktop application. It definitely isn’t a standalone, does-it-all sort of app, which is fine to me (it’s free so). I do wish that you could erase parts of the effects. Some of the bokeh effects are beautiful but look odd when you can’t erase part of it over the subject.

  30. I loved the app & save had it for years! It was easy to learn & I could do the most amazing edits & restorations with it! Today, however, I tried to make a few edits & it was wouldn’t save my work unless I started paying for it yearly/monthly. I would pay $20 or $25 to get this app, but I’m not paying money every month to use it! That’s ridiculous! You people make more than enough selling your full versions! I am so disappointed! I won’t be using it again. It will be uninstalled shortly.

  31. This app is excellent for quick and simple photo editing on your mobile device. I am a photographer as a hobby and editing this easily is so convenient. One small complaint I would give is that the effects tab to add effects mostly look kind of corny, and it’s hard to masks them flow with the look of the photo as desired. If any adobe developer sees this, I would techies making it so that we can rotate, trim, and expand different elements of the effects so that it’s less constricting to utilise. Overall an excellent choice for photo editing.

  32. I requested this a little while ago, but hadn’t used it yet. It seemed to move in last night, and It was pretty neat how I was brought into it. I photographed a bunch of shots with the phone camera and when I went to crop and adjust in the phone setting, all my photos were pixalated in a very low number dpi, and wouldn’t load up. Dat-da-da-Daaaa! Photoshop Express to the rescue! I could do everything that I wanted to do plus a bunch more that I hadn’t expected! This is all I’m allowed to say.497

  33. Too many nit picky people. It’s “PS Express”…For use on mobile devices primarily… Mainly, to fix up those pix we grab when out and about where we don’t have our dlsr to capture the “big image” so we snag it on our phone/tabs. Instead of dragging the files onto the computers to edit on the full version of PS, one can color correct, contrast, fix blemishes, add text, crop and more on the go. There has been plenty of times when I captured something on my mobile and wished I had PS on hand to tweak it a little and have it ready without worrying about bringing it home to the transformer it over to the full version. Now are there other apps that can do some other “cool things” that this doesn’t? Yes. But that happens with everything in life. Lol There will always be another version of something that outshines the other in one way or another. I like it. Does what it suppose to…Only thing I need to test is print quality after saving…

  34. It’s definitely what it says it is, it’s a light weight, mobile friendly version of photoshop. It’s definitely targeted more towards photography enhancements than anything else though, so don’t expect it to let you do all of the things its desktop big brother is capable. It does have a lot of neat filters that I wish were available out of the box with the full version though and the UI is much more intuitive for new users. My only big gripe is that it doesnt seem to let you delete photos.

  35. I really love this app. With the crop option there’s several different ways that you can adjust the image that is crooked or tilted it can be flattened and straight. It also gives you the option to adjust the variables. There is a few options missing keeping it from the PERFECT App One being “Paint” which is important if you want to make certain corrections. The correction option they provide only clones so it takes a great deal of time and many attempts to get the desired affect, sometimes not.

  36. r mills dice:

I’ve used this app for years & I will say I have loved it & told everyone about it for 8yrs+. I just purchased a new device. I noticed the icon was different but I figured no big deal. WRONG. Some of the “corrections” are no longer free. I’ve pulled old images off various locations. Sometimes it’s old with distortions. I could fix it easily. Not anymore. The 2 options are NOW unavailable unless you pay & I won’t go into detail why that’s not an option for me. You’ve lost a long-term customer.

  37. This app is wonderful and so user friendly to even those who know nothing about photoshop. Not only can you find an editing tool for almost any aspect of photoshop (including a vast array of font styles and colors, filters, collage options, resizing tools, color correction, and more), but these options are clear, accessible, organized, and efficient. It works on mobile devices and computers like a charm. I’ve used this app for so long an couldn’t think of anything better to use!

  38. I believe I’ve been using this program for a little over a year. I’m using a Chrombook and it worked fine until yesterday. It starts to load then crashes. I’ve restarted my chromebook updated stuff and still the program crashes. I still gave it 5 stars. I’m a photographer and used it often, I really liked how easy it was to use and the results of really editing a photo not using filters but kind of making your own filters 😉

  39. I had given this app only one star when I reviewed it 2 years ago because I found it completely unusable due to the number of ads popping up. Apparently the developers have fixed the glitches because I reinstalled it tonight and am having no issues so far. The app seems to have many features that are lacking in other photo editing apps. There’s a great variety of filters for special effects. I’m still finding my way around but am liking it so far.

  40. Adobe has done it again. They continue to be the top photo editing software in the world, because their software is so versatile and does wonders with pictures. Their mobile version is very versatile. The learning curve is far easier than the full blown computer version. And it is FREE to use. Get your copy at the Google Play store.

  41. I have been using this app for years. I have a Adobe account on my computer but this was a quick and easy method of editing photos on my phone until you started charging for services that you were already providing. Suddenly calling your standard services premium so you can charge for them is a money grab. Update new services and charge for them. There are a LOT of other photo editors out there. I deleted some of them to keep yours, but will be reloading them.

  42. I’ve been using this app across three phones for years. Loved it. They keep removing functions behind a pay wall and that’s sad. Features like dehazing and filters are now locked. After having to buy a subscription for college in a summer program in Italy, Adobe then charged nearly hundred bucks because they didn’t explain month to month billing was basically a year subscription in disguise. Had to argue and get my money back. I miss when they were just programs on CD! Bad practice Adobe.

  43. Brianna dice:

I really LOVE this app! It’s very easy to use, and there aren’t much ads, so that makes me happy. A lot of the features are free, so I use those. The only issue is that is always says I have “Unsaved work,” but I have already downloaded the picture, so it’s not a big deal. 5/5, better than Snapseed, coolest photo editing app ever.

  44. Super easy to use on both my phone and my PC. I’ve used it for many years. My only gripe is that when it takes your file from your computer it seems to degrade the quality of the photograph once it’s transferred over to the program. Once it’s in Photoshop you have to sharpen almost to the max of the slider every time to get the quality you saw in your original.

  45. Love this app! As a professional photographer this is must have for on the go editing and simple fixes. So easy to use! The only thing I would change is to have the auto light adjustment option back. This was a huge time saver. The auto fix wand is just not the best and really doesn’t ‘fix’ the photo to look the best like it is designed to do. Please bring back the auto light fix option! Thank you!

  46. It’s been great until the last week or so. Now it crashes constantly, some of the features are glitching (the healing tool, for one), the zoom function isn’t controllable in terms of direction, and although I have the premium version, it keeps telling me that some features are only available with purchase. I’ve uninstalled multiple times and have talked with customer service, but there’s been no resolution. The app still won’t work properly. 😒
